I had a very slow leak in the pipe that attaches to the water meter located in my crawl space. I contacted Bedell plumbing as they have done excellent work for me in the past. Called on a Thursday and the work was scheduled for the next Monday. Jay called to let me know the service tech would be running about 30 minutes late, which I appreciated being informed of. Tech located the problem, called the office for an estimated pricing, performed the work quickly and cleanly. Very professional. I will use Bedell again if needed in the future.

older Broad Ripple home and several oak trees. we started off thinking we needed only for the sewer line to be "roto-routed" but line was too full of roots. Robert came to the house to discuss options and spent a lot of time brainstorming options. the house has a 2nd sewer line which exits the back of the house. 1st plan was to re-route the downstairs bath, which was attached to the sewer line exiting to the side of the house and was too full of roots, to this 2nd line. using their camera we learned that the 2nd line was also in bad shape, clay pipe was broken in multiple places. Only option was to re-do the entire system. Robert was prompt in replying to email questions. Once the project started he provided updates several times each day. project took 2 days. The team cleaned the basement well afterwards and the front yard was left as well as could be expected.

Work was done by Travis. He has excellent mechanica, problem solvingl & plumbing skills. One of the best plumbers I have ever worked with. Bedell is my A-team plumber. Very professional, great quality and very easy to work with.

I used a couple of bags of salt that were too soft (didn't know you could do such a thing). The salt hardened together into a big glob which led to the failure of a couple components in the softener. They were able to replace the parts and waited to ensure it was able to get to the recycle/recharge process, which it wasn't before the parts were replaced. Has been working great ever since the repair.

They were fantastic. He was punctual, friendly and helpful. He walked me through more than I had asked him to.

Prompt response to my phone call . After I explained the problem I was given some possible explanations of what the problem might be and the cost for repair. They were able to come the next day and one of those examples turned out to be the problem and it cost the quoted price to fix it.

It went very well. We called him because Bedell was highly rated on Angie's List. Originally the call was to install only the battery back-up, which we provided. We haven't owned this home very long, so he also inspected the primary sump pump and noticed several problems. It was aging and had some parts that were improperly hooked up as a way for previous owner to save money. We were lucky the main sump pump held out as long as it did and that we didn't have a flood. He replaced the original and hooked up the back-up and was very professional. He spent time answering our questions about other things, as well, such as the reverse osmosis system and our water softener. We will call them again should we need a plumber.

Service is good. But this is the 4th or 5th time I have had to have the sump pump replaced. Each time by Bedell Plumbing Inc. Sump pit constantly runs during wet season. Wish the pumps lasted more than a year. Bedell does good professional work but sump pums are expensive to replace each 1-2 years.

Excellent - they were very professional - explained what they were doing at all times- did not make a mess of the yard even tho they had to bring in a large piece of equipment. Had job done in one day! Robert and his crew did a great job. He even called later in week to make sure we were satisfied with job . Because of the customer service I would recommend this company to anyone.

It was a holiday weekend. They had to call in someone to do the repair. Took him a little while to get to our home. He didn't ask any questions. Replaced water heater in amount of time he said it would take and charged exactly what was on the estimate.

Everything went well. They were punctual and were able to come the next morning after I called. I don't have any complaints at all.

First I requested an appointment on the area on the website where you can do that. You actually put down the available dates, then AM/PM. I get a response back to call to set up an appointment! Didn't make a whole lot of sense. Anyways. A plumber was sent out here, that I truly believe had no idea what he was doing. Granted it was quite a mystery why there was a powdery substance around the drain between my water heater and AC unit. However, if I knew what it was, why am I calling them? Regarding the toilet, he didn't even try to us a stopper. Which the company I ended up calling (Godby)did. They told me, "sometimes that just happens if toilet paper expands in the pipe". Problem solved that quick. This company did nothing, did not try to figure anything out on their own, didn't get on their hands and knees, take faucets off or anything to try to figure this out. They did not send out a senior tech, he just was on the phone. Didn't even take a picture of the situation, and send it to someone. It was crazy. The only communication I had from this owner was through the "my messages" on here. The owner Jay knew I was mad, and never made a personal call. Just defended his company with this. I never would have used his company after this mess, but never offered to send a senior tech. So I sent him pictures myself of the situation, and I hope he enjoyed them. Side note, I was having issues with my kitchen faucet. It was going to be like $149 for them to take it apart and look at it, and $199, for them to look, and replace. Come on, seriously... Never ever would use this company

The solution worked like a charm. I asked for the bill and was told "no charge." I will continue to use and recommend to others!

