We had a very good experience with them. It started leaking during the weekends and they came on Monday morning. The quality of their work was very good.

Had a leaky tub faucet in the master bath. I had rebuilt it several times over the past year. Cheap Sayco faucet, the kind you find in doubles & apartments. Every time I rebuilt it with new stems & seats, a couple months would go by and the hot water side would start to leak again. Couldn't find any bur's on the pipe threads but the faucet washer that sits against the seat was always looking chewed up. Called a few plumbers to see about replacing it, not fixing it. This means cutting out the old pipe where the stems connect. I was surprised by how many of them didn't really take couple minutes to listen to what i have already done and wanted. Most of them wanted to come out to either inspect it or rebuild it. Others would not give me an over the phone estimate of the cost without seeing it. Which means they would end up coming out twice wasting time and money. This was frustrating to me. I am no expert plumber by any means but I know enough. Then I called Bedell Plumbing, I believe I spoke to Chris. Like a good mechanic, he listened to what I have already done and asked good questions. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone and set the appointment for the repair. The plumber he sent out was also very proficient. I believe his name was Tom. He was friendly, completed everything in a timely manner, and cleaned up when he was finished. Now the tub and shower looks great, has better water pressure, and NO LEAKS. I would definitely use them again in the future. Thanks

The service turned out well. They replaced the faucet without any issue and in a timely manner. I am pleased with the outcome of the service to this day. Scheduling was not an issue.

I was very satisfied. I felt it was a fair price. They not only fixed my sink drain, but they told me what I could do to prevent future flare ups and they were able to do the job in a reasonable amount of time. They were were punctual and they followed through.

The work was done well and they are efficient. They worked us in. Was kin of concerned about the price. They charge by the job, not by the hour.

I have used Bedell several times for residential and commercial plumbing needs in the past and have always appreciated their honesty and responsiveness. This job went very well. I called and talked to the owner (Jay Bedell) about replacing our 19 year old broken water heater. Jay spent a lot of time talking through different water heater options and answering my questions. He got a truck out to my house within an hour and 2 hours later I had a new water heater. The plumber (Mark) was very courteous and professional and took care in cleaning up after the job was complete.

After heavy rains in early April, noticed that sump pump was no longer working. Called several providers after an AL search and Bedell's were able to come out at short notice that afternoon. They arrived on time and after an initial assessment and check of a valve were then able to replace the pump with a good quality pump. Overall experience was positive and professional.

I called Jay at 8:30 a.m., and he informed me that he did not have any techs available, but he would call me immediately once he did. Around 9:30 a.m. he called me back and told me a tech was on the way. By 10:00 a.m., the tech had arrived. by 10:45 a.m., the tech had completed his work. For a medical facility, a toilet is important. So, the responsiveness of Jay and the tech were impressive. We were very appreciative of how quickly they took care of us. The tech did scratch the toilet, but that stuff happens.

Quick, efficient, knowledgable, pleasant.

I contacted the dispatch operator on Saturday morning. He gave me an estimate on the work and it was reasonable based on the research and some other estimates that I had already done. He then scheduled the install for Monday. The Technician called to let us know when he would arrive and he was punctual. The install went very well and the tech explained how the new heater worked, what the warranty was and the advantages of the new one. He spread drop cloths and kept the work are clean. The work was done very efficiently. All in all I was very satisfied with the service.

We called them in the morning and they came later in the afternoon. They did a very good job, were reasonably priced and cleaned up very well.

Travis did a great job as always. I recommend them highly to anybody.

Technician arrived right on time, introduced himself and assessed the work locations. He was extremely professional, taking care to cover shoes and put cloths down where working. He worked quietly and steadily for several hours and had all the parts and tools he needed on his truck. He showed me his work and tested the new shower controls with me present. I was very impressed with this expertise and work ethic. The new shower looks great!

Everything went well . they were on time the pumps have performed perfectly with all the rain.

Jason, Robert and Cody worked together to provide the services that we had requested. They were prompt, efficient, polite and mindful of our house as they went back and forth to the basement. They seemed to have a cordial working relationship among themselves, which contributed to a professional atmosphere. There seemed to be a minor glitch or two in their planned execution, but it did not impede their successful completion of the job. Bedell's price was excellent; other bids were twice their price and more. We were also confident about employing them because of their vast experience in the type of work we needed done. We hope that all of our plumbing holds for a long time; but if needed, we will definitely consider using Bedell again.

