Eubanks came to our house several times. We were frustrated that the technicians didn't seem to carry commonly used parts with them. For example after the furnace electronic board was replaced, they didn't have common electrical terminals to hookup the humidifier and air cleaner. (The board hookups used standard female wire clips, which if I had seen, I could have opened my tool box and given them.) After every arrival to perform work they left to go back to the shop for parts.. This occurred 4 times.. When they were complete, the electric air cleaner didn't work. (It had probably broken before they started repair.) Instead of offering or suggesting to fix it they suggested we buy a standard air filter, which didn't fit the electronic opening. Also the humidifier didn't work, and they didn't offer to look at. (another company fixed it for $50, by replacing the filter media..) They did replace motor and ecb board. Description of Work: Furnace would not start or heat or blow. They troubleshoots to be a bad motor. After installing motor, furnace still did not work. They said board was bad.. Replaced board, furnace then worked. Had to come back to hook up humidifier and air cleaner, but did not test function before leaving. They did arrive promptly and when called they did show up. We have concerns with their diagnostic ability for complex problems.

EUBANK CAME OUT WHEN CALLED, BUT THEIR FIRST ''SOLUTION'' DIDN'T WORK ($104). NEXT DIAGNOSIS WAS THE OPPOSITE EXTREME A NEW COIL PAN ($1,300). THEIR METHOD FOR SOLVING, WHAT TURNED OUT NOT TO BE THE PROBLEM, WAS LUDICROUS - INSTEAD OF MOVING THE WATER HEATER, PULL OUT THE FURNACE? EUBANK USED TO PERFORM ALL OF OUR HVAC SERVICE WORK - NO LONGER.
Description of Work: WAS ''WORK'' PERFORMED? YES AND NO. DID IT SOLVE THE PROBLEM? NO. WATER WAS LEAKING AROUND THE FURNACE FROM THE AC RUNOFF. THE COMPANY MOVED THE PVC DRAIN PIPE SLIGHTLY ($104) BUT IT STILL LEAKED. I CALLED THEM TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY. THIS TIME, THEY ANALYZED THE PROBLEM AS A CRACK/LEAK IN FURNACE COIL/PAN. THE WATER HEATER PROHIBITED CLEAR ACCESS TO FURNACE, BUT COULD HAVE BEEN MOVED. INSTEAD OF MOVING WATER HEATER, EUBANK WANTED TO PULL FURNACE OUT AND GET AT THE COIL PAN THROUGH THE TOP. THAT ESTIMATE WAS $1,300! I DID NOT HAVE THEM PERFORM ANY OTHER WORK. THEY SENT US AN ADDITIONAL $60 BILL FOR THE RETURN CALL. I CALLED ANOTHER HVAC TO COME OUT AND DIAGNOSE. HE FELT IT WAS NOT A COIL PAN PROBLEM, BUT PVC AND OTHER MINOR DRAINAGE ANGLES, ETC. HE MOVED THE WATER HEATER TO ANALYZE AND FOUND IT WAS NOT THE COIL PAN. HE MOVED WATER HEATER PERMANENTLY AND REPLACED THE PIPING ($450 TOTAL FOR TWO SERVICE CALLS AND PROPER REPAIR. COMPARED TO EUBANK'S $1,300 ESTIMATE, PLUS $104

EUBANK HEATING IS AN HONEST BUSINESS THAT WILL TELL YOU WHAT IS WRONG WITHOUT TRYING TO SELL YOU SOMETHING WHEN THEY WALK IN THE DOOR. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND
