I called two days ago and left a message. Kathy call back shortly after. She very patiently helped me find the appliance number and asked questions to see what the problem was. The service man arrived in the time frame. He was very professional, replaced the coil for a very reasonable price. I have used this company before and they have never disappointed me.

Very pleasant and competent service. Everything was left clean and tidy.

Duncan Appliance Repair fixed a microwave handle and light and a stove handle. I have used them several times in the past always with good results. They are able to provide estimates, obtain the right parts and save you money with a repair. They will also tell you if the repair isn't worth it and the item should be replaced. They just don't go ahead and make an expensive repair knowing the item won't last very long.

Duncan responded quickly, they were professional and I was pleased with the great personality and knowledge of the worker who came out.

I had to call twice to even get a call back on my initial service request in July. Tony came to look at my dishwasher, diagnosed the problem and said he would get the parts ordered then come back. I have no problems with Tony, he was very professional and he has been to my house before for service. About 3 1/2 weeks later, I called to see what was going on, and Cathy the receptionist said oh yes, she should have called me a couple of days before to let me know that the parts were on their way. A week later Cathy calls and says they still hadn't been shipped, could I call and try to get them to send them! I ended up googling Samsung parts, ordered the parts and received them in less than 1 week. I notified Duncan when I had received the parts, Cathy returned my call the next day, and scheduled the repair for the following Monday - yesterday. No one came to my house, no one called. I have now been without a working dishwasher for 2 months. I will not use this company again nor will I ever recommend them.

I described the problem on the phone and he was able to determine the problem and order the part. By identifying the problem over the phone it is obvious he is knowledgable and with that knowledge we did not have to take another day out of our schedule.

As stated above, it went very well. I would make more reports if it weren't so difficult to use your website, meaning Angies List. I love the service, but it is difficult to use.

Tony came out and look at the ice maker, and detained that it was a water issue. Very professional. Even gave me great info on a question about my washing machine, which was not part of the original call. Would use them again.

I have used their services for over 10 years for appliance service. I have always been very happy with their services and even sent bottles of wine home with Mr. Duncan. My icemaker recently stopped working and I have been trying to troubleshoot it myself. I called Duncan to see if they would come out and take a look at as it was acting similar to the problems that were repaired in May of 2011. They were busy at the time and advised they would call me back. When I did speak with them, Cathy, the receptionist, said they wouldn't accept my offer to hire them to check on the repair. She also told me that there are only two service men working and they don't have the time to come to my home and check out the repair. They told me it was just best to turn the ice maker off and just use ice cube trays instead.

They are very honest. They have excellent service.

They showed up on time and were able to install the tub assembly. The process was smooth and now our washer is quiet like the day it was delivered. They were professional and courteous. We were to sent another company from Maytag for warranty service. That company ordered the parts. When that other company quoted $360 to install the part, we shopped around and found Duncan. I would call them again if I need their services.

I was extremely pleased with this service call. My backup refrigerator was not cold although it was running. Since this wasn't a critical repair, a service call was scheduled for my convenience. Mr. Duncan arrived slightly later than our appointment but promptly got to work and fixed the problem. He was polite, patient in explaining the fundamentals of refrigerators to me and giving me the advice I need to address the problem myself if it reoccurs. I felt the price he charged was reasonable and I enthusiastically recommend Duncan Appliance Service.

Tony was very responsive to our problems, ordering parts we needed and then returning to install. We would have wasted money getting a new ice maker for a refrigerator when there was a side problem that caused our ice maker to ice up. Tony replaced the water controller and we were good to go. Also thought we had a leak in the washing machine tub when it turned out to be a bad hose. would definitely call them again. Kathy, who schedules the repairs, was good to work with on scheduling return visits to complete the service.

Have used Duncan on multiple occasions and the price is always resonable and they are extremely professional and do great work.

I contacted the company on a Monday. She said that the first available date was about 2 weeks in advance which I said was fine. She offered to let me know if they had a cancelation in the meantime. But I was fine with the date she originally gave me. The serviceman was supposed to be out between Noon and 4 p.m. He arrived about 2 p.m. I told him about the noise the machine was making. He listened to the machine running and said that it was the pump motor. He gave me an verbal estimate for the repair which I thought was reasonable (and better than shopping for a new dishwasher!) so I told him to go ahead and replace the motor. The repair took about 30 minutes. He was pleasant, explained the problem/repair to my satisfaction and he cleaned up the area, leaving the old motor for me to dispose of.

