Description of Work: They were trying to find a sewer leak. While the owner was very nice I was not satisfied with the technician, Eric. He was not compassionate and would not do a smoke test as he told me he had fixed the issue. He was abrasive and I did not care for his delivery and I felt I spent money that was unnecessary. The owner offered to come and do the smoke test and was receptive and kind and sent a very experienced, senior plumber, Bill who knew what he doing and was able to determine where the leak was coming from.

Description of Work: They replaced a faucet in my kitchen, fixed lines in the bathroom that were leaking and put my fixtures back.

Description of Work: They were asked to move the refrigerator water hookup hard plumbing position in the wall. They provided a cost estimate of $150 by phone. We feel that we precisely explained what needed to be done over the phone. When they got here and saw the job they said it would be $350 less the Angie's List discount of $20. If I would have known they wanted that much money, I would have done it myself. There was a communication breakdown here and an inaccurate estimate. We called them for this job based upon how well they did on a previous visit. They did not seem to realize what we were asking them to do.

Description of Work: found the leak; water running down our driveway. it turned out to be a hose with water wand attached that was draining into the area above flagstones.

Description of Work: 3 bathrooms, change faucets |& toilet parts. Also put new valve on humifier& water pressure tank.

Description of Work: Was having sewet gas smells, so they reset a toilet and sealed. Very professional and courteous.

Description of Work: Installed a backup sump pump which I had already purchased. Job was well done and installer explained how it would work. I did feel it was high priced for a job that only took a little over an hour.

Description of Work: They got my frozen water pipes going again; repaired/replaced some (in walls) & installed a new, very expensive shower head (they said the shower lines had "shattered" and had to be replaced and gave me choice of staying with old shower head or going out and buying a new one or having them install theirs which was over $600 but I was frantic to get water back on). They refused to give me anything but a $20 discount coupon and it was sort of a struggle to get that on a very expensive service. The 2 men were polite and professional but I still would not use Bedell plumbing again.
