The deck is very solid and looks great. After the first part was built we asked if the stairs could be relocated, and they cheerfully agreed to do that even though it called for another trip to the lumber yard for another upright. They cleaned up very well after themselves, and even kindly hauled an item out to the front for us, for heavy trash pickup! We recommend sunscreen for them--it was a hot day and the shirtless one looked like a lobster at the end of the second day.

Called on a Saturday and received a prompt return phone call. They were able to make room for us in their schedule on Monday due to the safety concerns of our door not being able to lock. Monday they were late and we called to make sure they were not lost. It seems as though they had forgotten they were scheduled to come to our house. We gave the situation and our address again and they sent someone over about an hour later. This was okay as we were just happy to get it fixed. The repairs were made quickly and we were kept informed of our choices and what was being done. We were very pleased with the experience and will definitely use them again in the future for other small projects around the house!

I was in the process of selling our house. We did a pre-inspection for the house which uncovered a list of items (major and minor) for our 30+ year home. Home Experts was referred to use by our realtor. Ken came over and went through the inspection. We came to an agreement on which items to fix. He had his crew out within days. Over the next 4-5 weeks Ken's crew fixed all the items we agreed upon including others that I kept adding. Ken would price based on the job/services so we could see individual prices. He would respond via email, call or text. Ken and his guys were very professional. Ken went out if his way many of times for me (services and research). I have continued to use him for my new to me house. His pricing is very reasonable on most services and you can work with him in the others. We ended up selling our house in the first day it went on the market.

They were pretty expensive. They charge extra money on weekends.

Sent Ken an e-mail for a quote on Easter Sunday and he responded within a few hours. Came out a few days later to review my "to do" list with me and sent his quote when he told me he would do so (which seems to be rare these days). He kept me informed of the work schedule and completed the project timely and professionally. I am very pleased with the experience.

They are excellent and I will be using them again. They are very professional, on time, and they give you an estimate beforehand. Their work is very good and complete. They are very nice to work with. They have good prices and are very up front about their pricing.

One of our gutters sagged under the weight of last big snow storm Purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for two hours of handyman service. Called home experts for an appointment. Man arrived on time and replaced the missing hangers.

He was very professional, did a great job and informative.

They showed up when they were scheduled to do the work and completed it in the time frame they told us. We were satisfied with the quality of work and the way the floor looked once completed. Since this was the first wood flooring we have had installed, Ken was vary helpful in giving us suggestions on the installations. Rather than putting molding down between the where the carpet meets the wood flooring, he suggested having the carpet tucked next to the wood floor therefor eliminating a trip hazard. When I found out I couldn't return the unused boxes of flooring, I was able to schedule them out to install the extra wood in another room at my convenience.

Overall,very pleased with work. My bathroom exhaust fan is quieter and now I don't have smug marks all over my cabinets

We called home experts for them to come out to give us an estimate for a window leak. No one was here at the appointment time so we called and Ken said he was running late. It was disappointing that he didn't call us to let us know he was running late. We scheduled for them to fix our window on April 4th at 9 am. No one showed up and we didn't receive a phone call. We called and left a message with Ken. We didn't hear back for 6 hours. Horrible customer service. Very unprofessional. Will not be using them again.

They have a good customer service. The service provider is friendly, and he explains everything that he is going to do. He performs his service thoroughly.

The experience went pretty well. They were able to get me scheduled with in a day or so of my phone call. The person that did the work completed the list of repairs. He hung the changed out the light fixture but was unable to install the switches because they were double pole switches. That was not unreasonable as he was not an electrician. There was some miscommunication on what I wanted done on my roof so the roof repair I wanted him to complete was not done. That roof repair was the main reason I called. I called the worker and explained that the repair I wanted done was not addressed. They came back out and took care of it at no additional charge which I greatly appreciated. I would use there services again.

It went very well. We wound up having them back to our house a few times after. Very courteous, cleaned up after themselves and were very professional.

A neighbor ran into and completed broke our mailbox post down with his car on a snowy day. I contacted Home experts by phone for a estimate for intalling a new mailbox post. The insurance company needed an estimate. Home experts came out in one day and told me the estimated and sceduled the install. They installed the new post and re-attached the mailbox. The post is now in concrete and looks good.

Service was terrific, timely, and very appreciated. They are on my short list of contractors for work like this based upon this experience.

Fully trustworthy and reasonable. Ken and his team did all of the work quick and could not have been better quality. I wish I had found Home Experts long ago. Give Ken a call and have a true professional do a top notch job! If there was an A+ rating I would have given Ken A+ across the board!

Home Experts rep. came to the house on time and did a thorough inspection of the house. Checked under the sinks tub surrounds, in the crawl space and attic. He found 2 small areas of mold. One in the attic and one in the crawl. He explained how they would remediate the mold and left an estimate. In my opinion, the estimate was very high ($6K+), but it would be done the right way. If I had larger areas of mold, I would definitely have them back to do this work. I have chosen to do the work myself to save money.

They did a decent job on these simple tasks. They said they would come back and paint the molding, but I never saw them do it. The storm door wasn't closing on my front door, so they said they would give me an estimate, but the never got back to me on that.

Did not start out well. Ken forgot the appt and asked to move appt to later in the day and they were still late. However, when it was determined there was space issues going up the stairs, Ken suggested a good solution. The work was done a few days later (his employee was still late by 45 min and I had to call). The work was done well and the end result was exactly what we hoped for. We appreciated Ken's willingness to devise a workable plan. He only charged for the work completed. He did not charge for the failed attempt (which again was a space issue, not his fault).

I had talked to the owner the previous wk about the job on the phone. I was not told that he would not being the job. He asked me what time and I stated 8:30 am. The worker came at 9:00 am. The worker was very good at doing his job and got it completed in 2 hrs.

We again engaged Home Experts this winter on two projects--winterizing the house and repairing a sump pump outlet. Both projects were started and completed timely, and Ken Bennett continues to provide the personal touch that makes all the difference. We are in very good hands with Home Experts, and we will continue to contact Ken about issues at our house.

Did a great job of repairing minor things around my house for example nailing down some boards on my roof and installing locks on my screen doors.Was very pleased with the work.

At first meeting, Ken (the owner) seemed like a good honest guy. I was very happy when his crew started and seemed to get right on the job. It wasn't long after starting however, that they stopped showing up, leaving work unfinished, etc. In addition, the quality of the work was very poor. Despite being a "general contractor", Ken never showed up to project manage the work. I repeatedly had to call him back to have work finished, or at the very least, re-done. After many attempts at this, especially because his team's lack of finishing the projects, I eventually had to finish much of this myself so I could just get it done. And no, there was never money subtracted from the bill for this. To further prove Ken never inspected or project managed his team's work, he would repeatedly bill us for work that wasn't even done yet. This error, among others, resulted in over-billing, and us overpaying for the work. It took several months and threatening of an attorney to get some of the money back. Ultimately, he did not pay us back as much as was owed, but we gave up after a while. Although very angry with this situation, my goal here isn't necessarily to damage Home Expert's reputation, but really to save trouble, money, time, and heartache for future potential customers. There are plenty of other choices out there. Please save yourself the struggle here and don't choose Home Experts.

I called and used their advertised discount without any problem. The repair person showed up on time and went right to work. It took just over 2 hours to put in the cat door and I'm very happy with the result. The repair person was very knowledgeable and did a great job.
