Emailed and then called Home Experts on Wednesday (4/6/2011) looking for someone to repair a part of my gutter that was coming loose and a shutter that was coming loose. Ken came out same day and gave me an estimate. He then came back 2 days later and did the work. I found him to be extremely nice and very professional and will undoubtedly be using this company again in the future.

They primed the walls with the wrong color, and then used six coats of paint. We would never recommend them or use them again.

Awesome. Ken is the best. He has worked on our house from this door install to a bathroom rennovation. Highly professional. A solid choice if you want to do business with an independent contractor. Since he is small, projects may take longer to commence or complete. But, when on site, work is done efficiently.

Very well, he had the work done within 3 days of me confirming to move forward. The work was done very well, and Ken called me later that night to make sure everything was satisfactory.

Overall, I think the vendor was confused and unprofessional. I originally scheduled a 10am on Thursday. I got a call back later in the day saying that wouldn't work, could we move it. I returned the call, and it turns out 10 am Thursday was fine -- the appointment just was remembered as Wednesday. On Thursday, at 10am, there was no sign of Ken. At 10:35 Kent called and said he'd be to my condo in 5 minutes. At 11 he arrived. Low punctuality score. Then, in showing him the damage, I noticed that he was tracking dirt all through my condominium, not having either taken his shoes. Low professionalism score. In departing, he indicated that Ken would have a quote to me that night or the next day. As of this review, I have not received a quote or any further communication from this vendor. Low responsiveness score.

Unclogging the drain proved difficult, but Dave was persistent and got it open. He fully checked that the drain was functioning well by running the washer and running water in both the utility sink and kitchen drains. Dave was pleasent and very professional. Left everything clean and neat when his job was completed. Dave even remined us to use the Angie's List Coupon.

The work turned out to be good. We have used them for the past five years. I have the highest recommendation for this company. He has done a lot for us like replacing screen doors, new landscaping lights, new exterior lights, repairing windows and fixing ceilings. They are always on time and professional. They do what they are supposed to do and show up when they are supposed to show up and get the job done well.

It went well. They were neat, and did a good job.

Ken was very prompt, to both come for a walkthrough and provide an estimate, as well as schedule the work. There were also a couple items he looked at and suggested how I could fix it myself if I wanted to. Ken came the day the work started with two men, and after a walkthrough, both were very courteous and professional. Several times they consulted with me to ensure I was satisfied with the way the work was being done and explain how some of the problems were being fixed. I appreciated their thoroughness, and would readily rehire them.

First of all my ratings listed above is for "Home Experts" and not necessarily for the person who actually did the work. Ken Bennett was responsive in getting me quotes. He charges by the job rather than hourly, which I like. He was cordial and courteous on the phone. I emailed him a list of things I needed done and he emailed quotes back to me. A representative arrived on the agreed upon day for completing the above tasks and was very punctual--in fact he was early. I did not know that anyone other than Ken was going to be doing the work; it would have been nice to know ahead of time. The very young man who arrived to do the work--Jordan--was a delight to work with. He had a great attitude, extremely polite, and diligent in his work. If I were to rate Jordan, I would give him an A for Excellent in all categories. He was courteous, hard-working and thorough and very customer-oriented. I would use him again in a heartbeat! His last task was to replace my kitchen sprayer next to the faucet, which was "free of charge" since they did all of the other work. The sprayer I bought apparently did not fit snugly enough and he could not get it to stop leaking whenever the water was on. He spent an hour or more trying to get it to stop leaking. When he couldn't, he said he would have to leave the hose dangling in my sink drain since it was now early evening and that Ken Bennett was going to come by the next morning to take care of it and also to give me a quote on a couple of other items I wanted done. (I do not fault Jordan with the sprayer not hooking up. He was frustrated and diligently tried to get it to work.) Thank you Jordan. Ken did not come by the next day nor the next nor have I heard from him. This would not have been an issue if it were not for the kitchen sprayer being left off and draining in the sink. Since then, I hired a plumber for something else, and ended up having him fix the sprayer. I am very disappointed that Ken didn't at least call regarding the unfinished item. Perhaps since he wasn't charging me for it, he felt it unnecessary? I expected at least a follow-up call, which would have been much more professional. I am a business woman by trade and I know how important timely follow-up is. I have indicated in this report that I would hire Home Experts again and I certainly would because I thought he was reasonably priced overall and because Jordan was such a delight to work with. Also, other than the sprayer, all other work was done satisfactorily as far as know (it was mostly all in the crawl space).

