I had a great experience with Home Experts from beginning to end! Ken called me 30 minutes before he was due to arrive to let me know he was on his way. I met him at my home and he took a look at the projects. He emailed me with a quote that same night. We agreed on a start date and his guy came out promptly on Friday morning. His worker was professional, quick, and worked without me barely noticing he was in the house. Ken's worker was fast and finished two of the three projects in just that one visit. Ken emailed me that same day to follow up and let me know when they would be back out to finish the last of the projects. I have to say, Ken was the most responsive contractor I have ever dealt with. He was always quick to respond to voice messages or emails. His workers were just like him, on time, professional, and very efficient. I was so pleased with their work and would definitely contact Ken for any future projects!

This handyman was quite professional. He was good at answering questions and giving an estimate on the work to be done. He followed up with a detailed email stating what needed to be fixed with the quote. He was a friendly person as well.

I spent $1,600 for the job. They did a great job. I do not think they could have improved on anything. I will use them again in the future if required.

Ken Bennett and the repair men were very professional and pleasant to work with. His estimates were on target; the wok was done promptly and thoroughly.

We have not got the bill yet but I think it will be around $1200. The gentleman was very polite and introduced himself. He told me what he was going to do. It was extremely hot outside and left early on one day which was appropriate. They were very good about communicating via e-mail about when they were coming back to meet my schedule. I have one more project to do which I won’t be doing till fall. I did not have to buy anything and they did that for me. It was very convenient. Everything they did, I think they did it very nicely.

We called for an estimate, and Ken came out within a few days. He measured our space, and made sure he knew exactly what work I wanted done. The whole visit took less than an hour. He sent an estimate by email, and we set up an installation appointment for the following week. The installer was prompt, courteous and very professional. The entire install took about 4 hours, and the only assistance he needed from us was a space to plug in his work light. It was a great experience, and we would definitely use them again.

Home Experts is a wonderful company. Ken is the person who came to my house. He sent two workers out to see if they could fix squeaky floors in my kitchen which is laminate. They went into my crawlspace and worked extremely hard to lessen the squeaks without me having to rip up my floors. They actually went above and beyond to diagnose and attempt a fix. Although my floors are better, they could not eliminate all of the squeaky spots. No fault of their own. But because they did not entirely get rid of the squeaks, ken did not charge me a cent for the work that they did do. They hold themselves up to high standards. I have used them before in the past and I have been extremely satisfied with this company.

It didn't. They never contacted me when I tried to make an appointment to go over their estimate.

Ken was extremely prompt in returning phone calls, scheduling estimates, and getting the work done. They gave excellent service on this as well as other projects (kitchen countertop installation, dryer vent installation) and I will continue to call them when the need arises!

The owner, Ken Bennett, got in touch with me very quickly once I contacted him; he was pretty timely with that. Their prices were fair. I would probably use them again in the future.

Ken was very professional from start to finish. He's knowledgable, punctual and easy to communicate with. He was responsive over phone and email throughout the process. We had 9 specific small jobs completed following an initial home inspection while selling our home in Broadripple. Unfortunately, the contractor I have used in the past fell through close to the re-inspection date, leaving us with only 2 weeks to have the work performed. Ken was super nice when meeting me at the home on a Friday and walking through what needed to be done. The work began the following Wed (exactly one week from the re-inspection, which was 2 days prior to the scheduled closing). I stopped by the house on a couple occasions and met Ken's workers. They were nice and seemed to be doing the work according to plan. Several parts of the job were in the crawl space, which meant it was difficult for me to "check" the work. I asked Ken's worker if the open splices in the crawl were fixed, the radon perforated pipe was installed under the visqueen, and the mold was appropriately cleaned and sealed. I was told that the work was done properly. I was also concerned with the damage that was done to the master bath ceiling when installing the new ventless exhaust fan. Even at the end of the job, you could clearly see where the ceiling was cut out (looking worse than before, in my opinion). Following the re-inspection, I learned that the open splices in the crawl were not repaired, there was still active mold, there were questions from the inspector about the quality of the mold cleaning process, and the radon pipe was not installed under the visqueen barrier. We were clearly not happy with the work at this point. To Ken's credit, he very quickly addressed the re-inspection report and addressed ALL of these issues that very evening and the following day. However, the process was stressful, required conversations between Ken and the realtors (which again went very well) and the work was completed in time for closing, although not in time for a re-inspection. After getting Ken's quote for the work, I was a little shocked at the high costs for such minor repairs (I chose not to have some completed and did them myself). However, I rationalized the high prices since we were on a short timeline and needed high quality work done. Given the cost, I assumed the work would be done right the first time. In the end, the work did get completed and we had a successful closing. However, the experience was not ideal.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Mr Bennett also installed my microwave at no cost to me.

I called HomeExperts on Tuesday due to their excellent review on Angie's List. Ken answered the phone and was able to come out to give me an estimate on Wednesday. He scheduled the work for Thursday but was unable to come out due to the weather. They then came out on Friday and completed the jobs. Everything looks good.!

I called Mr. Bennett a few weeks before I needed the attic floored for extra storage. He agreed to come out and quote me a price for the decking and 2x4s as well as the purchase and installation of a new metal attic staircase. I asked for the 2x4s because we have original-to-the-house wiring that was pulled tightly over the joists, and I wanted to be able to easily remove/replace/add wiring without having to pull up the decking. That probably increased the costs right off the bat. Mr. Bennett agreed with my request, although he said he could do the decking without the extra 2x4s. Because of the price of the staircase purchase/installation as well as other work we needed done, I declined to have Home Experts install the staircase at this time. His two workers showed up promptly at the agreed upon starting time to install the 2x4s and decking and were there for just over two hours. They did a very good job considering that all the 4'x8' sheets of decking had to be cut prior to pulling them into the attic space.

We're pleased with the work that was done. We highly recommend Home Experts for handyman services and minor home repairs.
