We had two huge Sweet Gum trees removed from a property we own, and the tree service we used did not do a very good job of removing the stumps. We called Stump Busters and Scott came out the next day and looked everything over and gave us a call with an estimate, which we thought was very fair. We gave him the go ahead to perform the service. He was able to do it within a few days after that. Everything went well from the first call to the finish. He was very pleasant to work with and we would use him again if needed.

It went very well. I called him on Monday. He stopped by that night and removed it the next day. He had a self-propelled stump remover which did not require a truck or removing a section of my fence. Exellent customer service.

Scott came by and gave an estimate and came back a few days later to do the job. He did a wonderful job! I used him 20 years ago and that's why I used him again. I would definitely use his services again in the future.

I called Stumpbusters on Tuesday. Scott (Meyer - president) came out the same day to look at the stump. He left his business card, so that I would know he had been there. I received my estimate by phone on Wednesday. He removed the stump on Thursday. Stumpbusters removed the stump by grinding it well below ground level. I couldn't have been more pleased.

It took a few days for them to call me back after leaving a message, but all went smoothly and in a timely manner after that. Once on the job they were very efficient, and careful not to damage any adjacent trees. They did a great job. I would use them again.

Quick, easy, satisfied

After contacting Scott Meyer I had an estimate in 1 day. He scheduled the work for a couple of days later. We had to reschedule due to road resurfacing in our neighborhood, but he set us up for a couple days later. The crew showed up on the appointed day, and trimmed out the damaged limbs. They did an excellent job cleaning up all the debris.

Scott Meyer , President , gave me a quote over the phone based on my description and stayed with the quote after seeing the work. He was prompt and efficient.

I contacted two companies about this job and ended up selecting Stump Busters (Scott Meyer) primarily based on cost and recommendation from a local nursery. Scott was very helpful, estimating that he could grind out the stump to just below the surface for $85.00. I said I wanted the stump removed entirely so I could replant in that same location and he increased his estimate to between $100-$110 depending upon what he ran into underground. As it turned out, he ran into lots of rocks and debris presumably left behind by the builder, dulling his cutter in the process. He said he would only charge me the $110 he bid, but I knew he was concerned about the cost of resharpening his cutter. I voluntarily offered $125 to help compensate him for his costs. Even at that, I paid less than the other company bid, but their bid included soil replacement and seeding, which Scott did not do. Overall, I was pleased with the work and professionalism. Scott actually arrived two days ahead of schedule and was done quickly. I was left with a relatively small pile of dirt and sawdust to dispose of, but I managed to clear that myself the next day.

PRICES REASONABLE. REMOVE STUMPS, PLANT GRASS SEED, AND DO A GREAT JOB. USE RATHER WIDELY FOR A NUMBER OF PROPERTIES!
