Description of Work: I asked them to look into why my vacuum wasn’t picking up. They told me it was because I needed a new motor. This Riccar Vacuum was $800 and they wanted to charge me $300 to fix it. I knew that the motor wasn’t bad on it. I took it to another vacuum store they found a little something in a button that kept the brush from spinning and took it out for me and it works just fine. This is. It the first time I feel I’ve been taken advantage of. I wasn’t aware that the Riccar Vacuum had such a great service warranty. I take blame for this however as a company Ace doesn’t do a great job of looking after the customer and didn’t help inform me of this perk to the $800 vacuum that in general is nice but not life changing. I took my vacuum in around year 3 and they didn’t encourage or inform me that if I would just wait until year 4 I could get a free service. I feel very wronged and as if they tried to take advantage of me.

We are not sure that you are leaving a review for the correct vacuum store. Every vacuum that comes in to our store is recorded with the owners name and contact info. You are not in our system. There is another vacuum store in Carmel. Maybe it was them?

I ASKED WHAT I OWED THEM AND HE SAID NOTHING EXCEPT THE PRICE OF THE BAGS. IT IS A HUSBAND AND WIFE OPERATION. HE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING THAT HE DID. I REALLY APPRECIATE THE KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY PROVIDE. THEY ALSO ACCEPT BROKEN VACUUMS. HE REFURBISHES THEM AND GIVES THE VACUUMS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND NEEDY FAMILIES.
