Description of Work: Doug removed wallcovering and painted four rooms for me over a period of several months. He did an excellent job and kept in contact with me regarding when he would be arriving to work. He was always available by phone if I had a question. I will use his services again.

+ 0 moreDoug painted all areas of an 1100 sq.ft. house both interior and exterior. He was on time everyday when scheduled to work on the project. He was pleasant, honest, and had a "can do" attitude. In addition to his painting, he assisted me on numerous handyman type projects such as hanging a fire extinguisher, removing old shutters and installing new ones, removal of old storm windows and screens, repair of exterior window frames, and many other smaller tasks. I will definitely be using Doug's services in the future both for my office and my personal residence.
Description of Work: Remodeling of 1953 house for professional office use. Doug did all interior and exterior painting including doors, soffit, and miscellaneous items on roof. He also power-washed the exterior. In addition to his painting work he performed a number of handyman type of jobs. Conversion of a residential house into a professional office requires many tasks to make it look presentable and Doug's work spanned like 2 months. I give my absolutely highest recommendations for Doug and Coat of Colors to anyone wanting someone for painting, power-washing, and some handyman type of jobs.

+ 0 moreMr Robinson was prompt in providing an estimate and began work when promised. He called each day to advise me when he would arrive. A problem arose in the laundry room as he removed the wallpaper. The walls had not been primed prior to papering which caused the drywall paper to come off along with the wallpaper. He assessed the situation and gave me several options to choose from. I decided to have bead board installed and then apply two coats of paint. His work was excellent and the room turned out very nice. He adjusted his price fairly and I am very happy with the work he performed. Both he and his employee were pleasant to have around and very polite. I would highly recommend his services.
Description of Work: Mr. Robinson removed wallpaper in two room, installed bead board in the laundry room and gave rooms two coats of paint.

He was right on with his timeframe and communicated with us! Since this was completed and we were so satisfied with his work, we asked him to return to paint our daughter's bedroom.
