I called asking for service that day but the person who answered thought that they were booked up for the day. I said thanks, but I needed to get it done that day. He then double checked their schedule and said they could get me in by the end of the day. They called back a couple of hours later, came, fixed the spring and had our garage door working by lunch time. It was great!

When rating a company where I have no knowledge of the mechanisms I really am rating their customer service. My garage door wouldn't open and I could see a coil sticking up in the air. I went to Angie's list and saw Hamilton Garage Door and another company I had used several years ago. I called that company first and the phone rang at least 12 times before the answering machine picked up. Didn't leave message and called Hamilton. The phone answered in 3 rings and so I left a message. Mr. Keller called within an hour and we set up an appointment for the next day. He explained that his son, Mike, would be making the call and asked what time would work for me and they were able to accomodate me. Mike called when he was leaving the last job and wanted to know it would be convenient for him to come then [a little early and if it wasn't he would wait to come at appointment time]. He and his helper were extremely polite and professional and went right to work. After evaluation, he came in the house and told me what was wrong and how much it would cost...I said to go ahead and replace the spring. I had a couple of questions, which he answered in layman's terms. I would highly recommend Hamilton.

Went out to try to go to work & couldn't get the truck out because of the garage door. Called Hamilton Garage Doors & they came out within 2 hours to repair the door. They replaced a spring on that door. Then they went ahead & checked other doors for me. They lubed the springs & said my door are in good shape & should be ok for a long while. Advised to how I could lube them in the future. Very nice young man that came out. Thank you!

This was so easy! At 10:20 I tried to open my garage and it wouldn't open. I looked on Angie's List and was happy with the report I found on Hamilton Garage Door. Called them and described what happened; they said it sounded like a broken spring. They happened to be really nearby on another call, and they were at my house in about 5 minutes! They took one look and said it was in fact a broken spring. It's now 11:20 and they are gone and my garage door is working. Friendly guys, professional, efficient, and super fast! I would highly recommend them.

They diagnosed the problem with the garage door and provided the estimate to fix it over the phone when I initially called. They showed up when they said they would and the work was performed quickly. They also lubed the workings of our second garage door to make it quieter - without me even asking. Very pleased with their service.

It went very well. Mike and another young man arrived at my home at the appointed time. They were both very polite. They immedately went to work and completed the entire job in about 30 - 35 minutes. They tested the new springs, completely inspected that door and the other (single) door and lubricated all moving parts. I also received the 10% labor discount for being an Angie's List member. The overall price was slightly lower than two other quotes I obtained on the phone. I highly recommend Hamilton garage door.

Realized on Monday night that the garage door wasn't opening because of broken spring. We'd used Hamilton Garage Door in the past, and called them. Got scheduled for repair the following morning. But, they must not have come until mid-afternoon, because a message was left at our office that they couldn't get in since the garage door was locked. (Hello, the door won't open because the spring needs to be replaced!!) We'd made previous arrangements to have the service door unlocked, but the repair guy wasn't paying attention. Had to call the company and then the owner to notify them that they could get in through the service door. (The owner responded that he knew that, it was on our work order.) Anyway, they did repair the door, and all is well. We were at work the whole time, so their problem didn't really affect us.

I was impressed with the fact that they knew my door was covered under warranty and I have life time replacement of the springs. I think that that was impressive because a lot of companies wouldn't have bothered to tell me that and would be happy to make the money off of replacing the springs. He told me that the spring was under warranty and I just had to pay for the labor which I think was really great. They come when they promised. I just called them this morning and they came today so that I wasn't stuck for the weekend not getting in and out of the garage.

Called the company to schedule a service call to fixed our garage door. Their representative arrived within a hour and had the door functioning properly within 30 minutes. He was very polite and knowledgeable.

Excellent Experience. The owner came out to my house shortly after I called and carefully explained the options available to me. The door I chose had to be custom ordered and I was told it would take approximately two weeks. Sure enough, two weeks later I received a call and was told the door was in. We arranged for delivery and installation a couple of days later. Promptly, at the appointed time, the owner and the installers arrived. The installers were great -- very knowledgeable, very professional. I was extremely pleased with every aspect of the buying experience. Oh yes, I LOVE the new door!

Couldn't believe they would provide service so quickly and charged only for the service call. Also provided some honest advice about the other two garage door openers.

Called to schedule an appt but they walked me through simply resetting the codes over the phone which appears to have solved the problem. Very helpful and seem to have resolved my problem without any cost. I'm extriemly pleased with how they served me.

A little shaky on getting appointments set but the installation and product were great. Provided a range a of alternatives which was important because of an uneven opening and southwest facing door. Very happy with work done and would use them again.

Mike came out right on time and did a wonderful job. He hooked up the keyless entry and did it very professionally. I will recommend him to others and think that he is top-notch in the field. I did find him on Angie's List and was so very glad to find a great guy like him and his dad. Honest, forthright, professional, high integrity and much more. I feel I got more than my moneys worth. Many kudos to the company!

Very fast response, punctual, professional and friendly. They explained the problem / the solution and didn't try to up-sell any products/services. Very trustworthy, it was clear that they take pride in their work and its clear that their philosophy is to provide the best service to their customers NOW, knowing they they are laying the groundwork for future business based on quality, not on up-selling or forcing extra/ unneeded costs on the customer. I highly recommend them!

Wonderful service from start to finish. Arrived exactly when they said they would but came out even earlier to get my car out of the garage, going above and beyond. Very trustworthy. I knew I was getting a straight story from them regarding the work I needed done.

I called Hamilton Monday morning and fixed the garage door the next morning. It could have been Monday evening but I was not home when they arrived.
