+ -1 moreGIVEN THE NATURE OF THE PROBLEM WITH OUR HOUSE AND THE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION TO FIXING IT GIVEN BY PERFECT INSTALL, THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS SUPERB. CHARLES STOPPED OVER THE COURSE OF THE TWO WEEKS TO FULLY EXPLAIN WHAT WAS BEING DONE AND TO GIVE AN UPDATE ON COMPLETION. THE CREW OF PEOPLE INVOLVED WERE TOP NOTCH, CONSIDERATE, AND VERY PROFICIENT. THE OVERALL QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THE OTHER EXCELLENT QUALITY WAS THE CONCERN FOR DOING IT RIGHT.
Description of Work: UPON ARRIVING TO INSTALL A NEW FLOOR, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE SUBFLOORING, BACK DOOR THRESHOLD, AND SUPPORT BEAMS FOR THE BACK PORCH CAUSED BY TERMITES AND WATER. AN ASSESSMENT WAS DONE BY CHARLES AS TO WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. HE THEN PRESENTED AN ESTIMATE WHICH WAS ACCEPTED. WORK COMMENCED IMMEDIATELY AND WAS COMPLETED WITHIN TWO WEEKS WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF DAYS OF INTERRUPTION.

+ -1 moreORIGINALLY, MR. LOGSDON WAS PROMPT, POLITE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE INSTALLED WINDOWS I HAD PURCHASED FROM PELLA. I CONTACTED HIM TO DO ADDITIONAL WORK IN MY HOME AND HE WAS PUNCTUAL WITH THE ESTIMATE AND DELIVERING SAMPLE MATERIALS. ONCE HE HAD THE DOWN PAYMENT, HOWEVER, HE FAILED TO PERFORM AS PROMISED AND IS NOT RESPONSIVE.
Description of Work: I PAID MR. LOGSDON A DOWN PAYMENT ON MAY 3, 2004. HE WAS TO TEAR OUT AN EXISTING DECK AND STAIRS AND REPLACE SAME. RAIN DELAYED THE WORK BUT THE JOB IS YET TO BE COMPLETED. DURING OUR LAST CONVERSATION, MR. LOGSDON PROMISED THAT THE WORK WOULD BE COMPLETE BY THE LAST WEEKEND IN JUNE. IT IS NOW AUGUST AND THE WORK WAS STARTED, BUT A MESS HAS BEEN LEFT AND THE WORK IS NOT COMPLETE. MR. LOGSDON DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS.

+ -1 moreBOUGHT WINDOWS AT MENARDS AND GOT HIS NAME FROM THERE. HIS ESTIMATE WAS LOWER THAN THE TWO OTHER COMPANIES I CALLED. RESCHEDULED 1ST APPOINTMENT DUE TO DEATH IN FAMILY (UNDERSTANDABLE). GOT THE JOB DONE IN ABOUT 3 HRS, HAD TO DO EXTRA ROUTING AND TRIM WORK, BUT WAS STILL $25 LESS THAN ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. CLEANUP WAS OK BUT NOT PERFECT. THEY ALSO DO GENERAL CARPENTRY.
Description of Work: REMOVED 3 WINDOWS IN GARAGE, PICKED UP NEW WINDOWS AT MENARDS, INSTALLED AND TRIM WORK INSIDE AND OUT. (WINDOWS WERE PURCHASED SEPARATELY).
