I liked that they were pretty prompt in responding to my request for an estimate that I did on their website. The fact that the estimate was free and that they were able to come out in a day or two was good. The estimator was very professional when he arrived and gave me the estimate so I appreciated all of that. We would have considered using them but it ended up being more money than we wanted to spend. I will have them bid again in the future.

We contacted Tom Frazee to help us with some of our kitchen renovation. We had removed a wall between the kitchen and the former dining room and needed to replace the old windows with a new picture window. We also had to have the ceiling textured and had them do some touch ups on the ceilings in two of our bathrooms. The process went very smoothly. Tom and Jeff were friendly, punctual and responsive. Great communication throughout the process.

They were pretty average. They were in the mid-range of the quotes I got as far as price.

Tom Frazee was very easy to communicate with during the entire renovation project with quick return of telephone calls or emails. His estimate was on target and the work was completed as outlined in the contract. Carpentry was well done, painting was also very good. A highlight was the care with which they restored our solid wood front door. Workers were courteous and left the area surrounding the house in good shape with little residual debris. We found Tom was very good about ensuring all the work was done well and in a timely manner. Overall, a very postive experience.

I didn't use them. The guy actually gave me a fair price. We actually had a personal reference from someone and that's the reason we didn't go with him. We knew someone that had used another contractor recently on a job. The pricing was very, very similar so we went with the other guy strictly because we got a great personal reference on them. They were timely and he came right when he said he would. I thought his estimate was fair and had I not had a personal reference, I would have gone with him. He gave us the fairest price out of the other two. He didn't do anything wrong. I would definitely consider using him in the future.

I was very pleased with the man who came. I was looking to accommodate my mother in my house. She passed away so I had to abandon the project. That?s why I didn?t use them. Anything that the person who came, recommended, seemed applicable. He was very courteous and thorough. He made suggestions for different options that they might want to consider. He gave me some choices to think about, which was very good. I would have pursued their work if things would have turned the way it was planned. I would use them in the future.

The owner himself came for the quote and he was very friendly. He is a local guy. He was easy to talk to. He seemed to be a honest guy. He took time to take us through the project and give some suggestions.

I don’t want to disclose how much I paid for the services. I used them because I’d seen that they had positive feedback on Angie’s list. They had good feedback from people who had used them. They were very friendly and professional. They were timely. They were very good. Nothing could go wrong with them. I would use their services again in the future.

I did not get the work done. He was very punctual and he came out to give me an estimate. The quote was for $37000. It included the cost of the entire building. I liked that they were punctual and that they did what they said they were going to do. The guy was able to turn the estimate around and got it back to me in a timely fashion. I would have been comfortable with him doing the work. In terms of putting the estimate together, he was responsive. I will consider him for a future quote.

We have nothing but positive words to say about Tom and his crew. Tom is honest, fair, and an excellent contractor. The men he hired to work for his are considerate, friendly and do great work. Tom first sat down with us to discuss our needs with the addition. We told him we needed more space without compromising our storage, and we didn't want the addition to look like it was added on. Not only does the addition look like it was built originally with the house, but it improves the overall look of our house. Tom designed a great addition and kept our needs at the forefront of his mind. Tom created all sorts of additional storage in every crevice that he could. He even added an overhead light in some attic space he created . I didn't notice the light until weeks after he and his men were gone. Tom moved very quickly on our poject, even thought it was the middle of winter and we had a giant snowstorm on the Wednesday of the first week. (Incidentally, our roof was gone at the time, but Tom secured the area so well with a giant tarp that NOT ONE FLAKE of snow got underneath the tarp). By the end of the first week, Tom had four new walls up, windows in, and a new roof on the added part of the house. It was amazing! His crew hardly seemed to notice that it was only 15 degrees while they worked. Tom's price was fair, and he went above and beyond in every way. He kept throwing in extra touches along the way (things I didn't even know I needed, but now I love!). Even with all of the extras, the check I wrote to Tom at the end of the project was the same number we had agreed upon before the construction began. Tom was very easy to work with. He is friendly, practical and very responsive. He kept in great communication with me every step of the project. If I ever needed to get in touch with him and had to leave a message, he called back promptly. In summary, our experience with Tom Frazee and his company Frazee Building Compnay, Inc. was superior. We were very pleased with how smoothly the process went and thrilled with the end result!

Only call Tom is you want a contractor that is courteous, cleans up after each day, performs top notch service and is in constant communication. We were actually referred to him by a friend of ours that does tile work for a living. He said if he was going to do any major work that the only person he would call would be Tom. I am so happy that we used him and sincerely wish we would have used him on other projects that we had done around the house. First of all, Tom is an incredibly friendly guy and a pleasure to deal with. He was flexible about coming out multiple times to sketch out the project. Every guy knows you can't finalize this until your wife signs off on it and he had no problem coming early mornings to get it all done. Then during the construction, the room was cleaned up every day. Plastic sheeting and tape was used to minimize dust into the house and despite some additions on our part, Tom managed to keep to a pretty tight schedule. The quality of workmanship is top notch and he was able to address some challenges that we had due to an old house. He was able to stain match a new threshold since my kitchen flooring had been discontinued and was very patient as we worked through 3 rounds of ideas for built in bookshelfs. Tom does use subcontractors - but they were all extremely friendly and performed high quality of work. They were all perfect despite the fact that I have two dogs that tend to not like strangers. I don't believe that Tom is going to be the cheapest. However, I have gone the cheapest route and I got what I paid for. Phone calls not returned, projects dragging on for weeks and shoddy workmanship. Ask yourself what the cost of peace of mind and quality is worth.

