NITRO-GREEN

Our previous lawn service provider went out of business, Nitro Green called and said they do some of our neighbors lawns, would we give them a try. We did, and it was the worst mistake we could have made! When new neighbors moved into the neighbor hood and asked who we used, I told them I could get the number for them if they wanted me to. They said NO! They wanted to make sure they used someone else because our lawn looked so bad! I was embarrassed and conveyed this to Nitro Green, they said they would send someone out to talk with us and to re treat, because we had such a bad strange summer! Well we are doing it ourselves, so far it looks better than what they left us with!

I've used these guys for 3 years in a row. This last year was a major disappointment. I paid for a years worth of service (7 applications) ahead of time. This year I had more weeds than I had in the past. I was only given 6 applications total and was robbed of my 7th and last treatment of the year (winterizer). They decided to give me a lime treatment which I did not approve of nor did I pay for it. So because of that, they've decided that my 7th and last treatment of the year (winterizer) will not be provided. I was just going to let it go and apply winterizer myself. But they had the nerve to call me again to schedule a winterizer treatment for 25% more than what I paid for in advance. Another one of my complaints is the continuous rising cost that they charge for their service. I would AVOID Nitro Green at all cost if you value your time and money. My yard is pretty much established since moving into this newly built home. I think I'm just going to go back to doing my own treatment or maybe shop around for other services.

We like them. Our neighbors at our old house had used them and they referred them. Their prices were more reasonable than some of the other bigger companies. It's $35 an application and they probably do 6 a year.

We have used Nitro-Green for about 3 years. Until this year we really liked their services and reasonable prices. This year they went through a management change. Our normal services weren't performed in early spring like normal. We tried to contact the company to find out if they had gone out of business or moved. When we finally got a hold of someone, the normal services were performed late in the spring after several calls to the company with complaints. They have done our yard all year this year and I have no complaints with our lawn, we just weren't satisfied with customer service after this management change. We are looking for a different lawn care service.

I have been using Nitro-Green for about 7 years now. I was always pleased with the service I received from Scott, until All Green acquired Nitro-Green. Since then, the service has really declined. I received my early spring treatment on June 5 and my early summer treatment in August. I have more crab grass and dandelions this year than I have in the past 4 years. I have 2 more treatments I pre-paid for this year, so I hope those happen before there is snow on the ground. I will no longer be using Nitro-Green after this season due to their decline in quality and service.

This company had a change in ownership at the beginning of 2009. I was pleased with the service provided by the past owner. Nitro Green is now operated by All Green in Fort Wayne. I have closed my account, but the new company continues to invoice me for unauthorized services. I recommended this company to many neighbors last year, but many of my neighbors have been complaining about the quality of work this year. If you care about your lawn, I do not recommend this company.

SCOT IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DIDN'T TRY TO PUSH SERVICES WE DIDN'T WANT. THE PRICE WAS VERY GOOD AND THE RESULTS IN OUR LAWN WERE GREAT.
