I can't say enough positive things about Catherine and her company and her Amish cabinets. They are just beautiful. Catherine worked with us over several days and visits to our home, to come up with a design that met our needs. She was willing to make adjustments to the original design as we decided on a couple of changes that would better fit what we wanted in the kitchen. She had several wonderful suggestions on the design after we told her exactly what we wanted. She always responded to phone calls, emails, and text in a very timely manner. She even loaned us a drawer from her own bathroom that was the exact color of what our cabinets were going to be. She did this so that we could take it with us when we picked out the quartz counter top as our sample of wood had not come yet from the Amish family that was making the cabinets. The cabinets were made and delivered exactly when she told us they would be. She was here early the day they were delivered and stayed to make sure everything was alright. The cabinets were beautifully crafted, such excellent workman ship. We have had so many positive comments from people who have seen the new kitchen cabinets. I know that I can contact Catherine at any time if I have questions or if I need something for the new cabinets. It was a positive experience from the very beginning. Not only did we get some wonderful cabinets, but we made a new friend in Catherine. I give her and her company the highest recommendation.

From the moment I reached out to Catherine, my experience with Anderson Amish Cabinets has been nothing but wonderful. Catherine met my at my home, looked a pictures of what I liked, and helped me design a very large vanity for my master bathroom. The cabinets are so beautiful I am almost hesitant to use them...I just want to touch and admire them! Her cabinetmakers are in Central Illinois, where I lived for 22 years. I am very familiar with their work...it is amazing. Catherine Anderson is one of the most well-organized people I have ever met. She responded right away when I requested an estimate. When she came for our initial meeting she brought pictures of her other projects and an extensive selection of wood and stain samples from which to choose. I am not the fastest decision-maker in the world, but Catherine was very patient with me, which I really appreciated. Her enthusiasm was contagious --- I could tell that she loves what she does. She wants her customers to be happy...and I am extremely so!

I highly recommend Catherine Anderson and Anderson Amish Cabinets. In our new home, the cabinets for the kitchen, all bathrooms, laundry room and kitchenette actually came in below budget. Catherine and I developed the plan for each room from scratch. She was on-site as needed for delivery, installations and tweaking. You cannot beat Amish workmanship and high quality. The cabinets, glass insets, moldings and mirrors are simply beautiful. This was a very special experience and we wish Catherine the best with her business in the future. Thank you Catherine! After receiving three other quotes we contacted Catherine. We were impressed from the start. Catherine is very professional and pleasant to work with. Her attention to detail is impressive. She considered everything while we were planning our cabinets and asked a lot of questions making sure we got exactly what we wanted. We changed our plan slightly a few times and Catherine didn't bat an eye. She would quickly edit the plans and email us a new copy. We got all new cabinets in our kitchen, a new bathroom vanity, cabinets for an office, new cabinet fronts for family room built ins, and we added cubbies to our hallway outside of the kitchen. The cabinets are extremely nice. They are everything you would expect quality cabinets to be. The workmanship is impeccable. Being able to customize our cabinets is such a plus. We were able to design all of our cabinets so that they really met our needs. We also were thrilled with how quickly we received our cabinets. I believe it took about about 5 weeks from the time Catherine sent the final plans to the Amish to when we received the cabinets. We will definitely be calling Catherine when we're ready to renovate our master bath!

That service was fabulous. They did our kitchen and dining room with custom made cabinets that we turned into a large eat in kitchen after taking down a wall. I wish I could give her a triple A +. Everyone who has seen the cabinets say they are beautiful. She had a lot of great suggestions too! Hickory Wood that are stained gray. And some black cabinets. We have unique pull out drawers for spoons. There is a microwave drawer that was built in the cabinets. Lovely!

They were helpful and they were able to put it together quickly. There were 2 delays and damaged pieces. They were able to respond to those quickly and did the right thing.

Our first meeting was on May 5, 2014. A friend of mine had used Catherine Anderson's company for her new kitchen and I was very impressed with the quality of the cabinets and my friend couldn't say enough good things about Catherine and her contractor. I received estimates from 3 other companies. The other companies' estimates ranged from $25,000 to $45,000 for semi-custom cabinets. Catherine's bid was a little under the lowest of those and the cabinets would be custom cabinets. And although all the other companies are fine companies, I thought that working with Catherine would be fun and I loved the idea of my cabinets being made by the Amish. We had several meetings and after having drawn up one set of plans, I changed my mind about having an island and Catherine had to start over. No problem, she cheerfully had that done in no time and I think by the time we finalized a plan she had done my plans 4 times. Catherine had recommended Jim Rochford to be the contractor and after meeting with him, we decided he would be the best for the job. Catherine and Jim have worked together for a long time and the fact that Jim told us what high quality cabinets Catherine's people produce really confirmed our decision to have the Amish make them for us. The tear out of the cabinets, removal of a wall, removal of soffits and floor tile began on September 29, Monday. Cabinets were delivered on Oct. 14, Tuesday and Jim and his carpenter began installing on that day. The turn around time for the cabinets from when the order went in to delivery, was 6 weeks. All the cabinets fit into their places perfectly except for one which was reordered and came within 2 weeks in plenty of time before counter tops were installed. My cabinets are made from maple and I opted for large drawers for most of the lower cabinets. I also upgraded at a very small price to have the drawers made out of walnut and it was so worth the price because they are beautiful! I love my new cabinets. They have soft closing hinges and drawer glides and they are of outstanding quality. From start to finish Catherine was so easy to work with and her measurements are so precise that the contractor mentioned more than once that her kitchens were a dream to install. I would highly recommend Anderson Amish Cabinets for any cabinet needs.

