Description of Work: They fixed our old (>15 years) gas cooktop. The problem as we saw it was the sparker/igniter would not stop sparking. The fix required more work than expected, but it has worked very well in the year since their visit. This visit saved us the good bit of money if we had needed to buy and install a new cooktop.

Description of Work: The repair man removed a broken tub seal assembly and replaced it. He had a lot of trouble removing the broken part but he didn't give up and he replaced it. My washer is 12 years old and it works like a dream now!

Description of Work: My daughter's washing machine broke down and called the place from where she purchased it to have a repair. The repairman didn't show. I looked on Angie's list and called Duncan Appliance Service. The went to my daughter's house the next day. The man was very understanding and pleasant. A part had to be ordered and was received two days later. The repairman came the day after receiving the part and made the repair. Will definitely use this business service again, if and when needed! Great job!!!

Description of Work: They replaced gas igniters for four burners and cleaned oven door. It went very well. The service technician Tony was knowledgable, efficient and courteous. Also, arranging the appointment was extremely easy.

Description of Work: Our clothes dryer stopped working so I called Duncan Appliance. Tony showed up promptly at the appointed time and diagnosed the problem to be a bad control board. He contacted his supplier and found that a replacement board would cost $249. After hearing that, he examined the defective board and decided to try to solder it himself. His repair worked and we are now able to operate the dryer successfully, although one of the specialty cycles no longer works. This is not a problem and Tony's effort saved us $249. I was also impressed that both Tony and Duncan's office called later to make sure we were satisfied.
