Description of Work: Fantastic service.....Super professional. I was super impressed. The owner came to my house to look at the problem. He was willing to work the day after Thanksgiving to fix the issue except I was not available that day. When the service guy came to fix the switched lights and the plumbing issue, he was quick and clean. I always appreciate it when I am offered an explanation. Both the owner and the service guy gave me a super simple explanation that a 5 year old could have understood. I JOINED ANGIE'S LIST TO FIND COMPANIES LIKE THIS ONE. Description of Work: First of all, it was difficult to get in touch with Mr. Bennett. He didn't respond to my voice messages. I finally got in touch with him and made an appointment for an estimate following an in-house visit. Mr. Bennet said he would call 1/2 hour before the visit but just showed up. I showed him the work that needed to be done and he promised to send a written estimate by email 2 days later. Mr. Bennett not only did not send an estimate but also didn't return my calls since I wanted to know if he was still planning on submitting an estimate. I have since spoken to two other providers and will decide on one of them. Mr. Bennet not only wasted my time (I took time off work to be at home that day) but was very unprofessional.

Description of Work: He repaired a drain and fixed the flashing on the roof between the shingles and the siding.

Description of Work: Ken used subs for the work done here. A gentleman came to fix my wooden storm door handle and closing mechanism. He replaced the handle with the same lame handle we previously had and it didn't work either. I had to call numerous times to have the handle fixed, finally Ken fixed it himself. As for the closing mechanism, nothing was done--the door slams every time. We wanted the deck re-stained and sealed. Ken didn't know what kind of stain to use--wanted to put a semi-transparent stain on a solid cedar deck. We wanted a transparent stain and he couldn't seem to find one. He said the deck had to be power washed so he had a sub power wash the deck, he tore into a lot of wood, making it rough and it had to be sanded (we hired someone else after the power washing) before it could be stained and sealed. My husband was very upset about the power washing, he let Ken know. Afterwards Ken basically fired us as clients--didn't charge for the power wash nor did he charge for the concrete crack driveway fix. My husband is pretty picky. That being said, I felt like Ken was not awfully organized--instead of having all the work done at once he would send several people at different times. The work on the deck was a disaster! I couldn't believe he didn't know what a transparent stain was and wanted to use a semi-transparent instead. The difference is HUGE.

Description of Work: Contacted Home Experts because we needed a dryer vent installed in our basement. Ken came to our house within a day or two of our conversation, was early (thank you!), and emailed a quote to us within 24 hours. We then scheduled the repair for the next day. Jason was on time and did a great job on the dryer vent. After dealing with other contractors that weren't returning phone calls, this was a breath of fresh air - Thanks!!
