The owner came out and gave us an estimate for what we were wanting and then gave us some time to form a plan as to how we wanted the project to go. Upon hire he began work and never stopped until completion. Which took a little longer than originally thought because our home is very lopsided. It was great to be able to leave him in our house while we were at work. We even went on vacation while the project was underway. That is how much trust we put into them.
Description of Work: We had laminate floors installed in all bedrooms and laminate in the kitchen/sunroom/laundty/ and bathrooms.

I experienced significant delays throughout the process. I also found out later in the process I had to pay some of the sub-contractors directly because Dogwood Builders had account issues. I would never use this company again.
Description of Work: I contracted with Dogwood Builders Inc to build a new home. The company failed to complete the project. The City of Indianapolis found multiple code violations.

The code violations cited by the City also caused considerable delays.
Description of Work: I hired him to build a home. He did not complete the job. I had to hire another builder to complete the work. At that time the city came out to inspect the work that had been done which was done through the point of framing, roofing, electrical and plumbing rough in. The city found multiple code violations and red tagged the house. There were also framing and HVAC issues which caused problems in completion of the homes unrelated to building codes. All of these issues caused considerable additional expense and were handled by the new builder.

JOHN ROBERTS'' BACKGROUND IS SOLID FOR REMODELING WORK, HE MADE A GOOD IMPRESSION AND I GAVE HIM THE OPPORTUNITY WITH MINIMAL AVAILABLE REFERENCES AS THE BUSINESS WAS STARTED IN 2001. VERY PLEASED AND WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO OTHERS.
Description of Work: REPLACED AN OVERHANGING DECK WITH TREATED PINE. INITIALLY, DREW A DESIGN TO IMPROVE THAT OF THE ORIGINAL DECK, QUOTED THE WORK AND TIME FRAME TO COMPLETE. WORK PROFESSIONALLY COMPLETED ON TIME, PROCESS WAS ORDERLY AND CLEAN, PRICING VERY COMPARABLE.
