"Long story, short - I don't recommend using Grand Appliance unless you can install or arrange for installation yourself. But I'm not sure what, if any, effect that may have on warranty. The washer/dryer was installed on Monday, 13-Jun-2022. The installer hadn’t turned the water back on at the valves. The installer started a quick washing cycle right before leaving and assured me all was working as expected. My fault for not making him wait - the doors of the machine are black, and most machines run very silent now - it didn't occur to me to analyze more closely what was going on (not going on) in the washer before he left. Upon further inspection, I also noticed that there was no water line installed to the dryer (for the steam feature). I've been calling and emailing the sales representative and store manager at 4025 E. 82nd St. in Indianapolis, calling customer service 800 lines, and calling Grand's delivery supervisor (all week) – resulting in no one taking this any further. I eventually learned from the corporate customer service representative that they consider this an LG problem now. A service request was submitted to LG by Grand and a confirmation email from LG indicates they are unable to locate service providers in my area. And they'll let me know when they find one."