We had a leak from a toilet but weren't sure where, why or how. We also found out we could not shut off the supply line to the toilet. We called Bedell and an appointment was made right away. The plumber, Tom, arrived a half hour late. To compensate for being late he did not charge us for the valve replacement. He determined we had a hairline crack in the bottom of the toilet tank. He replaced the whole toilet. He had everything he needed right on his truck. Great job in minimum time. Tom was very professional. Bedell Plumbing Inc. is now "our plumber".

It was generally pretty good. I don't remember any problems. I think they were professional and performed the job in a timely manner. It was reasonably priced and they were reliable.

Updated review: All repairs (i.e., sinks, toilets, shower) by Bedell have been very timely and well done (including complete sewer line replacement) although there is still a minor issue regarding a shower drain that can no longer be fixed or repaired due to cracks in the shower stall floor: Due to potential issues with a previous shower drain repair with another plumber (not Bedell) it appears that I may need to have the entire shower stall replaced. The price quote that had been given by the other plumber appeared to be very high and have cancelled the estimate so that no additional work will be done. I am now looking to find out if the shower stall can be replaced by Bedell at reasonable cost.

Working with Bedell is always a good experience. They've been available on short notice for crisis issues and are flexible in scheduling for planned upgrades such as our water softener installation. They're on time and do excellent work. Unlike many other providers, they were able to listen to my description of the issue over the phone and then provide me with a rough ballpark estimate, and then when onsite were able to more accurately break down the job and let me know what I had missed and why it would cause the estimate to change. Once everything was agreed to (no high-pressure sales pitches), the work was done quickly and professionally. I am extremely pleased with their work and will gladly use them again in the future.

Very responsive and professional

I had been looking at using another plumbing company on Angie's List. I have had two unfortunate experiences with other companies. I have not needed Bedell for an actual visit yet. However, today I was in a slight panic, and called them. The nicest person answered the after hours number. I believe my call was around 5:45 am. My master bathroom had a slight sewer smell in it. Of course, that type of smell can put a panic in anyone. Except the experts at Bedell. I did not catch the persons name. However, the skill of empathy, and explaining what he thought it might be was most appreciated! I was pretty sure I had seen sewer cleaning signs in my neighborhood this week. He said sometimes the rubber valves can get stuck and not close after the cleanings. He told me to go to all of the areas where there was a faucet and run it, plus flush all toilets. I had not smelled anywhere but the master bath. I did all of it, and the smell went away. He told me if that didn't work after awhile to call back, and they would have a truck out today. He told me the rubber valve (sorry if I am not explaining this correctly!!) closed if the smell went away. As of right now, about 12 hours later, I have not smelled it. What an amazing company! I told him I was not a current customer, but planned to be prior to this call. Now, I can't imagine why I dealt with any other company for the past 11 years.

We would recommend them. They were responsive, respectful, and clean.

I liked them. They were very good. I've used them two times and I would call them again if I had a plumbing issue.

I think I have covered all the details as described above. Also they did not take advantage of my disability which is deafness and they did take time to explain things by telephone relay.

The service went well. My wife primarily dealt with the technicians. Everything went smoothly. We had no problem getting in contact with the company or scheduling the service.

They reliably answer their telephone. They provide reasonable advice that's balanced for risk-return on your investments. This is usually quite helpful. There are times it's a bit less so (e.g. they want you to purchase all new hardware based on parts availability, rather than aesthetics). Their reps are always courteous, though of course they vary a bit in professionalism. It's clear that this is a company that cares about it's product and works to sustain your long term good will.
