Kent was right on time and had the job done in a few hours. Very seamless process.

It was good. Once you get it schedule, they are good.

The provider was prompt to come to the property for the estimate, and did show up on time to do the work. Which was to finish the construction of a small wall area, install the drywall, and install the door trim. This is at a property I do not frequent. He called me that night to say the work was done, so I took his word, and paid him the next day. $640 for the amount of work needed seemed really high, but I had to have it done so I let him proceed. When I got back to this property a few days later, I saw that the door trim was not installed. I called the provider, but he did not answer so I left a message, which he never returned my call. I am exceptionally dissatisfied with this provider. Based on his very high cost, not completing the work, and not returning my call I will never use again.

The owner was prompt and courteous. They texted me with details for the job. They gave me an original estimate and they also stuck to that budget. There was a slight issue with the toilet but the company came right back and fixed the issue. I would use them again and recommend them to other.

Our downspout fell over due to ice trapped inside- half of it was on the ground. I called Ken and he happened to be in our neighborhood today- he came by took a look and said he could fit us in later in the afternoon. About 2 hours later- they were back to fix it! WOW- that is super service. We were lucky he was in the neighborhood, but I'm sure he would have responded within a day or two if he was not. Our outside dryer vent cage came unscrewed and was on the ground. He fixed that as well since we do not have the tools to drill into the brick. Ken you and your team are awesome!

Home Experts arrived when promised, went to work removing old counter top and disconnected plumbing. Found a defective water shut off under the sink and replaced the defective parts. Home Experts returned the next morning at the time promised and reconnected the plumbing which included installing a new faucet and garbage disposal. After the work was complete the team cleaned up leaving no work on our part. Thank you Home Experts!

It went fine. They did a good job. There were a couple of things which I liked. One was the flexibility when I purchased it. I had to postpone it for a while because of what was going on. They were very flexible and really understanding. The guy showed up on time when we resolved that. I liked the clarity of service. He said what he was gonna do exactly and how he was going to do it which was good. The price which I had asked was for 2 hours but it was done for 3 hours. Whatever the price was, they honored the offer by Angie's List. It is the second time I am using them. They had a fair price. It was the best price that was why I took it in. They were good but I still want to leave some scope for improvement. Responsiveness was very good. The owner of the company was very good. They were professional in scheduling and everything. The owner was professional. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Bob arrived perfectly on time, and went to the job. He was really great, tested our light switches to identify which switch the light would connect to vs the fan etc. Would definitely use them again!

I think it was okay. I'm trying to remember back. I think the one thing about that experience was that I didn't get all the time that I thought that I would. I don't know about the price. They didn't bring a tall ladder like they were supposed to so they had to leave during that time, go back, get the ladder and come back. Other than that, they were good. I would use them again in the future.

I sent them a message on Dec24th for a request for an estimate for a repair job on our ceiling in our dinning room. I did not expect to get a reply right away since it was Xmas eve. On Dec25th to my surprise I had gotten an email stating that they were closed on Dec25 because it was xmas but someone would get a hold of me that following weekend after xmas. To this date I have yet to hear anything from them. I have since gone with a different provider for the work.

The fix alot of my odds and ends that I needed done in the house. Loved their work and will use again.

They arrived within the appointment schedule. They seemed to be a little surprised that one of the downspouts needed to be reworked due to the deck that was built. This was stated in the work needed in SnapFix. I wasn't very impressed with the work completed. It looked thrown together. The reason I had someone else do it was because I didn't have the time. My mistake.

This project had it's ups and downs- no pun intended! It started with me taking a picture of the corner roof on our home. This was the second year that birds had made a nest behind the gutter and it looked like the wood was rotting below. I was so excited to submit the picture through the SnapFix app, that I neglected to specify which corner/gutter needed work. Meanwhile, Ken scheduled time to complete the project and said we didn't even need to be home- which was very convenient for us! He later sent us an invoice, which was more than the estimated price of the project. He explained the additional costs, which made sense- and we had a feeling it'd be difficult to give an exact cost for a project based on a picture- but I do wish he had let us know while doing the job, to make sure it was something we could still afford. Before paying the invoice, I checked out the job and was surprised to see that it was not done. We called Ken and it turns out they performed work on the wrong gutter. I should have been more specific in my request or they could have called me the day of to confirm the gutter. Regardless, Ken never showed an ounce of frustration- only an eagerness to complete the job satisfactory. He had someone on his team return to our property within a week. They were polite and did an extremely good job. Ken even followed up to make sure everything was completed correctly. We will definitely use Home Experts again!

