Description of Work: There was a depression on the side of the driveway that was getting worse. John indicated they would need to dig down below the spot to determine the cause so it would't happen again (it already had beed repaired once, in 2003). The area was approx. 3' by 5'. I agreed to have it done and he promised to get it done that week. They arrived Friday afternoon with all the necessary equipment, excavated the area under the spot and discovered a tree stump that had not been completely removed when the house was built (1955) and was rotting away causing the surface under two layers of asphalt and a layer of gravel to settle, thus causing the proble. They removed the stump and filled the hole with asphalt to grade. They hauled away all the debris and cleaned up the area.
