Description of Work: Helped clean out & organize 2 bedrooms & closets in bedrooms & major junk filling up center of living room. |Lori is masterful at giving ideas for best use of space to maximize proximity of commonly used items. She continued to rummage through my junk/items when I had to go out of room for personal calls. |Although her hourly rate is a little higher than I'd like, her expertise & energy & take charge(with permission) attitude is well worth the fee. She also knows great places to donate or possibly sell items and she itemized the donations (on her own time & drop off donations, returning receipt to me). I have found her to be the most efficient of organizers that I have worked with. I highly recommend her and am planning to utilize her as much as I can get her until I get my home totally in order.

Description of Work: I have been working with Lorri over the last several months. I had been cleaning out my house and storing everything in the basement - it got to the stage where I didn't even want to go down to the basement as it was just so cluttered and over crowded. I didn't know where to start, so Lorri was there to help. She helped me organize everything and helped me identify what to donate, what to organize, what to sell, and what to recycle. She has a wonderful personality and I never felt pressured to make decisions or choices I was uncomfortable with, she was always very supportive. Having her there allowed me to complete a job (clean out my basement) that I was avoiding!! She also helped me setup my garage sale which helped to clear out a lot of stuff. One awesome thing about Lorri is that she will take things to Teacher's Treasures; Half Price Books; Goodwill; etc... if you want. So when she leaves with the stuff, I felt a great sense of accomplishment. She always provides receipts of all donations. Lorri was great, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Description of Work: I received information and Lori was very punctual about getting back in touch with me. She took into consideration all that went into my needs for getting a lot of paperwork organized for my mom and dad at their home in Carmel. Our first conversation went very well and I will be calling her in a couple of days to get a consultation set up. I was very impressed with her punctuality, knowledge and tips that she offered during the first conversation.

Description of Work: Lori provided outstanding professional service in organizing my office as I prepared to move to smaller quarters. She was most helpful in suggestions, ideas, and assistance as I weeded through forty years accummulation of personal and business records, books, and memorabilia. She was most helpful in suggesting receipents for donations of all kinds and took many loads of materials to Goodwill, Half-price Books, etc.

Description of Work: We contacted her about getting our whole house organized. [One might say we are entropically-challenged.] She came out and spent the time to go through our house. Then, she supplied a detailed, itemized estimate--all at no cost to us. Once we chose her, she was very flexible and worked hard to fit into our schedule. Her services included helping us decide which items to get rid of and which to keep (which for a hoarding-type personality is very hard to do. In addition to helping with the actual organization, she knew exactly which charities or resale shops took what sorts of items. She helped us draw up itemized lists for items we were donating to charity. She also focused strongly on recycling/reuse of items and took those items herself to the recycling centers. Each time she came out, she brought very valuable tips/ideas for how to maintain what had been accomplished in the previous visit.

Description of Work: Lori helped us get ready for a move by categorizing various items for keeping, give away, etc. She also packed very carefully all of the items and labeled them. We donated many items and she took them to the places we designated and returned with a very detailed listing. She organized our closets and drawers so that they looked much better for our house showing. She suggested places we might donate or sell certain items and also talked to us about family heirlooms, etc.

Description of Work: I need to have a sump pump installed in my basement. The work is set to start on Sep 1, 2010. My job is to pack up everything in my basement & move items so that he water-proofing people can get access to all the perimeter walls. They will jack-hammer up the concrete from the basement floor, lay the pipe & instal the pump. I was overwhelmed with the enormity of the project. Lori came the day after I called her, gave me an estimate & the next day we got to work. She's great at organizing. We sorted through all my stored food, threw some items away, chose usable food for a local pantry & boxed up the rest. She took the donations herself, on her own time, to the pantry. She took a load of used books to Half-priced books & gave me the cash back. She took many items to Goodwill & brought me an itemized list. Other items she took for donations to Habitat for Humanity & also sent supplies to an animal shelter. She did all of this on her own time & brought me itemized lists so I have them for tax purposes. Then we got to work packing & boxing up everything that I want to keep.

Description of Work: Downsizing. Complete reorganization of the garage which warehouses not only personal items but retail items as well. Combination of liquidation, sorting and reorganizing items by category. All unneeded items liquidated or donated to a list of charities.
