+ 0 moreI enjoyed working with Ralph Ballard. He was very patient with my slow decision making process. I upgraded my shingle to a designer color, and Ralph suggested that I change the color of my gutters from black to a complimentary clay color. The house looks very nice. Even though it was snowing the day the work began, the men worked diligently to get the work done. Two trim boards needed replaced due to rot. The boards were painted and installed. In addition to the roof, I had originally thought about bumping out my attic space to add additional living space. Ralph contacted the county planning commission to obtain requirements, etc. He gave me an estimate for changing the roof line in the attic and suggested a more economical improvement would be to add skylights and not change the roofline. I am very happy with the result. I am hoping to have Construction Solutions convert my attic into a finished living space in the near future.
Description of Work: removed & replaced roof on house, attached garage & shed; filled in existing box vents & installed ridge vents on house & garage; installed 2 skylights; and removed & replaced gutters & downspouts.

+ -1 moreThis crew was working in 90 degree weather. In spite of the heat, they kept on working to get the job done. I kept them in ice water and cokes as much as I could. I appreciate their professionalism and their hard work. I know I could not do what they did. Our roof looks great! Will recommend this company to anyone who needs a new roof. His estimate was exactly what he charged us.
Description of Work: tore off old roof and replaced with better quality new roof. They cleaned up the entire mess, used a magnet to pick up all the nails that they missed - excellent service all the way around.

+ 0 moreFrom the start Ralph was courteous and professional. He worked from the insurance estimate and helped me with getting my final depreciation check. The crew did a fantastic job on the roof and gutters. They showed up on time and were able to complete the roof in a day and followed up that week with the gutters. I had complete piece of mind after talking to Ralph that the job would go well. It was a pleasure doing work with his company. I would highly recommend them.

Ralph, Darryl and team did an great job on our roof. They made sure the area was clean and neat prior to leaving and that we were completely satisfied with the work. We would certainly recommend them and have to our neighbors!

Description of Work: Our home was recently damaged by a hail and windstorm, and we notified our insurance company that we needed repairs made. We contacted three different roofing companies, and Ralph Ballard of Construction Solutions Plus made us the best offer. All of our previous shingles were removed, and some of the wood had to be replaced around the chimmney because of a leak. Instead of putting down black paper, a rubber material was used so it would seal around the nails. New vents were installed and the loose siding was repaired. Ralph employs highly professional workers who finished the job in one day, with Ralph checking on them periodically throughout the day. They were very careful not to damage our landscaping or garage door by providing protection. They used a trailer to dispose of the shingles to avoid damaging our driveway. A magnet was used on the yard and driveway to pick up any nails that might have been dropped. Ralph is a very conscientous and honest person, and does first-class work. He is a personable man, and does his best to please the customer.
