Had problem with our washer. Called Duncan Appliance Service. They came out and inspected the washer and said it could not be repaired. He did not charge us for his time.

We are very happy as usual. We have used Duncan since they started business 20-25 years ago. They have NEVER let us down. When I called, they were booked for a solid week but managed to make it to our home by the end of the day! Tony was friendly, efficient, clean, etc. Tony listened to me and considered my information seriously. There were no lectures about regular maintanance and cleaning. He was totally respectful. He had what he needed in his truck. (I did do as they asked when I first called and gave them the model number and the age of the refrigerator. That's important.) Tony is exactly what we always want in a service person and feel so confident to have Duncan Appliance Repair in our phone book.

I have used them on more than one occasion. I find him to be honest, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Would highly recommend.

They did it all in a half an hour. Their price included for them to come out and look at it and it also included 30 minutes of labor time, but it didn't include parts. I didn't need any parts, so I just paid for the labor. He was excellent and he cleaned up everything.

It turned out cheaper than we thought. We were thinking we would have to buy a new washer. Tony was very nice and felt bad the first part wasn't the proper fix. He took care of everything in a timely manner and all is well again. Thanks Tony for being so persistent . Washer is not 2 years old until June. Never buy a washer with lock

When Steve returned my telephone call, he asked me to describe the problem over the phone and directed me to try a few functions with the door switch. He suggested it was likely the door switch and gave me an estimate to replace. On the day of the scheduled appointment, Steve was running a little late and missed the time window by 20 minutes. He apologized and worked quickly to remove the switch. He then discovered he did not have the replacement with and said he would need to come back later in the day with the replacement. In the meantime he wired the machine to by-pass the door switch so I could use the washer until he returned. He is very easy to work with, knowledgeable, and obviously knows his stuff.

Steve came out to take a look at the washer initially and determined right away that these 3 expensive parts needed to be replaced. He checked and all 3 were under warranty (even tho we've had the washer nearly 8 years!). Steve attempted to order the parts, but found out they were all on backorder for weeks! He then suggested that I try to contact the manufacturer directly, because customers often get a better response from the manufacturer! Sure enough, I order the parts that day and they arrived within a week. Steve and his associate came out and estimated it would take them 3 hours... it took only about 2 and the labor fee (which was all there was because parts were under warranty!) were less than the estimate! Thanks to Steve we not only saved about $700 in part fees, but got the parts delivered and installed about a month earlier than it would have taken thru normal channels!!

We called them and they came out several days later. He was quick doing the repair. Was very clean. Very fair and prompt.

Our refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling so Steve came out and diagnosed the problem. The compressor was bad so they ordered a new compressor. Tony came out and removed the old one and installed the new compressor. Everything went well. I have always had a very good experience working with Duncan Appliance.

Steve was fantastic. Showed up on time. Replaced the heating element on whirlpool dryer, looked a my garage fridge that wasn't cooling properly and gave me advice how to fix it myself (he even called in a part number to appliance parts store for me). He offered to come back if i had any problems doing it myself. He also indicated to me that I had a dryer venting problem that also needed attention and gave me the number of Randy at Safe-N-Clean dryer vents. I highly recommend Duncan appliance. Fair prices, professional, and will use again. It's a pleasure to support locally owned business with high quality service.

iHad called another company. He ordered a part but that did not fix the problem. Needed another part. Waited one week, was told he was ill. Waited another week, the part came but the box was opened, has a policy to never install a part from an opened box. Accepted that explanation. Waited another week, he was ill again -- of course, I telephoned, he never had the courtesy to call me to explain. Spoke with several people, they recommended Duncan. The repair person, who came to my house was very personable and took his time to explain what the situation was and how we could correct it.

I called them based on their ratings on AL. Kathy was quick to return my message I left after hours. she called the very next morning. She was honest enough to tell me that my problem was fiaxable...but that I would be better off just buying a new microwave. She didn't try to sell me on having the guys come out and install it, either. I will CERTAINLY use them in the future.

I have used Mr. Duncan in the past and was very pleased with his services so when my dryer died I called him. His first open appointment was about two weeks out but I was told that if possible he would come out earlier if his schedule opened up. I booked an appointment because of my past excellent service experience with him. About two days later I got a call from him saying if it was OK with me he could come out about 9 PM that evening to see if he could fix my problem. That worked great for me so i had him come out. It turned out that the complete repair would require him to order a replacement controller circuit card but he was able to get my dryer up and running in the interim. He ordered the card and came back on the originally scheduled day and replaced it. There was no payment required until he had completed all of the work. The dryer works great and we are very pleased with his work and professionalism.

He is very good. His prices are reasonable, comes as soon as he can and does a great job. I would recommend him to anyone.

I called for information first. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The guided me toward a possible warranty. All the warranty didn't pan out I thought that was very professional. They did come out to do the repair. All the indications were showing we should replace a part of the microwave. We found out it was just some wirings that were disconnected.

Prompt return of call, same day visit and had needed parts for washer with them. Fixed it and its worked great ever since. $90 seemed a little high for the fix. Otherwise top shelf service.

We were very happy with his work. He was very efficient and very reasonable. He was also helpful in giving some free advice on another appliance.

No oven, right before Thanksgiving. Not a great position to be in. Steve from Duncan Appliance came out to our place, diagnosed a difficult problem, was able to get the part we needed on order right away. He and Tony came out on Saturday, replaced the part and got our oven up and running again. They saved Thanksgiving! These folks did a great job and could not have been more professional. I very strongly recommend them. We picked them out and called based on other reviews on Angie's list and they are who we will call anytime in the future.
