+ -1 moreIt was a Big Deal and he was really good. He came out when he said he was going to and charged what he said he would. He did a really good job. We would call them back to do it again. We had more windows than what were in the deal and we paid an additional $90. He did a really good job. He was prompt. He didn't leave anything and I didn't have any problems. I didn't compare prices because it was a Big Deal.

+ -1 moreEverything went wonderfully. I am so excited as to how my windows look!! They never looked that good when I cleaned them and I am very particular. It would take my husband and myself and entire day or two to do what Dave did in 5 1/2 hrs and our cleaning doesn't hold a candle to what his cleaning looks like. Dave worked none stop from the minute he arrived until he left. We talked a lot when he was inside and he was very pleasant and professional. I really enjoyed talking to him. But like I said, he worked non stop. I was so impressed with the windows he cleaned the first day, I asked if he could do the remainer of my windows. He gave me a quote on the cost of the remainder of my windows and held true to that quote when he did my windows the next day. I would hire him anytime to do my windows and will definately recommend him to others.
Description of Work: I had 26 windows cleaned on the inside and outside and screens cleaned and the window sills as part of a special that was offered on line. I have never had my windows professionally cleaned before and this was something I have always wanted done. We have tons of windows in our home. Dave was super fast in his work ( 3hrs each day) and very pleasant to talk to. In fact, I was so impressed with how nice my windows looked the first day he was here ( the special deal I got on line from Angie's list),that I asked him if he would return the next day and clean the remainder of my windows. He gave me a 10% discount on the second project, saying I qualified as a repeat customer. Dave arrived on time, in fact, a few minutes early. He cleaned up after himself, and moved the furniture in front of the windows which was very helpful as I am physicially challenged to move heavy furniture. I would highly recommend him and would encourage people to follow his suggestions on cleaning the screens too, as it makes all the difference in the world in the way your windows will look. My windows are so clean, it almost like I don't have any windows, just the outdoors.

Description of Work: Oh my gosh! I am a very happy customer. I have Pella windows that are over 30 years old, he was familiar with the window and pointed out how they actually work. The job was much more that just cleaning windows, they had storm windows that needed taken apart, cleaned, and replaced. He did charge a extra charge for doing this, but, far less than what I expected. Tom has brought the outside indoors. The windows look so good. If I would have started this job, with the amount of work it entailed, I would never have completed it. He did the garage, basement, and of course, the house. Description of Work: Dave cleaned all of our 2nd story windows in a 100 year old home with the original windows and a slate tile roof. He had his hands full and his feet busy keeping a foothold on that tile roof! He did an exceptional job on the windows, which we could never have reached safely, and was quite personable as a bonus! He loved our dogs and was careful to not leave gates open where they could escape. He was not only punctual, but early. We bought the Angie's Deal for $89 for 26 panes of glass and threw a few additional storm windows into the mix for a total cost of $170.00, which we thought was quite fair for the service given.

When I saw the cupon for the big deal, I thought I'd give it a try. Dave went through the house and assessed the situation, gave me the price and got to work. I was thrilled. My windows have never been that clean. They were crystal clear. He was so neat and efficient and very professional. He finished much faster than I anticipated. As I told Dave, I will definitely be seeing him again. I could really get used to this.

Description of Work: Dave performed cleaning on the original quoted number of windows and then gave us a great deal to complete the windows that were in addition to the original quantity covered under the offer. I would definitely recommend Dave and use him again. Great job I could not believe how clean my windows were, I have never been able to get them as clean as Dave. I'm sorry I cannot remember the date, I believe it was in July. I dont have my personal calendar with me. I know he was here as expected.

+ -1 moreI bought the Big Deal from Dave's Window Cleaning service. Called right after my email confirmation from Angie's List in order to schedule an appointment. I was able to get an appointment within one week. [I had bought a previous Big Deal from Home Helpers and ran into several scheduling problems with this company.] Dave showed up promptly (a few minutes early, even) for his scheduled time. He was courteous and quick. My interior windows were pretty clean already but the exteriors were nasty from powerwash residue after we had our house's exterior painted earlier this spring. Dave was quick but thorough. He cleaned all windows in less than an hour. He was able to get some stubborn deck stain splatter off of the sliding patio door. He was courteous and professional. I will use this company again in the future.
Description of Work: Clean windows (interior and exterior) and screens for 26 casement windows + front patio swing door and back patio sliding door.

+ 0 moreThis was an acceptance of an Angie's list special, where I bought two houses in the deal because the special was for about half of the windows in our home. We have had windows cleaned before but not by Dave's, so I have experience in comparing providers. Dave set the appointment on my initial call, with a process was quick and friendly. They arrived on time, were very curteous and patient with the dogs. The windows have never gleamed so clean. After cleaning the screens they replaced them properly (something that was not done with my last window cleaning). The only small negative was that they did not completely shut nor lock 4 of the windows. Overall the best job ever!
Description of Work: Washed, inside and out, including screens (my entire house of windows) count 54 (which counts top and bottom of double hung as 2), plus two glass doors. Four of the windows were second story/cathedral windows.
