It was definitely a positive experience. They were very responsive and knowledgeable. The company did a great job with the driveway and it was just a pleasant experience all the way around.

They had done work in the past for me. I had them come back out because I had a good experience with them. Then I had them come out and give me an estimate and they paved more of my gravel and then they put in a sidewalk for me.

Central was in the neighborhood doing my next door neighbor's drive. I asked to them to quote mine. They said that they could give me special pricing because they were already in the neighborhood. They had my drive knocked out in about 3 hours. I was impressed.

They did a great job! They gave us a quote over a year ago and they still stuck with their original price even though material costs have gone up since we first contacted them. They worked quickly and the driveway looks great! We're very happy with the end product and we would highly recommend them.

Excellent work and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were in and out in 3 hours, left the jobsite clean, and I've received several positive comments from my neighbors around the high quality job that they did.

Central Paving was very responsive to my call for an estimate. Said they could do the job in the next few days and worked around my schedule to make sure I was home. Arrived on time for the job and dug out our old patio and poured a new step to the house and a stamped concrete patio. It looks AMAZING!!!!! I have gotten lots of comments from neighbors and friends on how great the patio turned out and now they want to do something similar.

I thought they were efficient. They got in and out pretty fast. Their quality of work was pretty good. I would hire them again in the future, and I would recommend them to others.

They were very prompt and professional. They had a very good attitude and I liked their price. They were very friendly to deal with. They also finished on time. The quality of the work was very satisfactory.

The job did not go well. The part of the drive where we wanted widened and extended was not done very well. It was not level and was would collect puddles when it rained. That area was very uneven and even looked like it was pulling away from the rest of the drive. We have made several attempts to contact Central Paving to come out and correct the problem and they kept putting us off. Finally, after finally nagging enough, someone finally came back out conveniently while we were not home and just made a huge mess out of that area. The tar was just slopped around and it looked like a 5 year old did it. They left the bucket and the brush for us to pick up. It appeared the person that came out was not intending to make the drive better, but purposely made it worse. At that point we decided not to bother calling them back out so we contracted with another paving company who did a great job fixing this mess. I would never Central Paving not only for poor quality, but unresponsiveness and poor professionalism. There price was reasonable but the quality was terrible and we felt we did not get what we paid for.

I thought they did a good job on the asphalt work. The concrete subcontractors made a mess of the yard and paved over the water meter cover. They did not fix that well. They really made a mess of the concrete work. The Carmel inspector said the work was acceptable, but I think they could have done a little better.

We agreed to the estimate. Then we had five scheduled times for the work be completed. On four of those five occasions, they never showed up and never called in advance. On one occasion, they did show up but could not complete the work due to other building materials being in the way. That was not their fault. However, the other four occasions was indeed their fault. We had to call them to find out why they didn't show and they always had a poor excuse. This went on for 6-7 weeks. Ended up calling another group to complete the group. ($1,750)

The driveway was a stone driveway. They had the stone removed by the time I arrived on site. They were very thorough although they didn't explain what they were doing to me at all. But it turned out great! It took them about 3 hours total to repave the driveway and looks way better. I recommend them to anyone. And plan to use them again on another rental property.

Called ahead to say they would arrive at 7 a.m. and arrived promptly to do the work. The driveway looks excellent. They gave detailed instructions about how long to wait before driving on it and to call if there were any problems with a promise to come check it immediately. Workers were professional and very pleasant. I will definitely call them in a year to come and seal it. They even filled a few holes out in the street that I never asked about.

THE QUOTE WAS REASONABLE. CATHY WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO MY MOTHER ABOUT HOW THE SEALING WOULD WORK USING A COMMERCIAL SEALANT COMPARED TO OUTSIDE HARDWARE BRANDS. THE PRICE WAS FAIR AND SHE WAS PROMPT FOR THE APPOINTMENT. THEY DID AN OVER SPRAY ON GRASS THE GRASS THAT IS WHY I AM GRADING THE QUALITY A B.

They did a good job. They were very receptive to any of my questions, and not defensive in any way! Very open! Their price was also about $100 cheaper than anyone else.

The work was completed on 5/22/06. The owner is very pleasant to deal with. The price, I felt, was very competitive. They came out as promised and finished the work as discussed. The work that was completed, was not to my satisfaction. It was promised that they would return to seal the driveway, at no charge and that has not yet been completed.

Kathy was very prompt in getting us a quote. We were able to schedule the work pretty quickly - within a week. Driveway looked very good after completion. Within a couple of days, it rained and there was an area that was pooling near the garage. A worker was sent out but unfortunately in fixing the problem he gouged a 2 foot line of surface scratches which looked horrible. Kathy verbally agreed to give us a substantial discount (half off) of the coating job that will need to be done next summer. Also, within 6-8 weeks of completion we noticed that by putting any weight at all on the driveway (i.e. bikes, lawn mowers, even a car) caused the asphalt to 'sink' - almost like it wasn't rolled compactly enough. This has not been addressed with Kathy but we will bring it up when we contact them to coat it next summer.

The workers arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner. The paving thickness is two inches average. The work is high quality.
