They did a great job. We had a drainage problem and they corrected it. I am very satisfied with the work.. They also promised us a free sealing next year because of a couple areas they could not compact. I thought that gesture was more than fair.

I love these people!. They were here right on time and finished quickly. They were quite professional, and they had that special connection to the customer. I stayed outside for the duration and talked to everyone. They were all knowledgeable and friendly. They explained everything to me as they were doing the job. They also cleaned everything up. I had three Angie's list A-rated companies come out to do estimates, and Central Paving was the lowest bid by quite a bit. I would highly recommend them to pave your drive. My house was built in 1920, and the drive was paved about 20 years ago. There was quite a bit of damage, but now it looks beautiful. I told them I'll recommend them to everyone; I'll definitely use them again.

Im suprised to see F's on here.. I thought Cathy and her crew were great - her too cute daughter was even around - its truly a great company. I was totally thrilled with the job but it was more my own fault... wished id gone out a little farther with the bump out but I cant blame her or them. In anycase, we are happy with what we got and the job.

Central Paving Llc. had a sub contract to do a patch on a driveway next to me and they did a good job. I talked with them. I called Ms Kathy who estimates to come out. She called one day early in the morning. I went and told my husband they were doing a job in the area and she was going to be out here. She rang the doorbell and said they had a break from something that they were doing, across the street. She went over what they were doing. She said if I did within the next half an hour, they would give break-in price. She gave me a price. It was $2000 higher than another service provider was. I said to her that I had another person come out, they had a contract, and if I decided to sign that I would consent and they were considerably less than her. She asked me how much it was less by and I told her. The next thing I knew, there came a truck with all their equipment driving up, she rang the doorbell again, and she said she would do it right now and would do it for that price. I told her that we would have to move things from the garage because we had a fifty one year old son who mowed some lawn in the neighborhood. We would need to do that stuff but right now I was not ready. She wondered about the other price, I showed her the contract price of the other service provider and she did not say anything. Basically what she was saying was the same thing the other provider was going to do except the other company had given me a contract and said if I decided to use them then I needed to sent it in anytime. Then she turned around and said she would do it for $4000 if I decided later on and wanted to do it. My feeling was it was the biggest hassle I had ever encountered. I knew they were considered a good company, I had read about them on Angie’s list but this happened to me and it was crammy. She asked me if I knew that the other provider sub contracted. Then I told her, she subcontracted the $1200 driveway patch next to me. So obviously even she used subcontractors. I told her I did not care if they subcontracted as long as they did a good job and as long as they guaranteed. It was just the whole thing that stunk I thought. In general, anybody who did that, I would not trust that company. I used the other company and I had asphalt revamped and they were $3800 but she quoted me $5800. I would say be sure and get more than one estimate while dealing with them. There was a huge difference. I did not tell her when she was here in the beginning that I already had a detailed estimate. So I walked out with her and she told me what they were going to do, it was the same thing that the other provider was going to do. I am not saying Central Paving did not do a good job but I would say get another estimate and have a contract. In terms of responsiveness, the first time they were going to come out, it rained. Then she called my husband out of the blue and said she was nearby and she could come by and give an estimate. I would not use their services again in the future. I would not recommend them. I do not need them. I found a different company. The fact that they were so much higher and the way, the manner there was nothing professional about it. It was like someone on the streets of New York offering hot deal.

Have called the office three times for estimates. Someone named Cathy came to estimate our project when we were not home and estimated the incorrect portion. I called back three times for a proper estimate. Was then asked to email photos of our drive which I did promptly. No word for three weeks. Called back and was told by the Cathy that the email was never received. Sent the same email again three weeks ago and still have no word on a proper estimate. Moving on.

We and our neighbors needed to get our driveways repaired/replaced. We talked about using the same company to see if we could get a discount for a single mobilization. Central Paving did give a discount for both doing the same day. The original intent was to only tear out the asphalt leading into the garage and where the driveway met the road and cover over the rest with a thinner layer. However, when they started removing the old, it came up so easily that they removed the whole section (there is a less used area to the side that wasn't as damaged) and put down fresh asphalt over the entire area. The only negative was that there was a delay in getting the job done. It was originally supposed to be done the end of May and we and our neighbors were put off for a larger job. The next several delays were weather related and I have no fault for those delays.

Had an estimate done SEVERAL weeks ago to pave our driveway. My husband took 2 days in total off work for the time they were supposed to have shown up to do the work. We repeatedly had to call them for an update (when they were supposed to call us)...to which we never got straight answers. A mix of city permits and weather has been the reasoning we are given....some of which I can give the benefit of the doubt for....however now that it has been almost 2 MONTHS - they did finally confirm about 2 weeks ago all is well and we were ready to go and they were again supposed to be out this past Tuesday 05/31/11 if the weather held (it was great outside) and we didn't so much as get a phone call.

They gave me a good esitmate for all the work to be done. We have a fairly long gravel drive that has been in use since 1929. The came out and graded and removed several tons of the old geavel. Had the entire job done in less than half a day. I actually thought something like this would have taken at least two days to complete. I also had a small commercial lot paved the same day by them.

My experience with them was very good. They were easy to work with and did a good job. They were prompt. They cleaned up after themselves. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

It went very well they called to let me know when they were on their way to my house, Kathy came first and we went over everything that John and I discussed she gave me some of her viewpoints about the driveway and said that they were about to get started. Then the calvery came in and all the guys that worked were very professional, friendly, explained everything and went on about their business. They even got some laughes off the kids playing football in the yard. I was very pleased with their services and I would definitely used them again.

