DAVE'S WINDOW CLEANING

We had a very positve experience with Dave. He was punctual, pleasant and professional. We were pleased with his work and the cost of his services.

We purchased a big deal from angie's list. They arrived within window of time indicated, and quickly cleaned the windows. They asked if I also wanted our sliding glass doors cleaned (for extra $) so I went ahead and got those done as well. They were pretty good overall, but seemed quite rushed and were not terribly thorough with my window sills and the tracks for the sliding glass doors. The glass itself was done very well and streak free. Overall, I would use them again, if they offered another discount.

He is wonderful. I used his $94 coupon special, then called him to come out for an estimate as I have different windows than in the special and more than the coupon guaranteed. I knew I would be charged more, but didn't know how much w/o Dave seeing the job. He came out promptly, looked at the windows and doors, and gave me an estimate which was very reasonable. I scheduled the job and asked him to use softened water from inside the house because what comes from the outside spigot is so hard it leaves marks. He agreed. He arrived on the day we scheduled around 2:30. I hadn't given him a specific time, because I was going to be home all day, so it didn't matter to me. He let me know he was here, got the water from the utility room and began washing. He had offered to wash the 2 skylights in the great room for the price he quoted me, since there were no screens to remove and wash. I asked him what he would charge to come inside and do the same 2 skylights as they are about 20 ft in the ceiling and I have no means to reach them. He also washed the other inside window on the side wall that is also 20 ft. high, all for the price he quoted. The windows and doors look great!. He worked alone and it took him about 1 1/2 hour to do 30 windows/doors. He really has it down to a fine science. Dave was very professional and cooperative. He knew I was in the middle of cancer chemotherapy, asked how I was doing and wished me luck to beat the disease. AND told me If I need anything, I should give him a call. A caring and very nice guy. I will use him again. He's got my business till the end.

As well or better than could be expected. We bought the Big Deal and then paid for the additional windows beyond those included in the work. Dave had one assistant with him. They were punctual, diligent, and detail oriented. We had no idea how truly dirty our windows were until Dave got them clean. We will certainly use his company again. Highly recommended, particularly because it is clear he takes great pride in his business.

We purchased coupons for window cleaning from Dave's Window Cleaning. I called Dave - he returned the call within a couple of hours. He set up a time to clean the windows a few weeks from the date I called. He and his co-worker showed up right on time and went right to work. In less than 3 hours they had cleaned and replaced all the screens and cleaned all the windows (inside and out). They were very professional and the windows looked amazing. Great job!

Dave did a good job of cleaning the windows. He did not return the blinds to the way they were before he cleaned as others have done. The Big Deal was for a certain number of windows and we had more than that so there was an additional charge. The price we paid was similiar to what we have paid before.

Dave arrived earlier than scheduled and comleted the job timely. He did an excellent job. A couple of my windows are very old and stained and he made them sparkle.

Dave was on time, professional & did a fabulous job. Second time he has been to our house & 2nd experience as excellent as the first. Would highly recommend.

$94. on the big deal, an extra $156 charged for double the amount a windows. A screen torn in the process. no one reported it to us and it was not fixed

I was very pleased with the quality of Dave's work. The windows shine and look better than they ever have! He was a delight to have around and was very generous in sharing tips and methods for washing windows, all while working steadily. My only concern was in the scheduling. I called Dave in the spring (in April) and followed up with a few more calls in an attempt to get an estimate. He did indicate that he was very busy and I agreed to wait until after Memorial Day For the estimate and work. Each time I called he remembered having spoken to me, but it was not until July and the running of your special that we were able to schedule our appointment. I think that Dave was worth the wait and suspect that my difficulty in scheduling was a rarity. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Both times have been a great experience. I plan to let Dave handle all my window washing going forward. He is punctual, professional, friendly, and tidy.

This was a terrible experience. I realize now besides not using this service provider, I will also avoid Big Deals, as it is probably new businesses trying to get a start, and I have been turned off this idea because of this experience. When I purchased the Big Deal, I told Dave that I realized it would only cover a small part of cleaning my windows, and I would pay him at his usual rate for the rest. I also told him I lived in an old house and that the job could be difficult, and that we did not expect him to do the impossible with windows that couldn't be opened. I asked him if he wanted to come and give me an estimate, which he declined to do, saying it was too time consuming to visit a customer twice. We started all of our planning in July, when the weather was unbearably hot. After one rescheduling because of a problem with his truck, Dave and a helper came on a Saturday, when it was close to 100 degrees. He tried to start the job, in spite of my reservations about his safety in the heat, but the windows were so swollen shut that he realized he wouldn't be able to get much done, and we re-scheduled, which I though was a wise decision. On the day that he did come, I was at work, but my husband and daughter were at home. He and his helper set to work, and quickly discovered how difficult it was to work on old windows. Within a short time, his helper had badly cut his hand. There was much loud exclamations, and after trying to work for a while longer they left to get care for the worker's cut. My daughter called me at work to tell me what had happened. They did return to my house, and finished the windows in the front room, but during that time they knocked over and broke an invaluable lamp. They told my husband that they had broken a light bulb. They called me, and told me that they would not be able to finish the rest of the house because it was too hard, and left. It is apparent that Dave has very little experience with old houses. I have no doubt that all of the good reviews of his work are true in the case of newer houses with ordinary windows, but he should have come and looked at my job for an estimate, and honestly said "I am not experienced with old houses, I don't think I can do this job". I would have commended him for realizing his limitations and being honest. He should have asked my daughter or husband to move any furniture that he didn't want to handle out of the way of his work. He should have been honest about the damage he had done. The broken lamp was a family heirloom, and it can only be partially repaired. The following week I was able to get the job done by another window washer who came and looked at my house, gave me an estimate, assured me he worked on older houses all the time, did the job with little fuss, and it was an overall excellent experience. If you have an older home, Dave is not the window washer for you.

Bought the coupon from Angie's Deals. First appointment resceduled due to our first rain of the summer. Rescheduled for today. Great job. Windows look great inside and out.

I had to reschedule several times due to other work being done on my house. Dave happily accommodated me, arrived promptly, and did a beautiful job on the windows.

I would recommend him to you to wash your windows and screems. Very professional onthe job.

Dave and his associate were very professional, efficient and friendly. They windows looked better than ever, so much so that we asked them if they could clean the doors and enclosed porch windows. Dave gave us a reasonable estimate for the added work. A couple screens were worn from weather; Dave gave us a recommendation on where to get them repaired. We were very pleased and would definitely recommend the window cleaning service. Don't put it off, you'll be amazed.

Dave and his helper called to see if it was OK if they arrived 30 minutes earlier than our appointment time, as he was running ahead that day. I appreciated that he called and I met them at my house. They were friendly, very efficient, and thorough. Did a great job and finished quickly. Reinstalled all screens, packed up their gear and departed. All went very well. Total time elapsed was just over an hour.

Dave did an excellent job. He is efficient and really knows how to clean windows without causing streaks. Something that takes me about three times as lond as it did him.

Timely, punctual, efficient, wonderful job from start to finish!
