They answered the phone so kindly and came a few hours later. They even called to let me know they were on their way. Upon arrival Mike pointed out the spring was broken. We talked through the options, he completed the work and honored my Angie's List coupon. What a wonderful first time experience with Hamilton Garage Door!

Description of Work: a cable on our garage door came off and we needed a new opener too. I called him up at 11:00 AM. I could barely hear him due to the noise around me and he suggested I call him back. I said, call my wife cause shes at home anyway and can work out the schedule. So he did.

+ -1 moreI had called Duane (Owner) to schedule an appt as I was experiencing what seemed to sporadic issues with the door opening and closing. Duane was very responsive given the fact it was over the July 4th holiday. I was thinking needed to completely replace the unit. Mike L came out early on Monday morning and after a quick assessment- it was determined that the sensors were not in line with each other! argghh- what an embarrassment on my part! Short story is that this was an example of an honest assessment of what could have been an expensive job. Since Mike (tech) was already at my place, he went ahead and did a checkup of everything. Integrity is what earned my business in all my future needs. I will be recommending this company to all of my friends!

They told me that I really needed an electrician for the issue that I was having. That was very nice. I would certainly call them again. They came out very quickly.

Description of Work: My garage door wasn't working properly. Hamilton Garage Door first suggested I try something on my own to see if it would work. It didn't but I appreciated they were willing to help me with a suggestion rather than just making a service call. They came out the next morning, re-wired my garage door and performed a tune-up for what I thought was a very reasonable price.

+ -1 moreChristmas weekend one of my springs broke, and I called around to find a company that would come out to replace the pair for a reasonable price. Due to the holidays, some companies were closed, or taking a break. I called Hamilton Garage Doors, and they came out pretty quick. Their price was reasonable, and the technician was very friendly. He installed the springs, checked the door, made sure the door components were properly lubed, and even gave me some maintenance pointers. They were a pleasure to work with- I would recommend them, and will use them for any garage door needs I have in the future.

Upon inspection he informed me he could easily repair the door saving me hundreds of dollars. Very honest, prompt service, and the workmanship was great! The communication was excellent, the repair was excellent and the timeliness was excellent. I will definitely use them in the future and I highly recommend this company to others.

Description of Work: If anyone is in need of service for your garage doors, I highly recommend Hamilton Garage Door. I called and talked to Duane yesterday morning because our garage door would not go up and down and he said they could come out that afternoon. This door has caused us problems before and even after it was fixed by another company previously, we started having the same problems again. Mike and Mike replaced the hinges and the cables on our door and didn't leave until they were satisfied that our garage door was finally going to work correctly. Everyone we dealt with was polite and professional. Mike took the time to explain everything to us he had done to make it go up and down smoothly. The cost was very reasonable compared to the previous company we used. We will always call them from now on for any garage door needs.

After I gave the rep our address he said there was a slight chance they still could make it on this day. At 5:45 pm they called and said they could be at my house in 15 minutes. He arrived at 6, changed both springs, and was done at 6:30. He told me he was working since 7:30 that morning. He seemed like a very nice guy.
