Ken came promptly at the time agreed to discuss the work required. He returned later with a ladder to inspect the ridge vents on the roof and replace an end cap that had fallen out of one. He didn't charge for this work since he considered it minimal. Jason, a carpenter, came at the agreed time and replaced the lower sash that had rotted due to condensation inside a bathroom window. The completed work seems to be as good as new, or maybe better (one piece instead of glued composite). I was very happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the service. I will definitely use Home Experts again!

I used Ken Bennett. Considering everything that they did, I was happy with the price. I already had a sump pump but I was worried that it would fail and I can’t get to the basement and I haven’t got into the basement for 15 years. They put this back up and it has a battery and if the car goes out it starts pulling juice from the battery and runs. I had five basement windows that were broken and I knew about a couple and they found five. Some other people who had worked in the past had miscalculated when they were drilling a hole to re-route some electric wiring and they dug a hole in the basement step instead of the floor where they were supposed to, so Home Experts sealed the hole. That was it and that was a lot. I have used them a lot and I will call them now.

We've just moved into our home and even though I'm 75% unpacked, I still can't find all my tools required to do even simple home improvement jobs. We hired them to put up some curtain rods that were desperately needed in our kids rooms to block out the sun. We took advantage and had them do a couple more odd jobs that are difficult to get to with two preschoolers running around. Kent even helped ensure that the curtains were hung at the right level when I forgot to tell him I wanted to use rings. Professional and efficient.

Home Experts removed the window cornice board; removed paneling in the family room in one piece so it could be reused as this type of paneling can no longer be found due to the age of our home. They removed the water stained plywood in the area where the leak was apparent due to the water stain on the plywood; and had to cut a small area in the ceiling for better access. The entire copper pipe was removed and replaced with PVC, and reconnected with the basement pipe draining out to the sewer. New insulation and plywood was installed in and on the wall; mold was removed from a couple of small areas on the back of the paneling; ceiling drywall was repaired, taped and painted; drapes and cornice board were rehung. Repair was so expertly done that if I had not been here while it was being done, I would have never known any work had been done. My husband is not easily impressed, but we was very impressed with the job Home Experts had done. They were prompt, clean, thorough and took every precaution to cover other furniture while they were here working. I will DEFINITELY recommend this company and will use them again.

They have done an excellent job on everything. Mr. Bennet is extremely easy to work with. His crew is very professional, and very accommodating. He really goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied.

My phone call asking for a visit to estimate the cost was answered promptly. Ken Bennet was supposed to call me back with a suggested date and time for the estimate, but failed to do so. When several days had passed, I called again. A date was then set up and he kept the date and time, but the delay had made the estimate date and the repair date less satisfactory and more inconvenient for me. The repair was made and the job was done well. We were pleased with the final results.

They were great and we were actually looking at him to do another job for us as well.

Ken was prompt and courteous when meeting to discuss plans. He was flexible and met with us in the evenings and on the weekend when needed. He provided estimates as promised and started and completed work as expected.

We bought two hours of Handymen Service for $79.00 from an Angie's List e-mail. Ken Bennett called us back right away. We scheduled a day for one of his men to come out. On time, knowledgeable, professional, and made excellent recommendations for larger projects. We will definitely use them again. We are thrilled. Home Experts gets an A+ from this family.

They do a good job, although they do tend to be a little messy. They're always on time. They haven't charged me more than the estimate. They did me a favor on the painting, they came out separately for that and only charged me $145.00 to paint around the doors and windows and detached garage, which I feel like is a good deal.

This was a great 'Deal' because it resolved some irritating maintenance problems that I could never have tackled. 'Josh' was polite and creative in tackling each item. I was surprised at how quickly each maintenance problem was completed.

I purchased a two-hour deal so that I could get a light fixture replaced. Josh came and did the work so efficiently that he was also nice enough to measure and cut a board for shelves for me. I would totally recommend this company to others and I plan to work with them on other projects in the future.

He emailed me the quote when he said he would. The quote that he gave me covered everything we talked about. He didn't leave anything out. He was professional when he came out and did the estimate for us. There really wasn't any bad experience with the process. He showed up on time.

