It went very well. The Arborvitae is beautiful, and doing very well. I was given instructions by them for it's proper care. John was very pleasant to work with.

Steve's team of 3 did a great job. Due to the location of the trees and the fence around my back yard they could get to only 2 or 3 of the tress with their bucket. The rest they had to climb to trim and cut down. They did all of this in 5 hours. The crew members were very professional, hard working and polite. They left the area very clean. I would highly recommend Angel Oak to anyone needing any type of tree service. I should also add that I had originally gone to another Angie's list provider, Pings. They told me that the trees were very sick and needed $3000 in immediate treatment and on-gong annual treatments of $1300. I choked on that and found Steve of Angel . He told me that the trees were healthy but in a very poor location. This was good advice. I am very thankful I found him.

The company has never contacted me even though Angies List has reached out to them twice. I have since picked another company to do the work.

It went very well. I thought the pricing was competitive and the response time was good. They had the tree removed in one day and did a good job with the cleanup. We had a misunderstanding with the tree stump grinding. I called him and the solution was reached in a quick manner. GREAT customer service! I am very satisfied with the work and how they handle their customers. I recommend to others and will be using their services in the future.

This was a small job that we had done to prepare an area to replace and enlarge our patio. Since it was a small job, with a time limit involved, I did not intend to have multiple quotes, if the first one seemed reasonable. I made a fortunate choice from Angie's List to call Angel Oak. They came soon after I called to see the area and what had to be done, then quoted the cost on the spot. I thought it reasonable and gave them the work. They could schedule it with-in a week which was okay for my schedule. The people who came to do the work were very nice, and did what I thought was an excellent job.

I have used them for years. They respond right away and he took his time and was thorough. I have a lot of trees and bushes that needed treatment. I will continue to use them.

They are good about returning my calls. Steve and his son are good to work with and explain what they are going to do in the appointment to us. Their clean-up is very good.

Angel Oak removed a very large river birch from our patio area. It was located very closely to our house and our neighbors. We knew that it would require care to take it down so as not to damage any property. Since we've used Angel Oak in the past we were confident that they would do a good job. The removal went smoothly and all of the wood removed. Also, the clean-up was great in our yard and our neighbors. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Angel Oak for any needs relating to tree care and removal.

Angel Oak's quality of work and price point were excellent. They weren't as punctual as I'd hoped. Services were delivered a week later than estimated. Also, the services had to be performed by two different crews, with a few days in between, due to using subcontractors for some of the work.

Steve came out to my home to inspect a tree that had some damage to one side of it. It looked to me like something was eating straight through the trunk (fungus, bugs, some crazy tree disease, who knows!) I was very concerned that we would have to remove the tree as it was quite large and provided good shade for the back of our home. Steve was able to assess that it was sun scorch which had lead to additional problems but that the tree would heal over time and it did not need cut down. Needless to say this was a huge relief and I applaud Steve for being so thorough and honest in his explanation. He very easily could have told me the tree needed removed and I would not have known any better. If and when I need tree service in the future, I know who I'll reach out to based on this experience.

Everything went very well. The service was timely and the provider was courteous. It was a great encounter. I would definitely use them again!

This company was very efficient in retuning calls, which to me is very important. They came at their scheduled time, and did a fantastic job from start to finish; including clean up. I would highly recommend this company and will use them in the future if I need to.

Steve, the owner, is great to work with. He is responsive and offered good suggestions. Received estimate promptly. They were back logged a little but there was no immediate need to get the work done.. Steve kept me informed and when they came out the work was done professionally and cleanup eas immaculate. 2nd time using them and will definitely call again.

Steve came out and gave us a written estimate for the job. We were very pleased with the price, so called him back to schedule the work. Jeremy and Michael arrived to remove the willow tree. After removing the largest branches with the chain saw, they then cabled the willow tree to another large tree in our yard so that they could control where the tree would fall (the tree was close to our house and close to our neighbor's fence). They hauled all of the branches out to the front yard and fed them into a chipper. Afterwards they raked up the debris in the back yard, and also cleaned up the sidewalk and street in the front where the chipper was being used. Jeremy explained that the stump grinding would be done another day. Just a few days later, John came out and ground the stump 8-10 inches down. Our neighbor across the street had two stumps that he wanted ground down, so I asked John if he could do it, and, after checking with Steve, he also took care of our neighbor's two stumps. (His trees had been removed by another tree service, and they had never returned to grind the stuimps). My hustband and I were very happy with everyone we had contact with at Angel Oak Tree Care! They are reliable, friendly, and do an excellent job for a great price! (And our neighbors were happy as well!). We have a lot of trees and now I know who to call the next time we need help! If I was going to describe this company with just one word, it would be AWESOME! P.S. Another great feature is that you don't have to be home on the day the work is done. This is very handy for people who are working during the day and don't want to take the time off.

Very prompt in response and submitting a bid for the job as well as scheduling the job to be done. Very professional. Cleaned up the yard well, after finishing the job. The trees looked great, which I was fearful of the esthetic look being that I've never had this done before. The trees are very healthy looking, look nice and less imposing for their size

Due to the recent storm our front yard tree broke and landed on the roof. I called 4 top listed companies from Angie?s List. Two companies could manage to get to my property the same day and provide an estimate. Angel Oak Tree Care was one of the 2. Steve, the inspector, showed up on time. He was very professional, gave me a detailed explanation of how they will remove the tree and when they will be able to do the job. His cost estimate was 1/3 of the cost of the other top rated company. I decided to hire Steve. Next day, his crew showed up on time; removed the tree and then 2 days later they came back and grinded the tree trunk and the root. I am very pleased with their service.

Steve was terrific! Super responsive. It wasn't complicated but they took care of it all quickly and efficiently. I plan to use the company again in the immediate future for more tree work.

Angel is good, and I probably would use them again if I needed to. I thought it was expensive at the time but it was an older tree and I thought it was well worth it.

Arborist has been spraying tree for several years with no luck at resolving the black fungus. No recommendations were made. I cancelled service via phone and they continued to mail me pre-invoices for the service. I then called and cancelled service again. Today, arborist shows up with truck to spray the tree again after I cancelled it twice in the past 3 seasons.

Very well! They had asked if they could do the work without us here if it fit with their schedule and we said yes. They removed the trees one day when we were not here, then came back the next day to ground the stumps and finish hauling away the limbs. They planted the new shrubs another day due to the weather. They were very open to making changes when we asked them to redo the order in which they had planted the shrubs and to add another shrub. We were very pleased and would recommend and use them again.
