They scheduled us quickly to complete the job. The technician was super nice as well as professional. Even gave our son a lesson what he was doing why and how. He is very curious and he was so patient and kind with him. We have been very happy with them and have gone back a few more times to clean our tankless water heater as well as a busted pipe because we left the hose on when we had the first freeze. Plumber was very professional. He showed up on time and did work quickly and efficiently and left no mess. Also took extra time to ensure no further leak under our sink after replacing disposal.

Overall a great experience. Noticed a leak on Friday and called for an appointment. Had an appointment set for first thing Monday morning. Turned out to be an issue with water heater. Water Heater needed to be replaced. Mitch did a great job handling the replacement and dealing with issues that came up with the plumbing in our old home. We had hot water again Monday afternoon. Very professional from beginning to end.

The service was reasonably priced and he identified an unknown issue with our water for which they gave a fair quite for a solution. We will definitely be using them again to treat the issue.

The guys were very prompt in getting me an estimate and were able to do the work the next day which was really important to me. The crew arrived on time and had the necessary materials to do the work. The crew was very courteous and worked quickly. The thing that set them apart from others was they went above and beyond what was expected by fixing the drain another plumber had just installed after realizing it wasn’t up to code. He did this extra work for free and was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely hire them again.

The first plumber who was sent out wasn't able to deal with all of the water coming from the pipe and didn't complete the work. A more experience plumber was sent out two days later who was fully able to complete the work, but that left me with an extra two days of lots of water leaking from the pipe every time I needed to use my water supply. I'm still trying to get my basement dried out from the deluge.

I had no trouble remembering the names of the two plumbers who replaced my toilet because they were both named Mitch. Very professional. Had the replacement completed in about an hour. The bathroom was cleaner when they were done than when they started. Gave me estimates on some other plumbing projects I have been considering. I was very pleased with their work and their communication with me. I would certainly use them again.

We originally contacted Jay to have a spa/shower unit repaired. they did come out and because the unit was discontinued (it came with the house when we purchased last year) it was difficult to find parts. We completely understood this. We had to call and text multiple times to get any reply just to let us know they probably wouldn't be able to get parts. At every step of the process, we had continuously hound them to get any type of reply. Jay said they have a construction division, so we decided to go ahead and just replace/remodel the bathroom instead. Jay promised us on multiple occasions he would "call us in the morning and send someone out", but each time, we heard nothing. If they were too busy for our business, I understand that too. We repeatedly asked for them to be honest with us and if they were unable to get to us, we would be happy to call other service providers. Each time, we were assured they would be there the next day. We have now not had a working master bath/shower for over 2 weeks. I understand the remodel process isn't super quick as it is, but now I have to start all over with someone else and go even longer without a working master bath.

Great! After months of debate about our very old water softener, and weeks of thinking about water softeners (and the very small space available), we threw up our hands and called Bedell—who had been previously successful with our plumbing needs)—and they were great! The very next morning, 8 a.m., we had both the plumber and his apprentice (a young woman, yay! Because in some 40 years of home ownership, we think she was the 3rd). Anyway, within a few hours, in spite of messy weather, they removed the non working unit, and installed a new...and we have been happy and delighted every day since. Not surprised—as previous customers, we know they really stand behind their work.

SO impressed. Over the years, thought about replacing the main water shutoff valve as well as washing machine's hot and cold water shutoff valves. But others warned the valves could break during the process because the house wasn't plumbed for a water softener and is 35-years-old. But the licensed plumber was meticulous and nothing broke. Whew! What a luxury to have these in working order in case of emergency. ~ Repeat Customer

Contacted them at the very beginning of April, quotes and estimates on April 5th, spigot/softener installation on the 9th. It started off good; they were really responsive and got someone out to estimate the water softener rough-in and spigots, which were installed just days later. They charged me $1300 to install two spigots which were very quickly and easily accessible, which seemed a little steep (I did a little more research and found that amount to be high compared to other competitors in the area). The water softener rough-in was okay, although the valves were pointing away from the water softener - easily worked-around but takes up more space. The Tech also said I shouldn't have my sink, fridge, or washer on soft water because the water is too salty to drink and that he recommends this to all his customers. I already knew water softeners don't add salt to the water, they add sodium ions so the calcium and magnesium can't attach and make the water hard. I paid $450 for the rough-in; I finished the softener installation myself. They sent a different person to come out and do the bathroom remodel estimate in early April. He was great and detailed and we were on the same page throughout the visit. He said he'd get back to me in a few days. I texted a week later and got a reply that he'd have it finished up by the end of the week. I was okay with that, as long as I had a timeline, I knew what and when to expect it. Communication was spotty, but I finally received the estimate May 8th.

Chose Bedell based on having lowest-priced deal on Angie's List and positive reviews. Technician John was punctual, friendly, and professional. He communicated what he was doing throughout the process and cleaned up after. Upon my request, he provided recommendations and quotes for other plumbing work.

They came on Monday and tried to fix it. They thought it was fixed but it wasn't because it was a sign of a larger leak. They were the ones that came back that Wednesday to do a more extensive repair. That's when they found they could only do so much with the problem that we had to have a restoration company come in and take over.

Fantastic! Bedell Plumbing responded quickly and did great work at a reasonable price. We thought we were just getting a few leaky faucets repaired, but after 30 years of use, they had to be replaced. The plumber we called first, who from now on will be known as The Bad Plumber, made everything worse. His attempts to repair resulted in making the faucets unusable. We spent the Presidents Day holiday weekend with one shower faucet broken and the other bathroom's sink broken. So we could use the sink or shower but not both in the same bathroom. Not the end of the world, but very annoying. I called Bedell on Sunday morning, hoping just to leave a message. I was shocked when a person answered, and more shocked when that person turned out to be the owner of the company. He asked what was wrong and actually listened to me. The next morning, Frank came at 8 a.m. and fixed everything. Calm, cool, professional, no problem. To fix the shower faucet, he had to cut a hole in the drywall for access, then use a blowtorch on the pipes. Husband and I were nervous, but it was fine. He covered the hole with a panel and did not burn down the house. We were very glad that The Bad Plumber did not bring out a saw or a propane torch. All the work was done at very reasonable prices, less than The Bad Plumber was going to charge. Big thanks to Bedell Plumbing, now known in our house as The Good Plumber.

Bedell was very responsive and could get someone out to install a new garbage disposal the afternoon of my call. Instead I had them come out the next day. Freddie was friendly, courteous and went right to work installing the disposal and finished in about 1 hr. However, he failed to remove the "knockout drain plug" during the installation which was determined when we ran the dishwasher and it did not drain. When I called to report what was happening they knew right away what the problem was and sent another plumber out to rectify the problem.

It went extremely well. Arrived on time and did an excellent job.

I noticed a small leak from my water heater Saturday morning. Searched Angie's list and found Bedell Plumbing listed with high ratings. I called immediately and someone answered on three rings. I explained my problem and determined it wasn't an emergency. He asked me a few questions about my current water heater (size, brand, gas, exhaust fan, etc.) and then scheduled an appointment for 11:00 am Monday. The service technician called about 9:30 am Monday and said he could come early if we were available. Said he would be there at 10:00 am and he was. Replaced the water heater and took away the old. Other than the new water heater, you couldn't tell the service technician had been there. Great job and will use them for all of my plumbing needs going forward.

The work was completed in a timely manner and done professionally. I submitted a request Angie's List for a quote and they did not respond so I had to manually follow up but they were the lowest cost and did good work.
