Arrived on time, quickly completed the job keeping us informed along the way.

The Bedell I used was in the Greenfield area. I think they have 4-5 offices in the central area of Indiana. Their work is AOK. Their people have always been kind and knowledgeable. Pricing is average and comparable to most plumbing companies. I have used them several time and have been very pleased with their work.

The work was very satisfactory and the plumbers were professional.

They came out the next day and quickly replaced/plumbed a new garbage disposal that we had previously purchased.

On 6/5/2015 I went into my laundry room and I notice water was running and I could not shut the water off. I called BEDELL PLUMBING INC. I knew about them from Angie's list and they worked in my neighbor hood installing city water lines. I am sure they could tell how frighten I was. The guy on the phone was so understanding he sent Travis out two hours later and he was very kind and helpful, I could tell he was very skilled in plumbing he mastered the situation. I called Travis back 7/7/2015 my boiler drains on my washer was leaking water he replaced both of them the hot and cold boilers. I had an under the sink leak he checked it took care it and did charge me. my total charge for both jobs was 400.00 I thank the company for being prompt and good service. .

After calling several plumbers who would not discuss the details of my problem but would only offer to come out for a service fee of $40 to over $100 I finally called Bedell who talked to me in depth about the possible causes and costs of my problem. The young man that came to the house was very knowledgeable, polite, courteous,and professional. My problem was a new toilet in an old house needed reseated and adjusted to better fit the existing plumbing. I am very pleased with their work and would use them again.

We were very pleased with Bedell Plumbing. They are very punctual and professional!

The person on the phone assured me they could get the drain unclogged after my bad experience with cecils sewer and spending $550 with the drain still clogged. A very nice gentleman showed up and explained the charges. It was $105 for the first hour and $88 to replace the broken sink pipe. He would know after the first hour if it could be unclogged. He went under the house to see what he was up against, saying there were several 90 degree pipes, but he would try. He tryed several different size machines and could not get through the pipe. He said it would be $700-900 to replace the entire drain pipe. I paid him the $105 and sent him on his way, the drain was still clogged and the pipe was still broken. My son came the next day with drain cleaner and a dain pipe from home depot for less than $2. He went under the house and said if he couldnt get it unclogged with the drain cleaner, there was a clean out on the line. He was there less than an hour and the pipe was replaced and the drain was cleared with the drain cleaner. It is unbelievable to me that 2 reputable companies could not unclog a kitchen drain and had the nerve to charge that kind of money and not perform the required service.

He put it in within 2 hours. They came out right away. It was a very professional company.

They were efficient and took care of my problem very quickly. It was worth the price since they were so fast in taking care of my issues. I will definitely use them again.

We were told by another provider that we had a main water line break. Because the repair was going to be so expensive, we were in the process of gathering a few estimates of the cost to repair it. Bedell came to give us an estimate and after a few minutes, they advised us that they did not believe that we had a main water line break at all. They identified another possible reason for the increase in our water bill, made a simple adjustment, and told us to just watch and see what the next water bill amount is before we do any repairs to the main water line. It's been over a month now, and we believe they were correct! There are so many companies out there that would have taken advantage of our situation in order to get the job. But these guys were so professional and honest. And we were not charged anything at all!!! We will recommend this company to everyone we know and we plan to use them in the future when we need services.

First off, the plumber was on-time and professional. Before he did any work, we simply talked through the issues and options and he was careful to disclose everything to me in regards to the replacement of my faucet. I also had a very old toilet that had a very old toilet seat that I removed. I wanted him to take a look at this too and he got pricing for me upfront for every possibility (i.e. if we even needed to replace the toilet itself) before working. Once he began work, he was done with the faucet in approximately 20-25 minutes and changed the toilet seat in 2 minutes. Awesome work and great service.

We thought we wanted a tankless heater, but Jay explained why he wouldn't recommend a tankless system and that he wouldn't put one in his own home. We really appreciated his honesty and that he didn't try to sell us a more expensive tankless system. The installers were very professional. We didn't have a clear path to the water heater in our basement and told the installers we would move anything needed, but they did it themselves. They also installed a water pressure regulator to extend the life of our water heater.

I had a leak under kitchen sink and called a couple service providers and were waiting for the call back for estimates and scheduling. Then I called Bedell Plumbing. Jay called me back really quickly and through a quick phone consultation, he found that I had a quite common problem and walked me through the steps to fix it over the phone! Free of charge. Definitely will call them again for any plumbing issues in the future.