Mr. Duncan is very professional and polite. His office staff is great! They keep you informed of time of arrival and any changes. I would never use anyone else for my appliances.

Our three year old $1400 GE microwave/convection oven died. All the experts said it could not be fixed. They don't make the parts you need any more, they all said. Experts referred experts, those experts would not touch it. Throw it out and get a new one, they advised. I refused to give up... my wife wouldn't let me. Finally, I found Steve Duncan. He at least was willing to take a look at it for us. He opened it up, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, about a week later we were back in business. He even replaced some parts that had rusted out in our dishwasher for us. I will always call him first in the future and highly recommend him to everyone.

He is excellent, and that's why I stick with him. He has come to our house when we had a problem, and found that the appliance was not repairable, and he didn't even charge us the service charge. He is very upfront in terms of what needs to be done, whether it really should be repaired, or whether we would be better off buying a new appliance. I found him to be very trustworthy, and that's the main point when somebody is working in my house.

They didn't charge me anything for the service.

Just purchased a house and the washer was leaking. Tony came out right on time, he even called to let me know he was on his way, and got right to work. He knew immediately what the problem was, a faulty valve. Told me it would take a couple of days to get the part and he would be back.They were going to schedule me that week, but since we hadn't moved in yet, I let them know there was no hurry and we scheduled the following week.The following week when they were to come, I wasn't available, so I gave Tony the garage code, he came in, did his work, left me the faulty part and yahoo, the washer works no problem.Since I wasn't here to pay him, he emailed me the invoice and I called the office with my credit card. Couldn't ask for better service

I will use this company again and again. Used them last month for a washing machine repair.On Saturday, I realized my refrigerator was not keeping the food cold and the freezer items were thawing. I removed all the food and put it in my second refrigerator in the garage. I then unplugged the unit.I called on Monday morning and spoke to Kathy (Cathy) and she was very apologetic but the guys were booked solid for the entire week. She could put me on the schedule for sure the following Monday or I could take my chances as an "on call" if the guys got a chance to get here before. I took the chance of the on call. She did tell me to plug the refrigerator back in as the techs liked it running when they get here.Glad I did decided on the "on call". That very afternoon, I got a call from Tony saying he was in the neighborhood and could he stop by. I was not at home, but my husband was so he came in and started to work on the situation. He was sure it was going to be the compressor based on the type of refrigerator I have. However, the compressor had already been replaced. Fortunately or unfortunately, the refrigerator was working just fine when he got here. It cost me 88.00 for the service call, but he assured me that if it went out again, the 88.00 would still be used towards the repair.Tony is so nice, so is Kathy. If you need your appliance repaired, call them, you won't be sorry.

They were phenomenal! Their service is a throw-back to another era. They are committed, and they really care. Their prices are very fair. We are under $150 for 3 trips and at least 6 hours of service. It begins with Kathy at the office who takes the phone calls. Her follow-up is tremendous, and she gets personally involved. Good company! Tony, the repairman, had to come 3 times. He was very patient. It was a very hard-to-identify problem. Using the wrong detergent contibuted to the problem.

Steve was very prompt, courteous and professional. I am thrilled to have beed referred to him by Wolfe and will never miss calling Clarks appliance again! Steve will definately get all our future business, and I would highly recommend him without any hesitation to anyone else needing appliance services!

I called Duncan Appliance Repair around December 16 after reading the reviews on Angie's List. My dishwasher wouldn't start and I was worried that there could be something major that was wrong. The woman who answered was very knowledgeable and asked me for the model number of the appliance. Clueless me- she talked me through the procedure to find the information. When Mr. Duncan came to my home, he was prepared with his laptop and the information he needed for the specific model ( an unusual mini-size appliance) and its parts. He worked, made a call and was very apologetic that the part needed was not readily available in the warehouse, but he would try to get it in time to have my dishwasher working by Christmas. I was not hosting any holiday events, so told him not to worry about my repair as an urgent one. I received a call on December 20 telling me the part had come in and they would like to schedule me for its installation before the holiday. Again, I reassured them that my repair was not necessary for holiday entertainlng so we scheduled it for the following week. The repair was made as promised and all is well. I found the office staff to be professional, knowledgeable, and very considerate in trying to meet a holiday deadline. Mr. Duncan himself was friendly and efficient. I also appreciate that the invoice/receipt was emailed to me directly from his laptop. I will definelty call them again if I need large appliance repair!.

No problem, very professional and prepared as they had asked me for the model number, serial number of the dryer before he came out! They were right on time for the window they gave us and the repair was quick and no issues so far.