Great - I contact company and John called me back the next day. He came out to do the estimate that day and left me a quote. I had a special issue with the apron off my garage and he worked with me to come up with two solutions and helped me to understand the choices of each. Once I decided to go with the company, he scheduled them to come out within the week. They arrived on time and Kathy and the workers walked through what needed to be done. I left to go to work and Kathy called me with a question that was easy to resolve. They left my garage door opener in a pre-arranged and safe location and I am home later that day to a beautiful new driveway! They did a great job and were so easy to work with. I am recommending them to a friend of mine who needs to have similar work done.

Central paving was redoing a driveway in my neighborhood and stopped by to ask if I'd like an estimate. They had additional material left and would be able to do the work the same day. The estimate was much less than one I'd received 2 years earlier. After researching this company on Angie's List I accepted their offer. They were efficient and except for a dead limb they knocked off of a tree they cleaned everything up. The drive looks a little rough but I was told to call if I had any problems or concerns.

I was completely satisfied with the workmanship. The entire job was completed while I was away at work during the day. I was particularly impressed with how clean the work site was after the install was complete. I was expecting crushed landscaping near the driveway and bits of asphalt all over. This was not at all the case. Barely a blade of grass seemed damaged and very little excess asphalt was found.

We think we found them on the list. We spent about $8000 because we have a big driveway. The job went great and they were wonderful. How quickly and neatly they got the job done was what stood out about them the most. They knew exactly what they were doing, finished the job quickly, cleaned up, and left. They were very, very good about grading the area, so that the drainage was perfect, which was really important for our place because we have a pretty complicated area. Their pricing was pretty consistent with everyone else.

It went very well. We had some confusion when the crew came out to do the work and they were very good at working thru a plan to make everyone happy. The crew actually left that day and had to come back. I think a company that works with you on a problem to a satisfactory result shows a company worth working with. We had an asphalt driveway and a concrete sidewalk replaced. We have been very happy with the job. I especially liked shoveling snow on a fresh smooth driveway, until the ice came. I felt that the crew and management had a goal to have the job done right just as much as we did.

Very well. The estimate and work were both performed on time and in a professional manner.

Contacted the company before Labor Day, and Kathy came out that same day to look at the driveway. We had a small retaining wall that was falling over, and a driveway in need of repair/replacement? Kathy was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable, and I was fully prepared to give her the job, if the price was in the range of other estimates. We were in no big rush, and the project got put on the back burner. Despite her assurance that I would have an estimate by the end of that week, it never came. When I contacted her about 8-10 weeks later, she said she had sent the estimate, but would send another. She did, I responded with some questions asking for some clarifications on the estimate, and I have not heard from her since. Since their estimate was substantially higher than any of the other estimates we received, and I refuse to chase after a company, we went with one of the other companies. Had they been willing to work with us on the price, I was leaning towards giving them the job.

The driveway was scheduled for Thursday aftenoon. Got a call from Cathy Wed. morning saying that they could do my drive that afternoon at about 3pm. The arrived early about 1:30 PM, Helped me move two dead cars off my gravel driveway. Began work at 2pm and was finnished by 4pm! Couldn't be happier! Drive looks great, crew was pleasant and friendly

They came on time, sealed all the cracks, sealed the drive, and it has been excellent!

I called three companies for estimates and Central had someone there in less than two hours. Based on estimates we had gotten a few years earlier, I knew the the estimate was fair, plus he said they would do it that afternoon. The crew showed up shortly afternoon and the job was complete around 6pm. They did all they said they would do, including clean up. The driveway looks great

They did a super job and it couldn't have gone better. The job turned out great and we are very please with them. We used them later to seal our driveway. We would recommend them.

On June 25, I received an offer from Central Paving of Indianapolis to remove and haul away the old asphalt as needed and lay 2 inches or so of new asphalt for $1925.00. A few days later, the salesman called and lowered the price to 1700.00 because the company was to be in the neighborhood on July 1. The salesman asked, if they could we do the project on July 1. I responded, yes. On July 1, Central Paving did a very good job in removing the old asphalt and layed new asphalt. At the end of the project, I issued the check for 1700.00. I was told by an employee to contact the company for any problems. On July 6, I used the step ladder on the new driveway and caused ladder indentations. I called the answering service. Mr. Pryde returned my call. I told him about the ladder indentations on the driveway. He stated that prior to my using the ladder, I should have placed a board on the driveway then put the ladder directly on the board. This would have eliminated the ladder indentations. Mr. Pryde also stated that he will wait until all driveway problems/issues were addressed before these items would be corrected. On July 27, I called the answering service to report cracks in the driveway. I called the answering service again on August 18 to see if someone could inspect the driveway. On August 19, I called the mobile number and left a message stating that we have cracks along both sides of the driveway. I have not received any more responses from Mr. Pryde as to when the driveway issues/problems will be resolved. My concern is that I do not want to wait anylonger to have these issues corrected before the Fall season.

Excellent, Dave and his team are top notch...the job came out better than expected and we are very pleased. They arrived promptly and finished before we expected, and did everything we were told they would do!

Job was well-done. Personnel were obviously experienced and capable. I did not completely understand what was to be done, thinking that the top layer of present asphalt would have to be removed before paving could be done, but the new pavement was installed over the top of the present surface (except at both ends of the driveway, as noted above). However, the result has been quite satisfactory.
