+ -1 moreTheir copier was broken, so they said they would mail a copy of the inventory to me. When it was received a few days later lo and behold on top of it attached was a contract to which either the owner or her helper had forged my name. They had not even spelled my last name correctly when they signed it. In the interim I had received a call from them I with a very low offer for some of my items which I declined, and in the background I could hear the owner griping that I would never get a higher offer anywhere else. When I picked my items back up today I mentioned to the owner that I had received a contract in the mail that surprisingly had been forged by either she or one of her employees. Her response was it's not a binding contract, and she became quite curt with me. I politely told her that forgery was a crime, that she should never do that again.
Description of Work: Took in several antiques to sell. A few were purchased on the spot, the rest were inventoried and kept to see if any one of the booths owners would make an offer.

Description of Work: Great local antique "emporium"..just as it states. Owner was very very pleasant and informative. She was manning the store with her dog who was also very friendly! She offers free walk-in antique estimates on Wednesdays; hence, those were the services my mother and I used. She has a lovely shop, one that I would recommend visiting!

+ -1 morePeg and the ladies who work with her are very knowledgeable and professional. They were also fun to work with and very sensitive to our feelings during a difficult time. They charged a percentage that was based on what was sold and we felt it was very fair. They worked hard and even took care of selling the small amount of things that were left after the sale.
