Mark was able to get the system working right away. He checked the unit, hose and outlets and couldn't find any problems. I was embarrassed that there appeared to be no problem. He was gracious and professional; said maybe it was dusty contacts. He didn't charge me for the visit, even after I tried twice.

I found Ace based on the glowing reviews on Angie's List. I drove up after work and arrived just 5 min before the 6 pm closing time on Thursday. Ace graciously accepted the vacuum cleaner for service - without any rush to get out the door - and even offered to diagnose it right then in case it was an easy fix. Five minutes later the vacuum was returned to me and repaired free of charge - a stray pencil had been lodged in the hose. This was an A+ experience! I will definitely return to Ace for future vacuum repairs or service.

They were able to quickly identify the problem, fix it, and most importantly, did not charge me for the labor or the part (a belt). In my opinion, they went above and beyond providing excellent customer service. They were also extremely nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this company for repair or to purchase a new vacuum. I have done both at this location.

I brought a vacuum in for service as it was blowing a fuse every time I plugged it in. They looked at it immediately and gave me a quote of what they thought it would cost to repair. They also showed me new vacuums in the store and I was almost convinced that was what I was going to do. As I was driving home, they called me back, told me the repair would be much less than they quoted me and had my vacuum fixed and ready to pick up. I was thrilled.

Great company that I would use again. Fixed my vacuum in less than 24 hours.

We purchased a vacuum sweeper from them. They had excellent ratings. I had taken the sweeper into another place and they told me it could not be repaired. Ace told me it could be repaired, but could not guarantee how long it would last. He left the decision up to me. There was no pressure at all. We decided to purchase a new one since ours was so old. I was very happy with them and wil recommend them to friends. I love the fact that our sweeper is made in America.

They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and offered to show me some of their machines.

They gave me information on price for vacuum and installation with no pressure. I ordered the next day. Came out to house in advance to check out and see what would be needed. Vacuum arrived in a few days. They came out and installed. Installation took two hours. Charge was very reasonable, in the range originally quoted. Could not have been nicer.

I accidentally sucked up a bottle of eye drops & no matter what I did, I could not dislodge it. I sheepishly took it to Ace vacuums, where I had recently purchased it, to see if it could be removed. Mark teased me a bit about having to replace the whole hose because he couldn't remove it, but went into the back & promptly removed it, much to my relief. His good-natured ribbing was deserved & not a bit offensive. Both he & Ray are always very helpful & I highly recommend Ace vacuums.

He had the lowest estimate of the two places I contacted. The other vendor said I would have to order a brand new hose, which was costly. Ace repaired the hose at a fraction of the cost. The work only took about two days and was priced appropriately.

Purchased a vacuum for an elderly relative, and A1 shipped the vacuum out of state. The vacuum exceeded expectations!

They are one of the best little companies in Carmel. You should use this business. They are honest, they work hard and they treat you fairly.

The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He offers several kinds of vacuums. He lets you try them out, and gives you the price ranges. He is very kind, and very service oriented. You reach a person when you call, and not a voice mail. He does good work. If you need to get your vacuum repaired, he is pretty quick. I keep going back.

They service all the brand vacuum cleaners. He has always done a great job. He had been very fair and honest. He repairs what is required. His prices are good.

When I returned & asked for more info on the Miele he had earlier suggested, he not only gave me a great price on it but also threw in some very nice extras - much more than I would have ever expected. The Miele is a terrific machine & Ray is very professional & wants to have happy customers - that he does in me! This is the place to go for great service & products!

I needed a new vacuum cleaner that would be perfect for hardwood floors and tile---one that wouldn't "scatter" the dust and debris as most machines do when passing over the floors. I only have two bedrooms that are carpeted, so deep cleaning of carpets was not a priority in my search for the perfect machine. In addition, we have dogs and cats, so I wanted a machine that would vacuum the furniture, as well, removing hair and dandruff. I did my research on Angieslist and found very high customer satisfaction for Ace Vacuums. These reviews were spot-on; it is now my pleasure to join the praise for ACE Vacuums and submit my own review, as my experience with this company was extraordinary! From the moment I walked into the store, Ray, the owner, treated me with the old-fashioned respect that used to be afforded the customer in the days when a business owner knew that his livelihood was built on integrity and customer satisfaction. He listened to my cleaning needs and concerns, asked about my budget, and had me test several vacuum cleaners that he felt were quite suitable for my situation. He showed me the "good," the "better," and the "best." What was extraordinary, though, was that Ray didn't attempt to push his most expensive models on me. In fact, he told me that my circumstances didn't warrant such machines--that my home was not large enough to warrant the expense and power of the highest-end vacuums! Being very budget conscious, but willing to spend what I needed to in order to have just the right machine that would do the job I needed and last me for many years, I was floored (no pun intended!) that I was not being pushed into investing an astronomical sum of money in a machine that would simply be overkill for my household needs. This owner was truly interested in selling me the RIGHT machine for ME. During our conversations that day while I was trying out different vacuums he kept saying that what he wanted was a happy customer who was still thrilled with the purchase months after taking the vacuum home! Well, long story short, I got what I wanted---a perfect little Miele that keeps me dirt and hair free, and Ray got what he wanted: a lifelong customer who still squeals with glee every time she runs that little sweeper over the hardwood floors! I cannot recommend this business highly enough!!

Every time I go in ACE Vacuums I am reminded that my next vacuum will come from ACE. The staff is the most knowledgable, professional service find in the vacuum world.

Initially, I went in to purchase vacuum bags for another vacuum cleaner that I own. While paying for my purchase, I asked Ray his opinion about some vacuum cleaners that he has in his store. I was already considering purchasing another vacuum cleaner because the Hoover that I own does not clean to my satisfaction. Ray demonstrated some vacuums and I ended up coming back to his store later that evening and purchased the Miele Cat & Dog vacuum. I love it! Yes, it is much more expensive than my Hoover, but I have severe allergies and I really need an exceptional vacuum because I use it A LOT. Let me just say this: I never felt pressured to purchase this vacuum, I went in to buy bags and Ray never once tried to sell me a vacuum. In fact, I initiated the conversation about his vacuums. He's very knowledgeable, kind, and customer service oriented. He even put our vacuum together and carried it out to our car for us. We came in about 10 minutes before closing and he still took the time to assist us and answer questions, even demonstrating the vacuums again, this time for my husband. I look for businesses that are customer service oriented because they are so hard to find these days - for this reason I will continue to go to Ace Vacuum!

I had a horrible experience with a competitor. Mark from Ace didn’t make negative comments about them; just apologized I had such an experience. When we discussed price, he said he would keep the charge to a minimum, which I appreciated during this holiday season. In the end, Mark wanted to make sure I could leave with a happy experience with a vacuum company. He was very, very professional and clearly customer-service orientated.

I brought it to them and they made the fix at no cost. I found them to be accommodating and helpful. They’re a great company to work with overall!
