Edge Guys

My air conditioner had stopped working and I called Edge Guys for service on the weekend. The tech was friendly and got it working again. The total cost was $500 for a blown capacitor. The AC stopped working the next morning. Upon opening the AC unit, the tech had used two capacitors rather than the original 60/10. I ordered a replacement from Amazon and fixed it the next day for $22. I contacted them for a partial refund, but it was denied. They stated they would have repaired the part under warranty, but I feel like you should fix something right the first time (especially at that price point). I would suggest looking elsewhere for service if you need it.

I trusted their services that's why I hired the company.

We were given a 4 hour window of when he would arrive and he arrived right at the beginning of the window after calling about 20 minutes before as a courtesy. He was knowledgeable and polite, gave me some great advice and answered some questions I had. I would hire again for HVAC needs.

It went great! Alan was very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Truly appreciate having Edge Guys help us on this issue which they resolved.

The technician who responded did an over-the-top excellent cleaning and testing of our home heating and AC, with emphasis on the AC due to the summer season. He killed and removed bee nests that he found. I watched while he literally climbed into the outside AC and washed and rinsed the cooling coils and picked up everything like leaves and debris that he found in there. The technicians who work for this company are salaried, and do not get any share of any heat/AC equipment that they install. This is unlike the previous HVAC companies I have used in the past. So, there was no pressure to buy something-- no questionable replacements needed or mentioned. We signed up for the twice-a-year checkups and used the first (AC) check-up.

Went well. Amaury was punctual, professional, pleasant--and tactful when he showed how changing the furnace filter had been neglected.

Provider needed to come out a 2nd time to fix a couple of scrapes on a wall near our furnace. Happy with the overall job. Would use them again.

Very prompt response and service. Amiable technician explained repair clearly. Price seemed on the high side, but no opportunity to compare given the immediacy of the need. Service consisted of a Turbo 200X Capacitor at $285 and a new 2pole 30 amp Contactor for $267. I did receive a discount of 10% on this and waiver of the service charge.

They installed the unit when the house was being built by the builder.

They did a good job. One person came out. It took about two hours. They cleaned up after they finished.

Very well, arrived on time, and were done in a reasonable amount of time. Two men were very organized- it was not their first "rodeo"!

They cured a problem that we have had since we purchased the home. We added on fairly large sun room that we have never been able to keep it cool and warm, and the zoning really helped that problem. We have been very pleased with them.

They did a really good job. The principal owner Jim Williams and his son run the Edge Guys. Their price is very competitive.

Edge Guys is the only HVAC company we trust. You must request Alan, their best Tech!

The estimate was free. The guy who came out was prompt and personable. I think he knew his stuff reasonably well. The pricing was pretty competitive with the other company. It was pretty close. They did not offer as good an overall warranty as the other company. Another thing too that I sort of kept track of was roughly how long each company's representative spent discussing the estimate and installation and the process and so on and so forth. The guy who came out for the Edge Guys was the shortest visit of the ones that I talked to by a fair amount. He spent about 15 minutes and the other guys took quite a bit longer. Didn't really spend a lot of time. He just came, looked, measured a little bit, wrote up an estimate and was on his way. I think the biggest thing would be being a bit more thorough and explaining and discussing the installation and how they would go about fitting things in and that sort of thing. They were quick and on time. The guy was fine. I think he had been doing things a while and knew what he was doing. I'd consider them in the quoting process again.

I don't remember how much it was, but it was not very expensive. I love these guys. They are the only ones I let near my HVAC system.

Everything went smoothly. Furnace works great. We'll be using the A/C once it warms up.

The blower motor noise was caused by a broken mounting bracket weld. The provider replaced the bracket and also sealed a condensation leak on another component. The technician was very knowledgeable. The furnace was given a yearly tune up. We also signed a service contract for two visits in 2016, one for A/C and the other for the furnace.

I was extremely impressed with the honesty and professionalism of Alan who came to look at our unit from Edge Guys. He explained to me exactly what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. I told him that another company had only offered us replacement of the unit, and Alan assured me it could be fixed. He was patient and understood that I needed to contact the other company, since I had a service agreement with them That company refused to fix the unit - instead refunded me the memberships I had paid a few weeks earlier as part of their maintenance program.. I had pretty much decided I was going to have Alan fix it anyway - no longer trusted or wanted to deal with the other company. I called Alan and he came back later that same day and fixed everything. Unit has been running great. I will use Edge Guys in the future and grateful there is still an honest company with integrety for my heating and cooling needs.

Our AC stopped working going into a very hot weekend so I was eager to get it fixed. I called a couple different companies and they couldn't come until Monday, but Edge was able to get someone there the next day which I really appreciated it. He came early (yes, early!) and quickly identified the problem. He was also a dog lover which was great. :) He brought in the part that had gone bad from our outside unit and explained to me what the problem was. He could have just told me and fixed it, but I liked that he took the time to explain it to me so I understood. He replaced the broken part and the AC was working again. Our house cooled down quickly. I would definitely use this company again. He was in and out in about an hour.