Ken Bennett and Home Experts installed PVC trim over a cedar rail for us in late July. The concept was good, but the execution was poor. Instead of using a single piece of PVC trim on the longest run (16?),Home Experts used two shorter pieces spliced together. Additionally, Home Experts used PVC trim that was not solid ? this trim is less expensive, but less stable than the solid type. In a matter of days, the two pieces started separating. The gap in the spliced joint had expanded to ½? in a week. We contacted Ken and he sent someone out to add caulk to the joint. This did not solve the problem and the gap continued to widen. It became obvious that the long run with the spliced joint needed to be replaced by a single piece of PVC. On Sept 1st, we asked Ken if he could replace the long run with one solid piece of trim. We even offered to pay for the material. Ken checked into material options and didn?t have a firm response to us by mid-October. We finally decided to hire another firm to fix the problem before the weather turned cold. This firm replaced the long run with the bad joint and a shorter run that was severely warping. They used a one-piece solid material (Azek) and the results have been good. Ken finally responded to us on Oct 24th and we informed him that a second firm had been hired. He apologized and told us he would send a refund check of $150. Consistent with our experience thus far with Home Experts, the refund check has not yet arrived (today?s date is Nov 28th).) We cannot in good conscience recommend Home Experts to others.

The repair looks great. Very happy with the service and will call the next time we need a handyman.

Ken came to my business and was very professional. However, he said he would provide an estimate within 2 days - over the weekend, and I never heard back from him. It's been a several weeks since he's been to my location. It's frustrating. I will be using someone else.

Wonderful! I am so happy with the work! The handyman was friendly and efficient. I thought the work would take several hours but he was done in 2.5 hours. I will definitely use them for all future handyman needs and couldn't recommend them more highly. I live in a converted factory space, so the ceilings are roughly 20 feet or so, and I didn't think anyone could hang our curtains. The ceilings are high, but also, since it's a converted factory, there's an exposed air duct / AC pipe that's right in front of the window. It's a tight squeeze getting in between that pipe and the window to hang curtains, and it's also really difficult to put a ladder in a safe space because it ends up butting into the AC pipe. He managed to do it and do it well! We also had folding closet doors that had fallen off their railing. Home Experts brought the part and installed it for us and the doors look great! I think they're even sturdier too, they did a better install than whoever did it the first time. (They were installed before we owned the house.) I don't know anything about parts or repair, so it was worth it to me to pay them to bring us the right parts for the doors. Plus, the price for the part and the labor was totally reasonable. Also, I wanted hooks on a wall that doesn't have a stud, and he got that done too.

