The man that came out and gave me the estimate was very professional and made sure I understood how things would work. I liked that. The gentleman who did the work was very friendly and professional too.Work was done, and there was never a mess. Both men wore covers on their shoes which I thought was an added plus. I sat down and enjoyed my new gas fireplace in just a few short hours.

Service repairmen arrived in a timely manner and was very courteous and personable. He assessed the situation and proceeded to remove the water in the sink. After removing the water from the sink, he removed the pipe underneath the sink and the stuff that had plugged the sink was removed. He put the pipe back and cleaned up after himself. He gave us a discount and showed us the normal price of this repair. He also encouraged us to get a service contract for our furnace - so we purchased a service contract. We will definitely use them again.

I actually called another plumbing company but a Mowery truck showed up. The plumber said Mowery bought the plumbing company that I called. It was a simple copper sweating job done in less than an hour. Work was fine but $440 for less than an hour's work at a location less than a mile from Mowery seemed very excessive. He agreed that the amount I paid was too much and adjusted the price to an amount I thought reasonable.

Apparently that phone number was forward to Mowery and they did not identify themselves as such. Mowery purchased the business of Jaynes, apparently. It was a surprise when Mowery pulled up our driveway to do the work. I gave it a chance, since Jaynes had sold to them, thinking that he must have know what he was doing even though I had had a bad experience with a very high charge from Mowery several years earlier on a furnace repair. In fairness on that issue, that was before the current owner of Mowery had come along. I felt that the plumber moved very slowly and the cost was nowhere in line with what was done. I paid the bill because I had not asked for an estimate, but I feel like I was taken advantage of. I will never use Mowery again. A resolution has been reached but it still hasn't been completed yet. I was very, very pleased with them. He contacted me immediately & he was very amicable. In the end we reached an agreement and they provided a refund.

One of the faucets was replacement of an original 47 yr. old fixture which crumbled apart in the plumber's hand. We replaced that bathroom lavatory faucet and the water supply lines and both shut off valves. One of the water supply lines also broke apart and required replacement of the copper connection. The kitchen faucet was also leaking, a 10 year old Peerless single handled faucet with a spray unit. The plumber offered to repair it. We decided to upgrade. After comparing the price packages available, I opted to purchase both Delta faucets from Lowe's and the plumber returned to do the installations. We still are considering major bathroom and kitchen renovations and will get a price from Mowery when we are ready to undertake that work. We selected Mowery as they took over the business of Jayne's Plumbing (our previous plumber) when Mr. and Mrs. Jayne retired recently, and after checking Angie's List, decided to proceed with Mowery.

I called their office at approximately 8:30am to find out when they could come out to take a look at the furnace to find out what was wrong. It was running but blowing cold air. Becky told me that could look at it the same day. This was at my mother's house and she was unable to be there to let the service tech in. I asked them to call me 30 minutes prior to the service tech arriving so that I could leave work and go and let him in. They called me promptly at 10:52am. I went to the house (it took me about 15 minutes to get there) and the service tech was there already. He shut off the furnace and turned it back on and made the determination that it was the igniter. He explained everything to me as he was replacing it. He also explained their service and recommended getting it serviced. We also talked about the age of the furnace and how the houses in the same neighborhood were all starting to see the need for new furnaces and that she may want to consider budgeting for it.

The installed this vent free fireplace about 5 years ago. The logs had a strong chemical odor when they were hot. Ron was out to my house twice to complete the job. He took the logs back to the shop and cleaned them and returned them the next day.

I came home from work and found the inside temperature of my house to be about 50 F. I found a coupon on Angie's list for free service call with repair, so I called them and they were at my house a few hours later. I told the service technician the symptoms. He got his tools and went to work diagnosing the problem. Once he discovered the issue, he informed me of what all the current and potential issues were and then the possible solutions for all of them. He gave me his suggestion and let me make an informed decision as to which repairs to do now and which to plan for later. Once the new parts were installed and the heat was working, he explained to me how to properly maintain my furnace and air filter. He was very informative and very helpful, especially in the middle of winter.

We are remodeling our kitchen and ran into some air ducts in the walls that we were tearing down. I called Mowery's at the last minute and asked for someone to come out to estimate the job. They came out the next day and performed the work within two days. They were extremely accommodating given our situation. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them!

They came out the same day I called, and for about an hour. They were wonderful. I was really impressed. They were very aware of keeping my home clean while they worked.

Chip and his employees are very professional and courteous. They have always completed the jobs in a timely manner.

I have used them for years and I wouldn't use anyone else. Price is for yearly maintenance and filter.

We have used him for the last 5 years and he is great he even put in a thermostat for free.

The thing I like about them is when they come in your house they put booties on they are very respectful of your property and they clean. They are extremely friendly and respectful and they do a good job. These people know what they are doing.

They are easy to work with. They are helpful with recommending other companies when they are unable to do the work.

We were very pleased with their professional work. They cleaned up & hauled away the old countertops & sink. Also performed some minor tasks not on the proposal.

They did a very good job. They're professional and I appreciated their swift attention to the problem. I then signed up for a service agreement with them.

The rep. was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He took time to explain the reasons why our furnace wasn't working well and why it was leaking a small amount of carbon monoxide. He then gave an estimate for furnace replacement along with ductwork repair, and also talked us into purchasing a service agreement. If you buy a service agreement, the furnace cost is discounted, and since we hadn't had any other estimates for replacement, we fell for it. The estimate itself was a reasonable price, though a bit more expensive than the other 4 we got. The ductwork was also considerably more expensive than the other estimates. The worst part of this experience came afterwards: we got other estimates, realized they were better deals, and called to cancel our service agreement. The woman we talked to said this would be fine, but never told us that they'd charge for coming out to look at the furnace. So they sent a refund, minus a service charge and an explanation. Disappointing.

They showed up on time. They were very knowledgeable and very thorough in their approach. They successfully installed the system. I expected them to do more. Refused to install the overflow alarm that was already in place, wouldn't install a support to keep the system held solid in place from the wall, tracked dog excrement into the garage and onto the carpet while walking into the house.

It went very well. The technician first serviced the furnace and then spent a lot of time cleaning and servicing our vent-free fireplace logs. I had been smelling gas and he took a long time to make sure all the connections were tight and checked them with a meter that detects natural gas.

Everyone in the company was polite and professional from start to finish. Even the initial telephone call was handled with patience and honesty. All work was explained beforehand in detail, and the fee was just what was estimated. The workers showed up on time and the installation was efficient - you couldn't even tell they had been there when the work was complete. I was so impressed that they will be coming back to do my regular HVAC cleanings and repairs.

Doug is the gentlemen that I always work with and he is knowledgeable, professional and just outstanding. He is just great.

Excellent. The estimate was accurate there were no hidden expenses. They arrived when they said they would and the job was complete when they said it would be. Personable and great to work with.