Work completed one year ago -- April, 2014: 1) Main sewer line: Although no issues have been observed with the line itself it was the dirt left over from the sewer trench mound, i.e., 3 feet high and 70 feet in length, that I had to deal with later as there had been no visible settling of this mound for the better part of 2014, so I had it leveled by another contractor since Bedell did not offer any grading of the dirt in the contract. The back yard is now reasonably flat although I just found out when picking out stones and other debris from the yard that the cleanout cover/cap had been broken when the mound had been leveled and now needs replacing as of this review. As for "responsiveness" I went with another plumber to have the cleanout cover replaced since they replied in a prompt and timely manner. 2) Sump pump line: Had another new sump pump line installed to a dry well by another contractor during the summer of 2014 due to not being convinced that the line installed by Bedell would continue to work properly without freezing or backing up during the winter months since the discharge had been placed at GROUND LEVEL which is not good and the pipe was very small at only 1 & 1/2 inches. I did not wait to see if the discharge line was going to freeze when the weather turned frigid so I had another contractor put in another sump pump line with two new pumps as they both discharge to a dry well in my back yard. Note the new 3 inch line was correctly installed with it being pitched with proper continuous downward slope until reaching the dry well, as the one installed by Bedell apparently goes upwards against gravity before reaching ground level! The new and properly pitched sump pump line (installed by other contractor) has worked well without any issues during the entire winter of 2014 - 2015. Don't let anyone sell you a sump pump line that discharges at ground level as it only spells trouble!

From initial contact (Jay Bedell) to completion (Dan), these folks were pleasant, professional, prompt, and efficient. We hired them to replace a garbage disposal. I had asked if, while disposal was out, they could tighten faucet connections I had had trouble reaching. Jay gave me advice on the phone and said the plumber could look at it when he was there. Plumber arrived exactly on time. He masterfully handled the replacement of the disposal - neatly and efficiently. There was an electrical issue for which he did some diagnostics before determining we needed an electrician. He also cleaned up my self-plumbing job without making me feel like an idiot. :-) They did not charge over the original estimate for the extra time and effort both of these issues required. We are VERY pleased with Bedell Plumbing and will definitely use them again.

Developed a leak in an iron drain pipe in the crawlspace. The plumber arrived on time and provided an estimate for the job before he set to work. Not only did he fix the leaking pipe but he also replaced part of the old drain line out to the septic tank that had been causing problems for many years. For the amount of work that he did in the time he was here the price quoted was more than fair. Rusty did a great job and we would call them back again anytime and highly recommend them! Great job!

There was no problems at all. The plumber (Tom) went right to it. He checked all the house areas to decide how to best handle it. Explained the options we had, then he did job. Pulled out stove and shut off gas line there. While he was here I ask him about kitchen sink plumbing/faucets. He showed me what needed replaced, cost. I also ask about having sink/faucet installed etc. in kitchen. I will be calling them to get this work done. It matters a lot to have work done professionally, may cost more, but I know it is right, no shortcuts.

Travis was excellent! Very polite, professional, and efficient. He made a tough job look easy as the plumbing from prior residents was "jimmied". We were quoted higher on the phone and was amazed how reasonable it was. We would highly recommend Bedell and are planning on using them when we remodel our shower in the next year.

All good. Two guys (Eric and Rusty) were pros and got right to work. The sump pump seems to be working well. They gave me clear information on what to expect from the replacement pump. They were not able to come the first scheduled day. The weather had gotten bad and people were probably having worse problems then my sump pump and some water in basement. We rescheduled.

Joe came to my home about 10:00 a.m.Monday and left a bit after 11:00. The person that set this up did it as an emergency as i had a washing machine over-flo on Thursday Feb. 26th. I thought I had cleared the clog with a purchased drain opener. Friday I used one gallon of vinegar and 3 boxes of baking soda to clean 11 drains. As I was finishing putting boiling water in drains I heard a bubbling and found water backed up again. I tried several companies, Some would not honor Angie's list discounts for weekend work or late hours. Angie's list helped me get a very nice plumber in late on Saturday. He told me what needed to be done but the company did not have the equipment to do the job. Most of Sunday I tried to find a Plumber. I filled out forms on the internet as I had lost my voice. One company called Monday and they sent Joe to my home as soon as he finished the job he was doing. THANKS BEDELL AND THANKS JOE.