I have use Frazee Building for 3 projects so far. I asked him to replace the toilet in my hall bath with the same model he put in the back bath during a complete remodel earlier this year. Tom is a great contractor. He knows what I want and how I want it done. He always exceeds my expectations. For the last two jobs, we arranged for the work to be done when I wasn't home and I'm completely comfortable with him being in the house alone. He replaced the toilet and left the area clean. Tom is and will be my first call for any work to be done in my home. Contractors like him are hard to find. He's a keeper.

The original Master Bath had a drop ceiling over the shower, no vent and a bump out in the shower wall. We wanted the wall and ceiling straightened and the entire area covered in good Italian tile. Since the area is so small we wanted to reduce the visual clutter. We went with a nearly frameless glass Preceria shower wall and door. We chose a customized Kraftmaid cabinet, Hans Grohe and Delta fixtures. Shower wall/door and tile came from Allen Clay Tile. Along one side we had him install three matching Robern medicine cabinets with internal mirrors. Tom installed heating mats under the floor. The final result is very good. We've waited a few months to file this report to see how it was to live in. It's great! Our laundry area was off our attached garage. It was usually cold or hot and always inconvenient. The stair off that room and made a right turn to the basement. It was difficult to move things on the stair and the headroom on the stair was very very low. Tom and his guys punched through a closet wall in a windowless downstairs office installed a straight stair. Much better. Then they converted that room to our laundry. They moved gas pipes, water lines, etc. Tom brought in subcontractors and specialists as needed. The carpenter, plumber, electrician and tile men were all great to work with and professional. Tom did a great job of keeping us informed of what was going to happen when. He prodded us (gently) and the suppliers to keep things on schedule. We added a few odds and ends as the job went along (gas fireplace, downstairs bath vent, new sump pump), but Frazee was up front about their cost and didn't use them as windfall margin opportunities. He was patient and understanding when we were put off by the cost of cabinetry and offered an alternative that saved us money and gave us the quality and look we wanted. We've always heard horror stories of contractors starting a job and disappearing for weeks or finding reasons why the cost had to increase. We had none of that from Tom. He both work from home offices so we were around a lot. He and his guys were great to have around. We heartily recommend him and his team. This is an update nearly 5 years later. These changes made a wonderful improvement to our home. They have worn very well and show no signs of aging. Good crew, great work.

Tom Frazee is great. He returned phone calls in a timely manner and is very knowledgeable. I needed to get an idea what an addition would cost for a house were are considering purchasing and he spoke with me over the phone and gave me an idea of what it would cost very quickly, which was exactly what I needed. I hope we?ll have a chance to use his services in the future.

Tom Frazee was very considerate and professional throughout the whole building process. He promptly returned our phone calls and made sure everything was done to our specifications. He went out of his way to make sure we were pleased with every step of the process and was very quick to answer any questions we had. He stands by his work and wants to do a good job. We also feel his price was very reasonable for the amount of work we had done. We would not hesitate to use him again on future projects and highly recommend him.

They came out and looked at the room, gave me a quote and now they are waiting on me to make a decision. Everything was great, they were very nice and responsive.

They were fine. They were very quick to respond with an estimate and it had a good bit of detail on it. We didn't choose them for any reason in particular. There was nothing negative.

At the initial meeting, Tom came to my home and inspected and measured the areas I wanted remodeled. He was on time and very pleasant. At our next meeting, Tom came to my office, saving me a great deal of time. Tom told me what work he would do and what work he would sub out, and who his subs were. Tom started and completed the project within the agreed time frame. He kept me informed on what he was doing and what would be happening next. Every evening when I came home, I found the work and surrounding areas clean and tidy.The quality of work is outstanding. I am very pleased with Frazee Building Co. and plan on using them for another project in the spring. I have already recommended them to a colleague.

My husband and I could not be happier with this whole experience. Our remodel was on time and on budget (actually, under budget!) Tom Frazee is truly a professional in all ways. He made helpful suggestions to the plan, never failed to return a phone call quickly if he didn't answer the call (which was probably 95% of the time), brought in expert craftsmen who showed up when scheduled and did great work (we can't even tell in our outside brick, where the old window was!) He went above and beyond on several occasions by doing some "extra stuff" that we had not originally asked for. After completing our kitchen, my brother and sister in law hired Tom and his team to do their kitchen and are absolutely thrilled! Tom is genuinely interested in pleasing the customer. He is meticulous with details (correcting things I did not even know where not perfect!) My husband and I are hoping to hire him soon to do more remodeling upstairs. We had never done this before, and like many, have heard the horror stories about remodeling. Working with Tom was actually exciting and enjoyable. We love our new space and know we have added tremendous value to our home.

This included knocking out walls, tearing out floors. They did an excellent job.

We used Frazee for our own home and decided to use him for my grandmothers house. Once again he did a great job. My grandmother loved it.

The professional was fantastic. They were all great with my kids-very pleasant. The job looks good at the end. Mostly just very nice people to work with. I felt very safe with them coming in when I wasn't here.

We were quite pleased as everything that was proposed happened just the way they said it would. Even the finer details of matching original brick and roof was accomplished.
