Tyler fixed our furnace after hours yesterday. He arrived and was friendly and efficient. Tyler listened and took a look at our system. He found the problem was just a sticker from inside the unit had come loose and was being hit as the furnace blower turned off. I would recommend Tyler and Appel H/A.

We placed a call this morning when our AC stopped working and they scheduled us for the afternoon. Our tech quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it - he had the part handy to fix the capacitor on our outdoor unit. We are cool again!

On Dec. 30 around 2 pm I realized our furnace was not functioning, so I called Appel, who have done the maintenance on our two systems for many years. We have a maintenance contract with them. The person on the phone looked us up and offered me a choice--an emergency call on Dec. 30, or the regular maintenance (prepaid) plus whatever the repair would be on Dec. 31. I took Dec. 31. The technician arrived at the expected time, diagnosed and repaired the problem (an igniter), and did the maintenance. I really appreciate the Appel office staff having the consideration to point out that I could save a lot of money by combining the calls! (and fortunately they had a tech available on New Year's Eve!)

They are excellent and come out twice a year to service our system. We are very pleased with them and we would highly recommend them.

Spectacular service. I had a furnace that was “short cycling”, and I wanted to know why. The diagnosis required cutting an access panel in order to inspect the A-Coil (which was the culprit). The 2 technicians I worked with were honest, professional, and friendly (Brandon and Jim). I am an engineer by trade so I had many questions. They politely answered all my questions. Although it required a second visit for the sheet metal work, I was charged only the single diagnostic service price that I was originally quoted. I am extremely impressed with the consistent professionalism from Appel.

It went fantastic. They were actually the company who had installed the old HVAC unit about 20 years ago! They are thorough and pleasant to work with. We also have them come do our routine maintenance on our unit. I would highly recommend them to others.

Great. Appel installed an Aprilaire Model 600 automatic humidifier in our home on December 10th. The humidity in our basement and our home has been very comfortable.. The automatic feature based on the outside temperature is really a plus. Easy to schedule, efficient technician, pleasure to work with.

I called them and they said they couldn’t send anyone out for two weeks they also said that since the previous tenant hadn’t had a service agreement with them the unit hadn’t been serviced in four years and they were blaming that for the problem.

Their work was excellent. Were in the process to replaced out ac and furnace and we will use them again.

It went very well. Very thorough and friendly Techs.

They came out the same day and diagnosed the problem and did a temporary repair. Within a week they came back to install the new part that was needed.

Appel did a very good job. However, when finished, they did not clean up, leaving tracks on the floors where they worked, even though they covered stairs with long cloths. That should have been their last task, because their tracks were noticeable.

Not happening. We were told the parts are coming from Japan weeks ago. Must be a slow ship a sailing. They let us use loaner old broken window units, pictured below. I hope our house doesn't burn down from electrical fire. We have to use pliers to turn the knobs on one since they are broken off. So, the Tappan heat pump A/C unit FT4BE-030 was installed in July 2013, broke down 3 times in August of 2016 and again in May 2018. It's been down for 2 weeks while we wait for parts. Appel has come twice a year to service it. It's under warranty, but that really doesn't get it fixed and running, does it. It looks nice on paper. right next to their pleasing logo, " Your Satisfaction Measures Our Success"

They were perfect. We been using them for many years and we have no problem since then.

Appel came out to do a routine inspection of the furnace and found a large crack. They showed us the crack and recommended a new furnace. Nate came out and described our options. He is definitely knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions. The guys who put in the new furnace left the garage cleaner than it was when they got there! Everyone was polite and professional. What I liked the most is that they put the little plastic booties on over their shoes, EVERY TIME they came into house. Other people do it the first time and then stop. They always put them on.

It went really well. We had a weird vibration that the serviceman fixed. Our furnace has been running great even though it is old. The cost below is with service agreement.

Great. Technician arrived on time. Performed required checks on equipment, and also cleaned out the inside of the heat pump unit with the hose. Changed owner supplied filter, and left detailed info on system performance. Very respectful of property, courteous and friendly. This was year one of my three year maintenance plan (they come 2x per year).
