WOODLAND TREE & LANDSCAPE

It was a great experience and I'd use Jesse again. The initial estimate was a little high, but Jesse worked with me to negotiate services and a price that fit my budget. He did a fantastic job overall, we couldn't believe how good the tallest of the two river birch's looked. Upon request he even came back out to trim some additional limbs off of the other river birch for no additional charge. The tree behind the shed was removed as discussed. There was very little trail that anyone had been there, the cleanup was excellent.

Fast service was there when he said he would be. Did a good job. Would recommend.

Jess Ray sent me the following email on June 10, 2010: "I will take a look at this on friday afternoon or monday morning. We are very aware of other plants and landscape. I will leave you a written estimate. Any questions you can call my mobile line at 317-441-3436 Thank You Jess Ray" I waited on Friday afternoon and on Monday morning (and afternoon) and Jess Ray never showed up. I wrote to him stating that I had waited. He wrote the following email message to me on June 14, 2010: "Robert sorry for the delay we worked part time saturday 10 hrs sunday and have had numerous calls today for storm damage. They were on houses driveways and hanging above houses. I will try to get out there tomorrow or wednesday morning. Again I am sorry thanks Jess Ray" I wrote back to Jess Ray, but never heard back from him. It is now Thursday night. He never contacted me. I guess that Jess Ray does not need the business. I sent Jess Ray the following final email on Thursday evening: "I have decided to not go with your company since I find you unreliable. I will, however, provide you with a rating on Angie?s List."

Jess and his helper worked for 3 days to take down the two large trees. They worked without breaks to get the job done. They cleaned up after, dropped top soil and grass seed in the divets left by the trees. They even took down a branch that broke off of a separate tree at no extra charge. I would definitely call them again.

I got 4 estimates to get a tree removed in my front yard. Woodland was the only one that included bringing soil and laying grass seed with hay as part of the service. Their estimate was very reasonable. Other places would charge for every little thing. Woodland did more and charged less than almost all the other places! After calling and saying I chose them, he told me when he would be over to take it down and was very responsive to all my calls. He was right on about how long it would take. After the tree was down and he treated my yard, he even stayed around a few extra minutes to give me suggestions on my landscape! Very easy and simple process, they were great to work with. I would recommend Woodland any day and they will be my first call in the future.

Jess and his crew were exceptional. They offered great suggestions without being pushy or arrogant, and really listened to what I wanted and needed. They also did some extra small things on their own at no extra charge. The only small glitches were repeated push backs of my appointment date due to storm-related projects that came up as well as having to contact them more than once to finish some clean up of landscaping blocks. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Jess completed the estimate and job the very same day I called!! He was very fair in pricing and great to work with. He and his team did a quality job, and cleaned up the debris to my satisfaction. I will definitely use Jess and his company again.

They arrived on time, did everything the way I expected and cleaned up after the job. I was very satisfied with the work and the price. I highly recommend this company.

Jess answered the phone and told me about the wood he has. He was friendly and helpful, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He offered to deliver the wood that afternoon. We weren't available until the next day, so he brought it when it worked for us. When he delivered the wood he also offered advice on a number of trees in our yard (they are a full service tree service too). After he stacked the wood, he decided he hadn't brought quite enough (though I think it was darn close--I wouldn't have called him on it), so he returned later that afternoon with more wood. It's all mixed hardwood and burns well. Will definitely call Jess when we're ready for more.

It went very well. Jess came out, gave an estimate, and was able to do the work the next day. He did an excellent job and cleaned up everything afterward. We love the new look of our yard! He also recommended other work we might want to have done and discussed our trees with us at no charge. He has a lot of experience and knowledge about trees.

I stopped by Woodland and met Jess. He showed me the firewood and described how much we would get for $75.00 and he agreed to deliver it the same afternoon. He called at 12:00 and was at our house in 10 minutes. He offloaded the wood and it was substantially more than we had discussed. I am extremely satisfied and will use Woodland in the future.

Within just a few days of calling Jess Ray and ordering firewood, he promptly had it delivered and neatly stacked in my back yard. He took special care to cut the wood (just as I had requested) into the small, split pieces that are easiest for me to handle and the wood is well-seasoned. He is professional and considerate, prompt and has reasonable prices for an excellent product. I have done business with him for several years and each time I am consistently pleased.

They just did a really nice job and were very conscientious. They stuck with it, they couldn't work one day because it was raining but they came right back the next day and finished.

They did an excellent job for me. He really helped me in the selection of the new tree and bushes and other landscaping. We are very happy with the work they did and we would use them again!

They were great and I would use them again! They did a good job, coming when they said they would and doing what they said they would do. They cleaned everything up and then they were gone.

They do great work. They are reasonably priced. They respond best when they are given an exact time frame. You have to give an exact date for when the work should be completed. They do great work.

I would like to give them an A+! They came equipped with GOOD equipment which made a big difference.
