Description of Work: This was one of the most positive experiences among contractors, with whom Angie's list interacts, that I have had. Very interactive in scheduling a weather-dependent driveway grading, which happened with extremely positive results. The front loader grading tractor operator was the hardest working, efficient and most congenial contractor I have ever worked with. The job required a full day, and to finish they came back the next day. Definitely will use again.

Description of Work: Could not get them to respond to inquiries. Was told they would come out and give an estimate on a Church parking lot and they never did the estimate. I called them at least 5 different times and they were very nice on the phone but did not do what they said they would do and I never got the estimate to consider whether to use them or not.

Description of Work: Cleaned and resealed asphalt driveway. Very neat, not a drip spilled ! Called a day in advance to make sure vehicles would be out of garage and called again, 15 minutes prior to arrival, to begin work.

Description of Work: Did not hire. We were wanting to redo our driveway, but something came up and we needed the money for something else. The price was higher than others but they were the most professional and made us feel like they really knew what they were doing, so in the future I will definitely consider contacting again! |

Description of Work: contacted Central Paving in the spring and Kathy came out and gave us a prompt estimate. We waited until August to initiate the project because we were gaing to be gone several times in the summer. We reinitiated contact in August saying we would be home and to go ahead and start the process for fixing the drive. Since then we have called several times always getting a comment like we will send someone out (no one came) or someone came, looked at the drive and left or someone came one time and said he needed a helper (never saw him again). We have probably had at least seven contacts with this company to get something going and nothing has ever happened. We finally received a call the first week in Oct. from the retired owner who said he would be in town next week (the week of the 6th) and we never heard a thing. I am sure we are small potatoes for them so we will go to someone who still keeps their word, shows up or calls.

Description of Work: I had contacted another company about installing a new driveway. Central Paving called me back. I got an estimate from them. They said I would have to get the driveway building permit. When I took the permit application to the City of Indps permit office, I was told that the contractor, not me, had to sign the application, and that Central Paving's license had expired in 2012. I tried to call them to clear these items up but only got a voicemail. I left a message and they never returned my call. I've had to look elsewhere.

Description of Work: Home driveway......part concrete work and part asphalt. Concrete work done and waited two weeks to dry, before finish with asphalt. They were skilled and worked fast, as if they really knew what they were doing!

Description of Work: The city of Indianapolis refused to repair my street. I hired this company due to the poor street condition after 35 years of living on the street. The company owner met me and gave a detailed quote of how the work would be done. The work crew showed up several hours later than stated/planned. Work crew said the owner did not know what he was talking about regarding how the work should be done. (owner was not present) Crew was not provided a description of the work to be performed by the owner. I had to give them a copy of the agreed upon work contract. Crew said they could not / would not do what the owner said they should do. Said they did not bring the right equipment. Work crew was not complimentary of the ownership. Called them incompetent. After several phone calls to the owner and his wife I agreed to the work as the crew wanted to do. Lesson - always be present when the work crew shows up otherwise you have no idea what would be done and if the amount charged is reasonable. I felt the crew was cutting corners vs. what the owner promised. I would use them again but only with caution.

Description of Work: They did a superb job. We have a drive that is over 5000 square feet which required a 2" cap of asphalt. They finished it in one afternoon and were very a careful with our front walk and garage doors. They did a wonderful job of leveling as well as grading so water runs off the drive. They were very professional and careful. We highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They came at 3:00pm and were finished at 5:15 pm . They were very professional, and did Agreat job. They put the asphalt thicker than called for in the eastmate. they left my yard and as clean as it was before they came. Iwould hihly reccomend them to anyone.

Description of Work: They graded and removed the old gravel drive, put down 3" of asphalt. This price included a separate job at a commercial property where they repaved a parking area. Resiedence was$ 4125.00 and commercial was $2700. All this was completed in one day.
