After college I had a few jobs in retail and insurance sales until eventually I ended up in telecommunications, installing radios on towers. It was the middle of January. I was 100+ feet in the air installing an antenna, repeatedly removing my gloves to finger tighten the parts and then immediately putting them back on to avoid frostbite. I hated that job.
