+ 0 moreIt was a very good experience. He and the company had good attention to detail. The piece of furniture that he designed and built for me is really beautiful. I’m really happy. I would use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I used the services of Dye Woodworks on the 28th of February. He made a custom piece of furniture for me. He took out book shelves that were built in and repaired the wall and did all the wiring. He also repaired the floor and repainted so that everything would look good.

+ -1 moreREPRESENTATIVE CAME TO HOUSE TO DISCUSS KITCHEN REMODELING REQUEST. AFTER ONE MONTH DID NOT RECEIVE A WRITTEN QUOTE, SO FOLLOWED UP DIRECTLY WITH DYE MAIN OFFICE, BUT MY CALL WAS NEVER RETURNED. FINALLY LEARNED FROM ORIGINAL REPRESENTATIVE THAT HE HAD LEFT THE COMPANY, BUT TURNED ALL INFORMATION OVER TO OWNER - DOUG DYE. LEFT MANY MORE MESSAGES DURING FOLLOWING 6 WEEKS, BUT MY CALLS WERE NEVER RETURNED (NO ONE EVER ANSWERED THE MAIN TELEPHONE NUMBER -- ALWAYS A RECORDING). CLEARLY THE COMPANY IS NOT INTERESTED IN DOING WORK OR IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND WILL STEER OTHERS ALWAYS FROM THE COMPANY, AS WELL.
Description of Work: REMOVE KITCHEN CABINETS AND INSTALL BUILT-IN DESK AND SHELVES. BUILD WINDOW SEAT WITH UNDERNEATH STORAGE IN BAY WINDOW, $10,000.00.

+ -1 moreTHE CABINET AND DRAWER HE MADE WAS CARVED TO MATCH EXISTING CABINETS AND WAS VERY DETAILED. ALL WORK IS BEAUTIFULLY DONE. HE IS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL AND CAN TELL HE HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR SOME TIME. HIS CREW WERE CLEAN AND DID NOT MAKE A HUGE MESS. EVERYTHING WAS JUST PERFECT.
Description of Work: CUSTOM MADE SOME BOOKSHELVES AND BUILT AN ALL HARDWOOD BOOKSHELF IN KITCHEN, STAINED ALL TO MATCH PERFECT. (USED MAPLE WOOD). TOOK OUT A TRASH COMPACTOR AND COMPLETELY MADE A NEW CABINET AND DRAWER IN IT'S PLACE. YOU COULD NEVER TELL IT HAD BEEN THERE. TOOK A NEW AND UNUSED FRONT DOOR, COMPLETELY REFINISHED IT AND ADDED ANTIQUE HARDWARE WE HAD. HE ALSO INSTALLED THE DOOR.