They started on Monday and it was all done on Wed. I was delighted - he said they'd start on that Monday and there were there about 8:30 - all done wed. afternoon.

Good price, they fit me into their schedule and finished the job quickly. Did an excellent job, and I'll use them again. The only minor negative is that the workers could do a little better job on their cleanup when they finished, but otherwise they did a very nice, quality job.

All of the projects went very well. Ken is excellent about providing a detailed estimate for each job and at letting us know when to expect his people to do the work. He is excellent as well about follow up after the work is completed. We have no hesitation at all in recommending Ken and his company for carpentry, window repair/replacement, and remodeling services. We have two additional projects on which Ken will be working in the coming months. We have had nothing but pleasant experiences with Ken and his team.

Ken Bennett was very prompt in e-mailing an estimate and in scheduling the job. Both he and his assistant Jordan were very professional and courteous to work with. The job was started and completed as promised and it looks great. I have been looking at the eye-sore for quite a while since I was having a difficult time finding a contractor who would do the job-- many others wanted to build a whole new shed instead of rebuilding and replacing the doors. I appreciated finding an honest contractor who assured me the rest of the shed was in good shape and indeed it was just the doors that needed to be replaced. I would most definately use this company again and highly recommend their work to others.

It went very well. They were very professional and cleaned up after finishing. There was a leak that couldn't be found but they came back twice to repair it and also went out of their way to find the right part. Everything is now finished. The bathroom was painted and they did an excellent job and cleaned up everything.

Ken Bennett is terrific. His company did some small repair for us in the past, but this was an all-day affair. Ken had one of his contracted workers do the work. Ken has a degree in engineering and can spot structural problems and come up with excellent solutions. I'm sure we will use Ken for other projects in the future. Areas that needed to be reinforced or repaired were done that day and the worker showed us pictures taken on his phone that let us see what the work looked like.

Ken was great and very responsive. We had an estimate very quickly after his first visit, and he was able to schedule the work to start within a week. After they had started, we found some extra repairs/painting that we wanted to have done, and Ken was able to get that completed as well. The work done looks great!

These guys were great. Ken actually called me back while on vacation. How many contractors do that? His crew were polite and cleaned up everything. Nice guys and they did a very nice job. Will definitely use them again

Home Experts were very punctual from estimate to completion. Did the whole job in 4 days. Very punctual and professional. Had to have them come back twice for "touch ups" on paint job in bathroom, but they did so immediately even coming in on a Saturday for a final finish. Very competitve pricing. Great work and will hire them again in a heartbeat.

They did an excellent job. We felt that the price was very reasonable. They were extremely personable and prompt.

Overall we were very happy with the quality of the work done. We thought the price was fair and the work was done in a timely manner.

My side garage3-2 door frame had rotted at the bottom due to ponding water and snow. Also the door itself was a minerall core door, and the bottom of the door was without the core filling. Hard to explain. They replaced the door,frame and threshold, and painted the door inside and out. Likewise a boad on my front porch had rotted at the bottom, and they replaced and painted it. They were prompt and professional. I would hire them again.

The project went very well. Mr. Bennett was excellent about keeping us informed (he had to order a new hinge for the door, and it was not readily available). The work was done as scheduled and for the price quoted in advance. The door works fine now. Although the work that Home Experts performed was much more complicated and took much more time than a previous attempt by another contractor to repair the door, the charge from Home Experts was only $5 more than that sought to be charged by the other contractor. We would not hesitate to use Home Experts again, and will call Home Experts first with any home repair issue that arises in the future. Mr. Bennett and his team were a pleasure to work with.

Mr. Bennett came at the called for time since his employee was stuck in traffic and wouldn't be able to be on time. I appreciated this. Either one or the other of us forgot to buy a new switch for the light so Mr. Bennett went to purchase this so his employee could get started on other work. The young man was very nice but it would have been good if he put shoe covers on his shoes as he went around and also did not lean the ladder against the walls without putting something to to pad the top. I think the fellow was young and didn't know to do this.White giving me an estimate Mr. Bennett thought we could get everything done before I had to leave, but hanging the pictures took longer than we anticipated so the young man ran out of time to do some other things I had wanted to have done. Everything except the pictures was done well. I think the price was reasonable for the work done.
