They do great work. My husband and the our technician hit it off right away. They are personable and reasonable in their pricing and the way they approach service. We purchased a contract with them. Our unit has been working well and it is quieter than the unit we had before.

Expensive but went very well. Would hire again.

The tune-up was okay. They found the shut off valve behind the furnace. The water pressure is low and they said that I would need to put in all new plumbing.

Everything worked out well we just wished they would have honored the Big Deal that we purchased.

Service provider went over and beyond to find the access to the outdoor water spicket in order to replace it. We are talking going through crawl spaces in an army crawl at times. Very pleased with their service .

The repairman was on time, took less than than I thought he would take, and left no mess behind.

It went well. Tried to buy new thermostats, but when tech came back to do that & the air filter install, he discovered that the thermostats weren't compatible with our Carrier furnace. Summers was timely with the refund for the thermostats since I had paid in advance of the second visit.

My furnace went out. Summers had a coupon in a mail pack for a free second opinion, and that's what I had them come out and do. It was free because of that coupon. I felt like the technician that came was very honest and wasn't pushy or anything like that. I didn't end up going with them for any service.

The technician was very nice and punctual.

I didn't know they were on Angie's List. I called them because they had installed the water heater. When I did call them about it they told me the water heater was guaranteed for 10 years so I thought that was good. They told me the only trouble was that I was going to have to pay for installing the replacement. They told me it would cost $500. That annoyed me to no end so I quit doing business with them for that reason. Not only that, but they came out, took out the old one and installed another identical water heater -- the very same brand and everything. My feeling was that was stupid. They should not replace a defective water heater with the same brand of water heater. They were not particularly understanding about it.

At that time, I must have paid for the water heater itself and the installation, but I don’t know what that was. I thought the company was good, but my most recent experience changed my mind. I just knew that they were well established in Indianapolis and was happy to go along with them then. For quality, in view of the fact that the water heater died after 4 years, when I was told it would be good for 10 years, I would give it a “C”. I think the punctuality was good. I wouldn't recommend them on the basis of my more recent experience. I would tell other to go ahead and use them, but beware of this business about guaranteeing their products. I would say until I had my most recent experience and I tried to argue with them, kind of a stupid thing, but I tried to explain what my views were about their replacement policy, I would rate a “B” for professionalism.

Googled for an emergency service, then checked their Angie's List reputation. Called at 4 am and had a person out in a little over an hour. Service was excellent and the Jonathon was knowledgeable. Even though I forgot to mention the coupons, I am ok with the pricing due to the quality of the service.

Summers office called the day before arriving to remind us the furnace check would be the next day. Then we received a call the next day when they were on their way to our house. They arrived at the scheduled time. Professional. Knowledgeable. We've scheduled them to return prior to the air conditioning season.

RE: HVAC - They are always on time and call ahead when they're on the way. They don't just do the routine stuff. They point out any potential problems with anything they see (not just HVAC, but plumbing and ductwork). They've helped us address potential problems before they become real problems. They're always very professional and trustworthy. We don't feel like we're being pushed toward unnecessary expenses. They truly care about our home and the work they do. RE: Plumbing - I can't say enough about our most recent experience. Gerald came out to address a drain problem with our kitchen sink. He discovered some very poor work had been done by the previous owner with the piping under the sink and in the basement. He spent an entire day rebuilding everything. He even took the time to route the basement pipework so as to be as unobtrusive and least unsightly as possible. He discovered the original work was even worse than he thought. A half day's work turned into an entire day. He didn't leave until he was satisfied everything was in order. And this is the type of work and attitude we've found with everyone we've worked with at Summers.

They seemed kind of expensive. Somehow they have this thing, it's just complicated and when somebody read the statement of somebody else had given you, it just really ran through. They tried to sell you like he's contracting thing, then you can get a work done for last. It really probably was not their fault, it was just the new pressure thing causes problem. The wells is like better than about 60 years old. I just didn't like the business. They wanted to sell you some kind of a contact and they had to look and they will price in front of you. "It was cheaper if you did this." It's just hard sale. I thought it was kind of expensive but I don't know what pressure tank costs.

Repairman was very professional and made all repairs in a timely manner.

Went well. We had another A/C that we knew needed replace. We wanted them to do a check while they we re there to confirm and give a second opinion. But they charged for it as service which they could have let me know earlier when I scheduled the appt. $49 ended up around $130 +

Everything was perfect. He was friendly, thorough, and gave me recommendations on how to extend the life of my water heater. He did not pressure me into buying any additional items. The employee that completed the services was named Jordan Judy.