I contacted Ken and we did a walk through of the bathroom to be remodeled. I then emailed copies of the items he would be installing, such as the sink and tub that we purchased from a showroom in Cincinnati. He assured me that his men could complete the job. He started 4 days after the original agreed upon date that he said he would be here at 8:30 a.m. I know, that should have been the huge red flag for me, but we had been without a toilet, tub and sink for 4 weeks. That is how the job continued for 2 months. There were 2 different occasions of no call/no shows. The man that put in the sub-floor was swearing the whole time. (I don't think he liked working on an old house.) I had ONE REQUEST with all of his subs.... that they close the gate to my yard every time they went through it so that my 2 10 pound dogs did not escape. (We began this in September and it was beautiful weather for them to be out when they needed to potty) I got a phone call at work from Ken saying that my dogs had gotten out and were running the neighborhood. I live on a busy street so I left work immediately to go get them. They had captured my pups by the time I got home... no apology or anything. When the tub was to be installed, the plumber said we had the wrong faucet. I had the company OVERNIGHT the correct faucet parts. Even though the plumber said he would come the next day, (the faucet parts were here at 10:00 a.m.) he didn't show. When I called Ken to ask where the plumber was, Ken told me that the plumber had told my son he wouldn't be there until the following day. Ken's lack of communication is unbelievable. If I didn't call him or text him, I heard nothing, except the occasional email. He emailed me one Sunday night to tell me that they had to install a door at another job and wouldn't return until Tuesday. So when the plumber returned he spent two days telling me that he couldn't figure out how to install the claw foot tub with a faucet and shower. I spent hours on the phone (at home and at work) with the company that I purchased the tub from to get directions on how to piece the faucet together. I printed directions. I made an appt. with a plumber on the phone from the company that we bought from to help Ken's plumber. I ordered two more sets of parts and OVERNIGHTED them again because his plumber said we were missing parts. Finally, out of sheer frustration I put the faucet together myself in about 15 minutes. Ken said that I was blaming him for the constant delays and that I should purchase the right faucet. He whined to my husband that his plumber told him I was impossible to deal with, and that they were done and I could pay him the balance in full that day. This was a Thursday. On Monday a new plumber came in, tore out tiles and subfloor where Ken's plumber had installed pipes incorrectly (which Ken continues to lie about and says the job was done right.) He re-worked the pipes, replaced the subfloor, had the tub and shower working perfectly b Tuesday. I also now have $300 worth of unused parts that I never needed, paid the additional freight for, and that I have to re-box and send back to get a refund. Of course Ken's plumber took all of the parts out so I have no idea how they go back together. The plumber that finished the job actually asked us if we paid this guy. Which brings me to Ken's insistent demands that we pay him for the last stage of the project in full or he would put a lien on our house. He certainly communicated with us then. I told him that we would pay for the work, but that we needed to know what the second plumber would charge us to undo Ken's mistakes. We would need to deduct that charge from the bill that we had already paid Ken in full for. Ken threatened us again, and says there was nothing done wrong. He is completely dishonest because even HIS OWN plumber removed freshly laid tile to move pipes before he quit, and he admitted he had measured incorrectly to my husband. I had to ask for invoices for each payment. He would send an email that listed sink, toilet and tub install and total due. His subs were dirty, with dirty boots tromping through the house. Only the dry waller wiped the floor with a towel when he brought in muddy water on rainy days. The only reason I can give Home Experts an F is because there isn't a worse grade to give. They were anything but expert, and couldn't even install a sink properly (leaving 2 exposed pipes after drywalling, blaming the dry waller, without offering to repair that either.) As previously stated, the tub install was an absolute disaster that his company and sub failed completely to do. This contractor is the epitome of unprofessionalism. He cut corners, made constant excuses, blamed us, and was incredibly rude. Think carefully at your own risk. If you have a good deal of time and money to waste, this is your guy.

They did a great job. This was an old fireplace mantel that had 3 different pieces. They first came out to assess the job and gave me a quote and scheduled me for the following week. The gentleman that showed up to do the work made sure that I was happy with the job and even caulked part of the mantel and made sure and cleaned up the mess he had made.

I don't remember the exact date I called Ken, but he said he would be out on the afternoon of September 30. He did not show, nor did he call. I guess the job was too small for him, but it would have been nice if he was honest about that from the beginning and just told me he wasn't interested. I would have been OK with that.

Estimate was detailed and complete. Arrived on site as scheduled. All work was performed as expected and they repaired several additional areas at no additional cost. Work was done very well.

One man did all the work. He did real good. Prompt.

Everything was great. Very responsive. Ken was able to come take a look at the issues about 3 hours after I first called him. 3 days later, he had a crew out to the house and fixed all of the issues. Ken even came out to the house the afternoon the day the work was being performed to make sure everything was going smoothly which I thought was very professional. We'll be giving him a call again for any other future home improvement projects.

Toilet install: replaced the cracked flange & reinstalled a toilet. Kitchen painting: repainted entire kitchen and dining room. Wall repair / roof repair: Damaged wall due to water. Demo'd wall and replaced studs / drywall after mold remediation.

I liked everything. They were very professional, they got it all done in one day and it looks great. They showed up on time and they do a good job.
