I was very pleased as they responded very promptly.

Contractor was late. Contractor arrived and doubled initial quote before doing any work. I am not sure what this is called, but it is very unethical. If you do not want to do the job, do not bid on it! Not only would I not recommend them, but because of their unprofessionalism I would highly recommend not even calling them for a bid. Their word cannot be trusted.

It was extremely busy time with lots of folks calling about burst pipes. We took an on call slot for them to repair a leak on the hot water line and fix a repeatedly clogged toilet. They guaranteed someone by the end of the day and they delivered! They even gave "what if" estimates over the phone - many companies won't even do this. The repairman (who I wish I could recall his name) was VERY professional and took time to explain our options with clear estimates up front. When he ran into difficulty clearing the toilet in place and realized it would have to be pulled, he explained the reason and price difference (which was very small in this case). Once he pulled the toilet, he quickly resolved the issue. He then moved to our leak which he quickly found and made the repair. I am usually wary of contractors but I would hire Bedell back in a heartbeat!

They had to re-route the pipes for me. I did have one problem when my water softener went on and the drainage hose disconnected and started spraying water in my laundry room. I managed to shut off the water, called Bedel and they sent someone out immediately to reconnect it. Apparently the person that was getting trained at the time didn't quite set it right the first time. But I felt very comfortable with them and will use them again. I also just recommended them to a friend and they said that Bedels quote for their work was way below other quotes they received and will use them.

Our previous water softener had a leak in the brine tank, which meant no soft water. After discussing the age of our softener, cost of tank replacement, etc., we elected to replace the softener. Bedell was able to have the equipment brought out and the work done that same day. We have used Bedell for a number of jobs in the last 4-5 years and they are always timely, professional, and competitively priced (although not always the cheapest)

Bedell had the yard marked immediately, they arrived very early in the -25 temps. I offered my house for warmth but they kept their truck running for warmth. Jason and his men worked tirelessly all day digging in the frozen ground. What was supposed to be a several hour fix turned out to be 2 days- through no fault of theirs. Sand from original installation 35 years ago had gotten into the pipe and caused a block. Instead of a repair, they actually installed everything new from the meter to the house. This required a second day to bring all new pipes etc. this took approximately 3 hours and it was as good as new. They did not change the original quote! We were afraid they would but stood by that amount. All the men were very personable. Jason was great and kept me informed of every detail. I even had his cell phone if I had questions. They worked in dangerous cold but cared that I had water and neighbors couldn't get up the drive due to ice lake in street. I would definitely call them for any plumbing.

When the temperature went above freezing, water sprayed everywhere. This happened at 6pm; so my husband turned off the water to the house, and we called Bedell. They were desperately busy but would have come that night if we had elected to pay double-time. Instead, we managed without water overnight. First thing the next day, their workman arrived to fix the pipe, test the repair, make a second repair (that was noticed by him but not by us), and turn on the water again.

I had used the Greenfield branch of this plumbing service twice before which excellent service and reasonable pricing. Therefore I called them first to resolve an issue of my newer Washing machine discharge overflowing more often than not on to the garage floor. The Service man was professional and came on time. After assessing the situation, I was informed the discharge pipe was too small for the discharge rate of the newer washing machine and also no longer met building codes. It would need to be upgraded to a 2" pipe to resolve the problem or alternatively, they could install a garage wash basin and direct the washing machine discharge to that which would then drain into my existing the piping. After consulting his home office he returned with two quotes. The quote for upgrading 70 feet of pipe was $1850 to $2500. The wash basin quote was a 10th that price. I pointed out (& a second plumber later confirmed) that the wash basin approach would never pass a home inspection should I decide to sell down the road. The Service man only restated it was the cheaper approach. I thanked him and let him know I would be seeking a second estimate. I checked Angie's list and called another A-rated plumber close to me, who provided a quote of $550 for replacing the pipe (with no knowledge of what the original quote was). This second plumber completed the job in a very professional and satisfactory manner.

It went great! In the Fall 2013, we needed a new hot water tank and we used Bedell for the first time. Then in January 2014 we needed a leaking shower and faucet fixed. Again, impressed with their timeliness, professionalism, and honest work. Tom did a great job and was done in less than two hours. Both times they put on footies over their shoes to keep our house clean, introduced themselves and always asked if we had any questions or concerns after their work was done. When the next time comes to call a plumber... I'm calling Bedell Plumbing! Thanks Jay, your guys are doing a great job!