I had water pressure problems for several months. The young man from Bedell, who came to the house, quickly identified the problem and explained in detail the issues and bad news: my softener had failed several months ago and the plumbing pipes and fittings (aerators, showerheads, and toilet mechanisms) were contaminated with resin beads and dissolved resin. The fittings needed to be cleaned or replaced, and the pipes flushed, including draining the hot water heater... but only after replacing the water softener. Well, I rent the softener, and yes, it was close to 20 years old. So I had the softener company come and put in a new one, but in doing so they had to turn off the water supply and drain the water pipes. When refilled I then had lots of air in the pipes. I managed to purge the air from most of the pipes before Bedell came back. Good news is that it did not take long to clean out 4 floors of aerators, etc. The washing machine just needed a good cleaning of the intake filter, ditto the icebox water/ ice machine. The water heater was drained and filled with no problems. One toilet of 5 needed new innards. And it all took less time than was expected. Hurrah! Apparently it helped that I had an old house with large pipes and several key faucets on the main level that did not have aerators... so the bulk of the contamination came out before it got to more sensitive pipes! For once it paid to have an old house with large pipes. As was explained to me, new houses up north in Carmel have narrower pipes and had this happened in one of those houses, there would have been a problem for years, as the beads made their way out after repeated flushings. Clean house, clean pipes, and SOFT water! Hurrah!

This company is very prompt. I called around 9AM and they came out around 12:30PM the same day. They are very friendly and professional. I didn't think they were trying to take advantage of us. We will be using them for another service we need.

I actually heard about this company from my dad who is an Angies List user and has used Bedell in the past and recommended I used them. Glad I did!! I had a basement bathroom shower drain that was backed up. Too further complicate the situation my old home was build with a back flow valve in the line of this drain. I spoke to at least 6 different plumbing companies that said they could not help due to this back flow valve. Jay took the time to listen to my issue over the phone and asked me to send him a picture of the valve and ensured me that they could help. Justin, the technician, came out and worked on the valve and was able to see that part of my issue was that the back flow valve had broken. The entire time he worked he would regularly update me on what he had found, what the cost was looking like, and what options I may need to consider. He also answered all of my other questions on unrelated topics such as my severely out dated water softener. I would highly recommend this company and would like to commend Justin on his work.

Arrived on schedule, talked through what needed to be completed and went to work. Fast, clean and efficient. Very pleasant and completed everything well within an expected time frame. When the stove was delivered the gas line was in the way to get the stove all the way to the wall. We had discussed the possibility when the new line was installed. We did not have the size or location of the stove back to know exactly where to place the new line. We called and someone came out and changed the gas line at no additional charge. Great company to work with. We will call Bedell Plumbing again for any plumbing needs.

It went GREAT! So happy. I called this company and asked them for someone to come out and give me an estimate. They came out when they said they would and give us a free estimate on the work. Eric, the one who gave us the estimate was very nice and explained EVERYTHING. He asked us if we wanted to start any of the work today and I declined because I wanted to ask the family opinion on the matter first. The family agreed that the price was cheap and the work needed to be done the next week. I callled and had the appointment made. I made sure to ask for eric. When they arrived eric wasn't there and it was another younger guy who told me that eric was on his way and that eric was just getting the toilet and he was just there to assist. The assistant prepared areas while waiting on eric. Once he arrived the work began. Both of them were very nice and they made sure I was informed the whole way through. Only reason why I gave them a tad lower rating on quality and professionalism is because of two things. 1: the work on the tub wasn't as nice as I thought it would be and 2: eric was off and on the phone too often and spent more time talking to the assistant about random stuff then I would have liked. Still, I was happy with the work and they were informative as to why the work on the tub wouldn't be up to the standard that they originally said it would be. Which was nice. As for the on and off the phone thing, it did seem like a reasonable excuse so I just let it be. Overall I was happy and I will be hiring them again.

My rental house gas was turned off by the tenant who moved out and the pipes, toilets, appliances, water heater, etc, were frozen solid. In calling Bedell the afternoon I found this condition, they came out the very next day to begin work on the repairs. Jay, the owner, called every hour with an update (great communication) on the work and the costs which was so appreciated. They came back several times to fix new leaks that surfaced, which is something that can happen with frozen pipes. Bedell was incredibly responsive and very fair about prices considering a) it was an emergency b) I had no insurance coverage on this type of a loss (vacant property). Excellent service all around at a very fair price.

They worked for 2 solid days . They returned a second day to re-attempt flushing the rear bath shower which is where our water lines end and was "stubborn" and refusing to unclog. As they were doing the work, they pulled off the faucet aerators to show us where the resin was. We were instructed to periodically check the aerators to be sure they were not coated and certainly, alert them if water pressure suddenly seems to slow or stop.