Catherine was a pleasure to work with and is very knowledgeable about design. We had the cabinets within a few weeks and are in the process of having them installed. Beautiful, well-made cabinets. The entire process was seamless. Would not hesitate to use again.

. We met with Catherine on several occasions to design and layout our kitchen. We had a basic layout in mind and Catherine help us tweak it to best fit the space. The Amish cabinets are of the highest quality and truly custom. Best of all the price is inline or below what I priced at the big box stores for nice (not custom) lower quality cabinets. We changed the color of the finish of the cabinets literally hours before the finish was to be applied. Catherine didn't get flustered, made the change, and everything was delivered as desired. The cabinets were delivered when promised, all wrapped in furniture blankets. Her unload crew was pleasant and treated our home as if it were their own. During installation a few minor problems were discovered and I decided I needed some additional trim pieces. Catherine has ordered the pieces and they are to be delivered Tuesday. I trust completely that they will be here. If you are in need of cabinets do yourself a favor and compare the quality and pricing of Amish cabinets with any other supplier. If you desire high quality custom built cabinets you cant go wrong.

We are beyond pleased with our new cabinets from Anderson Amish Cabinetry. We had considered purchasing cabinets from some of the large home improvements stores, however, we felt very limited in terms of cabinet designs because those cabinets only come in standard sizes. We also met with a few kitchen design companies with fancy showrooms. While these companies could provide custom sized cabinets, they came along with a very steep price tag. Additionally, those companies wanted to manage our entire remodel, which would have cost us even more. We finally found Anderson Amish Cabinet here on Angie's List. Catherine Anderson met with us at our home and worked with us to come up with a design that incorporated all the features we wanted. This included things that we'd seen in photos. For example, our wood range hood was designed from a photo that we gave Catherine and in turned out fabulously! Also, we had them custom match the cabinet stain to an existing piece of stained wood. The best part is that the cabinets can be made to whatever size you need! This was especially helpful in our case because we had them create a wall of wooden lockers for our mudroom, a unit of drawers and shelves for our pantry, as well as a built-in wall of cabinetry that houses our ovens, fridge, and additional storage space. We had previously tried designing these elements using standard cabinet sizes and we were unable to achieve the design that we had envisioned. Working with Anderson Amish Cabinets allowed us to save money since we did the cabinet installation ourselves. The cabinets are beautifully made and will last us many, many more years than standard cabinetry. We are so happy with our decision to use Anderson Amish Cabinets! We will definitely use them again if we do a bathroom remodel.

We had a complete remodel to our 1920s kitchen, which was in pretty rough shape. Catherine came to our house for a consultation and she was very knowledgable and professional. After interviewing many cabinetmakers, we decided she was definitely the one for us. The cabinet samples she showed us were of exceptional quality and her understanding of our space and how to use it was in sync with our ideas. After a couple of follow-up measurements and talking through the renovations, Catherine worked with the Amish family that was building them. She was wonderful at keeping us informed throughout the build, which took a couple of months to complete. When they were ready, Catherine personally delivered the cabinets to the house. The quality, stain and craftsmanship far exceeded our expectations -- they are phenomenal! I wish we would have meet Catherine earlier and remodeled our kitchen years ago!!

Yes, it did take a little longer than what we may have liked, but quality does take time and should not be rushed.

I had a wonderful experience with Anderson Amish Cabinetry. The owner is very hands on, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The cabinets are stunning! The Amish quality is second to none and the cabinets are both beautiful and extremely well made. I took a picture out of a design magazine and asked them to recreate the details of a mantel and they did this exactly as the picture. The custom cabinetry allowed me to use every last bit of space in my kitchen. Anderson Amish Cabinets was very fairly priced, they were totally on schedule and delivered a great product!

The owner came to our home to show us the wood samples and designs. When we gave her the order she accommodated us in order to save money. The cabinets were delivered at the promised time. We couldn't be more pleased. She was efficient and capable in every way.
