+ -1 moreSteve was very through in his investigation. After spending a couple of hours without finding anything wrong, he was not charging for his time. Even though the problem GFI outlet was probably not old enough to be defective, I requested that it be changed on the chance it was bad or weak. If the problem continues, he will refund my money. I would certainly call Steve again for electrical service.
Description of Work: Checked outlets associated with a GFI outlet that occasionally triped for no apparent reason. He dismantled the outlets and reconnected wiring in a manner to correct the shortcuts taken by the builders employees.

+ -1 moreThe process was painless. We were thrilled that we did not even need to replace breakers, let alone the entire panel.
Description of Work: Steve was very nice on the phone and returned my call the same day. He was able to come out within a few days of my initial call. He explained his rates clearly over the phone. We needed a bad switch replaced in our bathroom as well as a new microwave installed and the old one removed. We also had concerns about corrosion on our breaker panel. I told him the breakers would probably need to be replaced but I didn't know if we needed a entirely new panel or not. He fixed the switch (no charge for the material) and also installed our new microwave. Steve said that the breakers did not even need to be replaced and that the panel was fine. We really appreciated his honesty and will definitely be using him in the future for all of our electrical needs.

+ -1 moreThe electrician was quick to get there; he found and repaired a few items. I was not there. He did not inspect the exterior connection to the meter as he would have noticed that the rubber boot on the roof was missing. The house is still vacant as of this report so I do not know if there are electrical issues that were not addressed. I cannot recommend or advise against using this contractor. So far the only issue was the missed rubber boot that is a leaking hazard and not an electrical issue. I think that he should have let me know about it. He seemed nice and knowledgeable to me.
Description of Work: The house had a fire and the electric meter was pulled off the house. The house damage was fixed and in order for electric service to be turned on, the electrical system needed to be inspected by a licensed electrician.

+ -1 moreI left a message on his voicemail and Steve returned my call later that evening. He came out the next day to provide the estimate. He arrived on time. He was very friendly and professional. He actually came up with a different way to get power out to our pool area. We didn't opt to go that route, but it was a different "outside the box" type of solution. We may use it in the future for other electrical needs in our pool area. I liked Steve and would not hesitate to use him in the future.
Description of Work: I called Steve's Electrical Service in order to get an estimate to have wires run from our house to our pool area in order to power a new heat pump.
