+ -1 moreWe shopped Griffon for material to cover our patio furniture. We found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful with our fabric selection. They cut samples for us to take home to determine which fabric would be best. After making a selection with their assistance, they ordered the material. Explained to us how long the process would take; etc. We took our patio furniture cushions to them which they recovered. Now we have a new patio furniture set at a fraction of new patio furniture cost. Thank you, Susan.

+ -1 moreThe company will not reuse cornice boards, so don't even try. They said it takes too long to remove the old fabric. It took me about 5 minutes to remove the old fabric myself - very easy to do. The price for the material that they quoted was almost double (including shipping and handling) of what I paid online. Along with and quot;materials and laborand quot; the estimate was around $880 for these two simple boards, not including installation. In the end, it took me about 45 minutes to re-cover the two boards myself, and cost around $120 total. I'm not that crafty - this was really easy to do. I can tell that Griffon does beautiful work, and they have lots of material to choose from. Just keep in mind the markup on the material may be around 50% more than you can find other places, and their labor costs are quite pricey. Overall, if money is no object, this company is probably a great choice. But if you are cost-conscious, you might be better off doing the work yourself, or looking around a bit more.
Description of Work: I had a few windows that I wanted simple treatments on. I asked for estimates. I already had the cornice boards - I just needed them recovered.
