Description of Work: We had a total master bath renovation. Turning a one person bath into a two person bath. The old bath had one sink, a tiny corner shower, and a huge jacuzzi tub.

Description of Work: I had Frazee builders do repairs to my home that were a part of the buyers agreement when I moved into my home. They replaced exterior siding that had failed, but was no longer under a warranty. They also painted it to match the existing paint on my home.

+ 5 moreTom lead me through the process for picking out with the subcontractors cabinets, flooring, paint and fixtures. He also let me know when I needed to get appliances picked out. Jeff was always on time and very efficient. He kept me up to date on the process and what would be happening next. The whole process took one month but that included tearing down 2 walls and putting up new insulation, drywall, and rerouting some plumbing. They also built a cabinet in the half bath that was in an odd location where standard cabinets wouldn't work.

It is hard to do the work in the months that he did the service but he was able to find a way to get it done.

Description of Work: Tom coordinated an addition on our house. The addition included a foundation, dry wall, roofing, flooring, stone masonry, siding, plumbing, painting, electrical work. Tom lined up all the subcontractors and kept everything on schedule.

+ 1 moreFrazee Building Company were really friendly and prompt getting back to me. He answered my questions honestly. He said that it would definitely be costly to add a basement onto the house and that it could be done, but it may not be cost effective. I felt like he was very honest.
Description of Work: Frazee Building Company actually just called me and we didn't even get a quote per se. I asked him a few questions and he answered my questions. We were considering adding a basement and a main floor above the basement, so like a family room added onto the house.

+ 2 moreWe initially contacted Frazee in October and work began shortly thereafter. We had several projects in mind and they gave us solid estimates on each. Once we decided upon the projects we wanted to do we began to finalize all details. We received a new estimate based on those details (very reasonable based on our requests, NOT bait and switch). Though they had several projects ongoing they were quick to begin work, starting with basement demolition. The project moved along at a good pace. We were very happy with communication and work level throughout. We strongly recommend Frazee for any large projects you might have done.
Description of Work: We have used Frazee in the past for a Kitchen and Master Bathroom/Bedroom remodel and a Sunroom Remodel. For this occurrence we used them to renovate our partially finished basement into a fully finished and updated basement along with a hall bath remodel. This project required Demolition of Existing Walls (drywall and masonry), plumbing, wiring an a full buildout of the basement.

+ 0 moreThe owner Tom came and gave an estimate that he pretty much stuck with after a 2 month delay in doing the work (I just didn't have everything ready to start sooner). Once he had completed the estimate the work was scheduled the guys doing the work came by to do the final measurements. Very professional and polite. Drywall was delivered and the work started the next day. They guys did an good job of cleaning up after each day and even mopped the floor on the last day.
Description of Work: They completed the drywall for a basement living area, bar, bedroom, and bathroom.

+ 0 moreI was very nervous about this project - it was going to be the most expensive investment I had ever made in a home, and I work in a field in which I frequently come into contact with victims of home improvement fraud, so I see how badly things can go. As a result, I was very, very careful in making my selection. I interviewed 5 contractors before settling on Tom Frazee and his crew. The work is now done and it could not have been a better experience. The price was competitive, the craftsmanship is impeccable and the communication with Tom was great. Anytime a question or an issue came up he addressed it fairly and quickly. I always knew what was going on and what to expect next. The guys he has on his team did beautiful work and always cleaned up at the end of the day. I would not hesitate to recommend Frazee Building Company to anyone who wants quality work and a top-notch experience. Bravo!

Description of Work: We're looking at having family room gutted and drywalled. Changes to cabinets, etc. Talked to two people. + 0 moreTom was on spot with his estimate. In fact he reduce the price for not having to do all the work he thought might be necessary. The crew worked hard and were diligent in every aspect of the job. The job was done when he said it would be done with great professionalism. Tom pointed out why things were done, and what the risks were if noth ing had been done. I would recommend them for any home improvement and building job. He knows what he is doing.
Description of Work: Our garage ceiling had been saging for some time, and cracks started showing in the ceiling. I called Mr. Frazee prior to Christmas because I was afraid the ceiling would collapse. He responded the evening I called and came out to inspect what was going on and determine what might need to be done. He informed me that he would not be able to get to my job until mid-January because of his work load. He said that I should brace the ceiling at a specific place to prevent a collapse. He sent a proposal of the job, and about how long it would take. He came out twice before starting the job to make sure material was delivered for the project, and to personally cover the materials delivered with a tarp because of rain and snow forecast. To make the repair properly, Tom had to remove a siding panel on the exterior wall, install a support beam that spanned the length of the garage, jackup the roof and ceiling three inches, install a new drop down stairs to access the attic, replace some drywall on the ceiling (he stepped through it by accident) and spackled the cracks. Tom and his crew completed the job in one day, and his "mud" man came back the next three days to check and respackle the ceiling to make sure it was smooth. They cleaned up after themselves each day. I feel safe to put my cars in the garage again. He had to brace the roof into the new beam and informed me that if I had to get on the roof over the garage, the whole roof could have collapsed. I could not be happier with the job done.

+ 1 moreThey started the job when they said they would and it was finished in three days. The workers were so quiet that I didn't know they were there, except when I passed them on the stairs.
Description of Work: The company restored old windows on the third floor. Replaced glass and some wood, and painted. These are round windows and small square windows. They are still perfect to this day. My date of service may not be exact, but it is close.

+ -1 moreThe quote was in the mid 60's. Frazee did everything. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They came out. They emailed me the quote and I understood it. It seems like they also called back a little later when I kind of went radio silent. They called back and wondered a little bit. I put that on hold because of the sticker shock. Basically, it's been on hold ever since. Compared to the other 2 estimates that I got, 2 of the 3 estimates were right about the same so it would be on par.
Description of Work: Frazee Building Company came out and did the quote process on building an add-on garage. I have a 3-stall car garage and I wanted to add 2 more stalls and a little thing in the footing to the roof for the add-on garage.

+ 3 moreThe guy from Frazee was the original contractor. They came in under budget and they were on time. They were good at communicating each expectation at each step of the job. It was about $12000 for their services. It wasn't the cheapest bid we had, but I would grade their price because of the quality. I would use them again.