Thanks to Jay and Tom, a potential water disaster turned into a quick, albeit temporary, fix. I plan on having Bedell do the permanent fix when ready.

Our pipe burst due to the cold weather we called the # listed which had a message to call another # in an emergency. We called the emergency # and a man answered we shared w him that we had a pipe burst and if he had availability to come out in the morning. All he said was "no" we asked again just to confirm and he just said "no". He had no other comments or other potential options just "no". I understand if he had no availability but could have asked us to explain what our issue was specifically so he could at least act like he cared or given us some other type if direction. Called another plumber who was very helpful and interested in getting our pipes and water turned back in

They are very responsive, professional, and courteous. They have completed many jobs over the years - including a bathroom remodel, water heater replacement, small leaks, toilet replacements, sink fixture updates.

They did an excellent job and staff was very helpful with answering any questions. Directional boring a little more expensive, but did not tear up yard. Only way to go for this repair

He was very punctual and professional. My disposal problem was promptly diagnosed. He have me 2 choices for horsepower for the new one, and explained the pros and cons. I made my choice and it was installed very quickly. After he did that, we discussed problems in my neighborhood with high water pressure. He measured mine and it was very high. He gave me an estimate and I chose to have them install a pressure regulation system. That was scheduled and completed quickly and with no problems.

It took a while for the plumber to fix it because I have an old house w/ old crawl space. He stuck with it until it was all good, the first time after he fixed it he found a leak and fixed it until it was right. He worked hard and I am thankful for the professional job that was done.

Bedell Plumbing was a pleasure to work with. I phoned them on 12/23 (non-emergency) and they were able to schedule the service call the next day. The technician (Travis) showed up early and could not have been more professional. The work was done efficiently and he seemed to take pride in his workmanship as he didn't cut any corners in an attempt to hurry up and get the job done and get out the door. He left the work area cleaned up, removed all the trash, and was willing to answer all my questions in a courteous manner. Next time I need the services of Bedell Plumbing I'll ask specifically for Travis to be sent out for the job. The invoice amount was very reasonable, they do not charge for travel time nor a service call, and readily accepted the Angie's List coupon. Glad I found them on Angie's List.

Work went very smoothly. They were quick to respond to my initial call. Work was completed in a timely manner. When our rep was done, he was careful in cleaning up after himself. I am very satisfied with my experience.

This work was done at my elderly mother's home; i went to check on her on the day we had so much rain and flooding, and discovered her basement had a lot of water on the floor, and the sump pump was not working. I used my Angies List I-phone app to find a plumber, and to my relief, a live person answered the phone at Bedell. I explained the problem and they said they could send someone within 2 hours, in spite of how busy they had been that day with all the rain. Tom arrived in about an hour and a half, checked out the situation and advised the sump pump needed to be replaced and told me the cost. I agreed and he got to work; in less than an hour he was finished and the price was what he had advised in advance. He was very courteous and professional. We were so happy to have this resolved so quickly, on such a bad day for flooding.

We woke up in the middle of the nigh to hear our sump pump alarm. My husband remembered that our plumbing company -- Bedell Plumbing -- offered a 24 phone line service. He called them and there was an easy fix to the problem that we had. The Bedell employee walked my husband through that and we got back to sleep. In the morning, Bedell called to check up and make sure that things were still okay. What great service!! There was no cost for the dial-in -- this saved us in the middle of the night!!

Original quote was 350. Eric brought another man in to help so I ended up having to pay him as well... ouch. However, they put a new gas line out to the gas grill, took out old vented logs and put in my new ones. Made sure everything was working good. So good I even ended up buying a water softener and they installed that same day. Gave me a 200. discount. Eric was wonderful.

Carmel, IN Inspector who came to look at room addition found that gas line installed within the past month was not to code. Gas lines need to be at least two inches away from existing plumbing lines.

Showed up on time. Immediately went to work and addressed problem. Had all the necessary supplies with him on truck. Replaced the pump and offered to supply salt for my water softener. Also repaired all of my sink pop-up stoppers.
