Our garage door was dented and wouldn't close properly. Hamilton Garage Doors came out and aligned it properly and bolted an extra support on the door. They also adjusted both of our garage door openers while they were here. The door has worked properly since the repair. They only charged me a service call fee for all the work ($90).

Recently the spring on our garage door broke. Being new homeowners, we were afraid it would be costly and time consuming to replace. We called Hamilton Garage Door in the afternoon and they arrived the next morning - after a snowstorm. They repaired the door quickly. We asked about replacing the other door spring and rather than take advantage of us and get more money, they were honest and indicated they rarely have issues with small door springs. The price was reasonable for professional work. We will definitely use them again.

I called after hours on 12/18; Duane Keller returned my call early the next morning, service was performed ~10:00 am the same day. We have used Hamilton Garage Doors on numerous occasions at our home and on at least one rehab project at a home we were renovating for resale.

Very well. They were professional, able to schedule a repair on short notice, showed up on time, completed the job in about 30 minutes, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. They were knowledgeable and took time to answer all my questions. They also took pride in their work. I really like they are a family run business. I highly recommend them to others.

I have used Hamilton Garage doors on two different occasions and they were great both times. They came out to replace a broken garage door spring and again to adjust the garage door chain and fix the door. When I called to make the appointment, the owner answered and was able to get someone out the next business day. They called when they were on their way and came when they said they would. Our garage door spring broke over the weekend. I called on Sunday expecting to leave an answer but got Duane (the owner). We discussed replacing the spring but I knew that what I really needed to do was replace the door. We discussed the options and he recommended one that was very reasonable, and made no attempt to "upsell" to a more expensive door. They replaced the broken spring first thing Monday (at no charge since we had agreed to replace the door) and replaced the door on Thursday, even apologizing for not making it Wednesday due to unexpected issues with other jobs (they had said Wednesday or Thursday). In short... great communication, competitive prices, great service, easy to work with. I don't expect to have to call them again anytime soon but they would be first place I would call if I needed to.

Mike and his uncle,Tim, were able to squeeze me in on a very short notice to repair broken cables. They arrived on time if no early. They finished the work quickly and professionally. I was satisfied with the service and asked them to replace old noisy garage door opener next business day.

Josh came out to look at a rodent problem in my chimney chase. He identified the droppings as squirrel and chipmunk and quickly found the point of entry between the house and chimney chase. Gave some excellent tips on how to get rid of them. The problem rodents are now gone for good. I would definitely use them again. Ask for Josh, he's honest and knows what he's doing when it comes to rodent issues.

Our garage door spring broke overnight and I was surprised the next morning to discover our cars were trapped in the garage with no way to open the door. Called Hamilton Garage and they were courteous and quick. They told me exactly what their commitments were that morning and when they could be here. They arrived faster than anticipated (within and hour and a half) and had the new spring installed quickly and professionally. This is the 2nd time I've used them. First time was to install a new operator. Mike and his dad run a family business and do excellent and honest work at a great price. Highly recommend for any garage door needs!

They were great! Duane and son Mike showed up on time, did the repairs quickly and efficiently, and charged me a very reasonable amount for their services. They had to repair a supposedly lifetime repair job less than two years old done by Precision Doors and advised me to report their shoddy workmanship, which I have done. I will recommend Hamilton Garage Doors to everyone I know. This is a family owned company that cares about it's customers and about their quality of work. I called on a Monday morning and they were at my house that afternoon. They knew exactly how to fix my problem and explained it to me in a way that I completely understood. They had to get the metal pieces to connect my opener to the door so they came back the next day and completed the job. They were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. My door is fixed and works better than it did before. Great job!

My garage door stopped working. Mike came out within 2 hours and told me that the circuit board needed to be replaced which would be nearly as costly as replacing the entire unit. He could replace the opener with a quieter unit which had a keyless entry for $299. He also pointed out that a spring was broken on my other door and said that he would replace the spring and tune up the door for an additional $30. He did not have the unit on his truck and said he may be able to get it that day however as it was not imperative, I agreed that the next day would be fine. He came out the next morning and installed everything for a price of $329 which included tax. Everything went very smoothly and the new unit is much quieter than the old one. I felt that the price was very fair and the service was excellent. I would definitely use Hamilton Garage Door again.

The new garage door opener is quieter and requires less power . It was relatively inexpensive. We’ve used their service before to purchase our new-style garage door, which we have received many compliments on. Duane does a wonderful job. We would highly recommend their services to others.

This was my second time using them and I was happy both times. They came out even sooner than I was expecting which I was happy for. They were very nice and got the job done quickly.

My husband and I were sitting in our family room on 9/17/13 when we heard a strange thud. We checked the garage but didn't see anything amiss. The next morning we found out that the sound was our garage door breaking and we couldn't get out to go to work. We found Hamilton Garage Door Inc. on Angie's list and called immediately. They did have a first call already scheduled but said they would be at our house by 10:00 am. They arrived right around when they said they would and had our door fixed in less than 20 minutes. The only reason I didn't give them an A on price is I would have liked it to have cost less. Who wouldn't? I hope I won't have to use them again any time soon but I wouldn't hesitate to call them if I needed their services and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing Garage door repair.

We have used Hamilton Garage Doors for several decades. They have always been prompt, competitive, friendly and trustworthy. Their estimates are detailed and always match the final bill. No surprises ever. The old door came off the track and was not safe to repair. The replacement door was installed quickly and the old door, tracks and debris were hauled away. As always, very pleased.

I was unable to automatically open my garage door with the opener. I called them and described the problem, they told me they had a full schedule that day, but they'd call me back if they could get to me that day. They called and were at my home by early afternoon. They looked at the door, the chain and the springs and told me that the chain needed adjusting and that the springs were ready for regular maintenance. They did all that and cleaned up. Very pleased with promptness of service and value.

I called early in the morning; they were currently on the opposite side of town and told me they had 13 other jobs but would try to get to it today. 2.They called back around noon saying they were in the area and asked if it would be a good time to stop by. 3. They assessed the problem immediately showing me the broken sprocket. They told me the cost and with my approval they went to work immediately and the door was functioning again in about 25 minutes. 4. I have called them before and they're the first on the list for any future work.

Hamilton Garage Door made it to my house within an hour of my service call. They had my coil replaced and opener tuned up in under 30 minutes. I asked about replacing the old rubber weather strip seal at the bottom of the door. Mike told me there is only one place on the north side to buy it for my particular door. He gave me the business address, feet needed, and told me how to replace it with ease. You don't get many businesses that are will to make a service call and help you save some money.

Hamilton Garage was very prompt in fixing my broken garage door spring. I called them at 4:30 pm and they arrive at 9:30 am the next day to make the repairs as promised. Additionally, I had them replace a second spring as the technician advised that the two springs typically have the same lifespan on the same door. They also greased all of the other moving parts on the garage door and track for no additional cost.

Talked with Mike on the phone with the problem of the garage door not opening and closing at 9:15 am. He was out to house by 9:45am. Had problem fixed by 10am. Very pleasant and professional. Very reasonable cost.

They are wonderful. This is the third time we've used them on different doors. Each time they've come out the same day and took care of the problem promptly and for a reasonable price. We will definitely call them again.