I was very pleased with their seivce and the price was very reasonable. They were very neat and efifiecnt and did the work and got out.

They are the only company who came very quickly and responded to my call very quickly. Everything about them was okay but they are little bit pricy.

Excellent. I could not be more happy with their professionalism, quality of work, and communication. I will definitely hire them again. This was a "smaller" job and I always worry that a contractor might not give it as much attention. Home Experts did not treat this like a small job; they were very impressive.

Excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Made every effort to not only repair damaged windows but also took steps to prevent further damage. Has agreed to re-survey in spring 2012 to confirm repairs made are showing no signs of damage; as well as survey other areas that may require work. Ken Bennett, owner, provided complete and accurate estimates. made money saving adjustments when alternate repair methods were found and explained all steps taken throughout their repair work.

Ken was extremely professional and kind. I selected another handyman service because Home Experts quoted almost twice the amount of 2 other estimates I had.

I called to get an estimate and Ken came to give me an estimate on some things I wanted to have done in the house. He was prompt in coming to give me an estimate. I asked for him to do the work. He arranged to have the work done 2 days later. He called the morning that the work was to be done and apologized but said he needed to re-schedule because one of his guys had called in. He said they could do the work the next day. I told him okay but I had really hoped to have the work done that day because I was having a small dinner party that evening. He called me back within 10 minutes to say that he had pulled someone off another job and he would come to do the work. So I was pleased that he worked hard to make it happen to get the job done that day. The gentleman that came to do the work was very polite and professional. He did an excellent job and asked repeatedly if I was happy with the work and if there was anything else that I needed to have done. He replaced on interior door and painted it. He also shortened another interior door that kept rubbing on the carpet. I also had 4 decorative shelves hung and also a towel rack hung. I was very pleased with the job.

We had a good idea of what we wanted to do. Ken came out, took measurements., gave us some more ideas. He is a very nice man, that came across right away. He also clearly had a wealth of experience, that came across right away too. His price was not the highest nor the lowest - we felt that we would get a high quality remodel for a good price, and that is exactly what we got. Once nice thing about his company was that they could do it all - woodworking, electrical and tile work. Ken's team took down the existing mantle and tile surround. They did so in a very clean and quiet manner. They built the new mantle (and large framework for the TV) on site and cut and hung the slate tile around the fireplace. They painted the built in book shelves and cabinets immediately next to the fireplace. They also did the electrical work needed to hang the TV above the fireplace and hide the wires. Each one of employees was very good at what they did and were also very nice. The end result is just beautiful, a great addition to our home. We would use Home Experts again in a heartbeat.

On a Sunday night, I checked Angies List and found several handyman. I decided to go with HomeExperts. From Angies List I was able to click to HomeExperts and arond 8:30 PM, I e-mailed Ken Bennett from HomeExperts and explained my ceiling issue. I was impressed when, around 9:15 PM I got a response e-mail from Ken stating they could do the work. I was unable to get time off from work, so I e-mailed him a picture of my ceiling and from that he was able to determine what kind of ceiling I had. On Monday 10/3/2011 a handyman from HomeExperts came out and he was able to repair both the entry and living room ceilings damage. Had it been just the entry, I would have painted the ceiling myself, however, as the entire living room and dining room ceiling would need to be painted, I e-mailed Ken Bennett the same day and asked if I could get someone out to paint the entire ceiling. He personally called me within a few minutes of my e-mailing him and informed me he could have a painter come out on Tuesday morning. On Tuesday 10/4/2011 another gentleman from HomeExperts came out and painted both the entry and living and dining room ceilings. The entire ceiling looks great at this time and I would have no problem having them back if I have any further drywall damage.

They were professional and looks like they did a pretty good job. They were polite and professional. They left my place a little bit dirtier than I would have liked. Being disabled it's very difficult for me to clean up after them. They had a shop back so obviously she tried. I think they probably did their best.

I would highly recommend Home Experts. All individuals I worked with were pleasant and professional. They went out of their way to work around my schedule and around the other company needing to do work. They were very fair in their pricing and honest about what was needed and not needed.
