They were very professional, timely and thorough. The quote was given prior to the cleaning. In 20 years of being a homeowner, I have never been as satisfied with a carpet cleaner as I was with Spot Free. They took the time to clean thoroughly and move small items (such as kids bulky toys) that most cleaners would just clean around. They had fans going on the job to help speed up drying time. They put orange protectors by stairs and doorways in order to protect the wood from being bumped by the hose. They actually got down to work and did not spend time chatting and taking up my time. The couch was thoroughly cleaned and looks brand new (which is impressive after 11 years and 4 kids worth of damage to it). I would definitely use this company again!

Spot Free is great! I have used them twice to clean my Berber carpet that can be a challenge due to pets. They were punctual, courteous, and worked extremely hard to get the carpet clean and bright. My carpet looks great and I would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended. My only suggestion is to contact them directly via phone. I do not know if they regularly check the email contact method via Angie's List. But if you call, they will call back promptly.

WORKED PERPORMED IN NO TIME. WILL USE AGAIN

This was my first time using this company for a carpet cleaning. Our carpeting is beige and almost eight years old. We have no pets, but three young kids, so our carpet has seen better days! I was easily able to get an appointment for the day I requested and was given a one-hour time window for him to show up. The technician showed up within that time window. We discussed the services he would provide, and he started measuring the rooms (they charge by the square foot instead of by the more vague definition of "room" -- better, in my opinion, than getting surprised by a company that insists on your "hall" being a "room," or a larger area being called two "rooms"). He provided us with an estimate, including a discount for the fact that we moved most of the furniture ahead of time. We agreed on the price, and he immediately got to work and finished within a timely manner. When finished, he let us "inspect" the work, and he answered some questions that I had about the cleaning in general. He gave an estimated time for it to dry (and his estimate ended up being very accurate). I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before submitting my review, because I've had carpets cleaned by other companies in the past that looked perfectly clean for the first few days after the cleaning...but the same old spots just crept back up through the fibers and the carpet would look dirty again after a few days. It's been two weeks after Spot-Free cleaned our carpets, and I've been very pleased with the way that everything still looks! They were more expensive than the previous "coupon" companies that I've used, but like I said, the quality was much better. The technician did make a point of telling me that they would return promptly to re-clean any spots in case I wasn't satisfied after a few days. I was very pleased and will use this company again in the future.

Spot Free has always cleaned my carpets. The son of the owner arrived on time, discussed and reviewed what I wanted done. He asked about areas the needed treated. AFter he cleaned he helped to set up fans to make drying faster. I am very satisfied with the service and the quality is outstanding.

Very well. I have used this company several times in the past, and they always do a good job. They are conscientious, and use plastic guards on wall corners.

They arrived on schedule, went right to work non stop until they finished. I used this company in 2008, so the carpet is 2 years older and its not expensive carpet. We didn't expect the same results and were satisfied with the job.

It was an okay experience. I'm not sure if it was a reasonable price, as I haven't had my carpet cleaned in a few years.

Charged an exhorbitant price for the job. Refused to return to remedy areas that had cleaning lines from the machine and other areas that were unsatisfactory or were just missed. Ignored contact efforts.

The enzyme was applied to the carpet and allowed to soak through to the pad. After a short time the technician rinsed the carpet and vacuumed the excess rinse. The carpet was not dry after about 5 days. Spot Free said this was probably because such a large area was treated, and supplied fans to dry the carpet. After a few days of the fans running the carpet was dry, but there was still an odor throughout the basement. By their own admission they didn't allow the enzyme to work long enough, and volunteered to come back for another application. After the second application, and several days of drying with fans there was still an odor in one part of the basement (although not as bad). The smell is finally almost gone now about 4 weeks after starting the process. The best way to prevent a cat urine problem in the first place is to check with a blacklight if you suspect your cat is urinating on carpet (the urine stains will glow under the blacklight). We let our problem go too long without recognizing it. I believe that Spot Free is an honest company and strives to deliver good service. They simply made a mistake in this case by not allowing the enzyme to work long enough, and not realizing the carpet wouldn't dry on it's own.

On time. Returned my initial call very quickly. Set up estimate time and then job date. All went well.

The job was done extremely well. You pay by sq. ft. No hard sell, the price was all inclusive including moving furniture (i.e., sofa, dining room table and chairs). They provided an estimate of the cost before performing the work. The price paid is the estimate price.

Found them on Angie's List. Called me back right away and scheduled something for later that week. Was on time and VERY polite, friendly, quick to complete their task, neat (took his shoes off right away), answered all of my questions and told me how much it would cost before he left the house. Called me back one week later and scheduled an appt to return the rugs AND all of this ahead of schedule. The rugs looked FANTASTIC!!

Spot free called soon after leaving a message on the phone. They came out and gave me an estimate and came the next day on time. Cleaned the carpet thoroughly and professionally. Equipment and water was all housed in their van. Carpets dried completely in about 6 hours. Great job.
